I love honeysuckle. I had some for a while. It drew the biggest bumblebees I’ve ever seen. Like flying fuzzy lemons. And that was fine. But I was stupid and planted it by the house. It started ripping the gutters off and had to go lol.

I do have lilacs that just started blooming. I wish they’d bloom all summer, such fragrance!

I live over the road from woods. The wild honeysuckle has been coming across the road and trying to eat my yard for 20 years. I have some lilac bushes. Honeysuckle grows up through them and it's quite hard to tell the difference in the leaves. It's an endless war.

I just bought 8 (I decided 10 was a nice round number but maybe excessive? Maybe? Heh) Invoke mods. JCinFL struck again. I was gonna wait until memorial day but I sincerely doubt I would find a better price--24 bucks (Heaven's Gift's if anyone wants one.)

They're for hanging out in the Closet with Tom Cruise. I hope he doesn't convert them to Scientology.

At that price, I had no need to raid my savings even. So, apart from coils it is All Play from here. A very nice place to be.

They are arriving slowly. Because quite frankly I resent buying anything that costs over a hundred dollars that doesn't give me free shipping and ALSO I was not gonna pay more in shipping than the cost of ONE mod. Really. Etc.

I'm in no rush, Tom Cruise may be. I know he needs company, let's hope he doesn't get little "handsy" so to speak.

I love how horrible things can be made "cute" (only not really) when you add "little" and a Y at the end. Groping women becomes "a little handsy" it's not Right.

I checked exchange rates and with free shipping it was cheaper than any other site.

My understanding is that the wood is saturated with resin. I've used that to fix rotten wood in old furniture, like table legs that have been standing in water for years. My wife collects old furniture and paints it. I've done it with wood that was so rotten you could crumble pieces off with your fingers, afterwards it's rock solid. It penetrates the pores of the wood and hardens like iron. After it's done there's no water left in the wood and no more water can get in. I believe most of the expansion and contraction of wood comes from the change in water content. With furniture you just dry out the wood and pour the resin into the end grain. I think with stabilized wood they use pressure, and it coats the surface as well. My guess is there's no expansion. The wood couldn't expand unless the resin matrix expanded at the same rate.

I'm not sure that's right.....the resin is very likely to expand and contract at a different rate to the wood grain so there is still damage by time possible.

Resin works especially under pressure simply because it sticks like sh*t and is as very hard once its gone off....this does make stabilised wood very resistant to damage...but I don't think its totally impervious.

I haven't got a stabwood mod yet but when I get one i'm certainly not going to treat it as if it was impervious to any harm or just any thing YMMV

Yes an Ammit will work on it.. so will any 22mm tank... a 22mm siren, a Kayfun 5 (which is RL) etc.

That looks like a 'beauty ring', which is what they are called. Did the description where you bought it say it included a beauty ring? You got the extension, that is good. You can use 2 different size batteries.

I call that one my Seahawks colors.

I could honestly see someone mistaking that for a gun.

Interesting that you brought up that possibility because I have used a mod once for exactly that purpose (early summer almost three years ago). Back then I would walk around the neighborhood in the wee hours of the night 2-3 times a night for some exercise. As I came up the walk to my front door I heard someone jumping over the back wall. Soon enough two guys came around the corner that could have been the salt and pepper team that had been trying to break into homes and cars in the neighborhood for months. Still having the attitude I have had all my life I stepped out of the shadows and confronted them under a bright security light "armed" with the only thing I had with me, my TRA Reo P67 with a SS BF RDA and black 810 wide bore DT. With it leveled in a two hand stance they were looking down the DT bore and took it to be a SS handgun with a BIG dark hole in the barrel. When I commanded an answer from them why they were there they turned and ran, jumped back over the wall. Around 10-15 minutes later I had 3 LE's at my door and more looking around the perimeter. A neighbor out on her patio across the way for a smoke saw the affair and had called 911. First thing they asked for the handgun for their "and my" own protection. I laughed as I handed one of them the Reo, and for a long moment they stared at it as if none of them knew what to do next. Being the first one to see these guys up close in their face they got a good description of them from me. They never came back to our immediate area, but it still took months before they either moved on to another neighborhood or were caught. They were never successful the 6-7 times they had tried to get into any of my neighbors places or their cars. But they were at other ranch homes around us.

My Stainless Steel 44 Magnum Reo handgun (albeit in this picture with a Profile Mesh RDA on it). When "leveled to fire" in my hands they hide most of it's true identity.
