Good morning Shiny's
Been tasting challenge juices, no a fan of wasabi but surprisingly finding chili paired with coffee palatable. Pickle, lime, and rice has the potential to be a refreshing change of pace minus the wasabi. Next up mango chili and Mexican chocolate.

He left the dog here. I think he may have had words with the dog, because the dog was all shivery and traumatized like those little dogs get.
First time I've ever stalked a user, period. And it was over a dog, and not mine.
Was the poor shivering guy far from home? How could hubby leave him, I thought they were so attached? :(
Those little dogs shiver just standing there on a hot summer day. :D

If a tank is only 2ml, I’ll put a bubble glass on if it’s available. I’m more concerned about volume than looks, I guess.

I’m not concerned about volume. The Gear does look better with the bubble. But the Zeus are slow to fill with straight glass, so the bubble serves a purpose that way too.

I would suggest making a small test amount 1st - maybe 10mls to see if you’re headed in the right direction.

The Random Mixing thread would be a great place to get some ideas or suggestions too.

    Good luck!!

That's actually where I meant to post it at first, wasn't paying attention to which thread I was in lol.

I just bought the Beserker 1.5 too for the Provaris. I think owning one allows me to join the Tootle Puffer Club! I know there are different levels in the Club so I bought a Siren (it’s leaking)and Nautilus S2 (it’s not leaking) as well. I was hoping I could skip novice Puffer!!

I haven’t built it yet. I’ll really have to wIt until my hands are VERY stable. Plus I’m using a new Aspire 2. I’ve had to remove items from my pif drawer because now I can use them on my Provaris. I have a bunch of clones like NarDa, NarCa and even an Ammit that I bought awhile ago for some reason.

Tootle Puffing is fun :thumb: !!
Why haven't your Provari's got the lovely gnarling on the hand hold?

Good mid afternoon Shiny peoples :)

Lots in the ether winging its way. One package had to come via TNT as it included batteries. I don't usually get batteries from FT but I wanted some 18350's to try my Rave squonker that'as coming....i'd better build at 0.9 ish to get any kind of battery life.

Have a good day to all :)

Good morning shiners! Everything in transit? So far I have packages arriving Friday and Saturday. A FT order who knows.

That is a Quinpu A3 hybrid amplifier that runs a pair of Dayton bookshelf speakers in the shop. It came with Chinese 6N3 tubes but I replaced those with a pair of JAN GE 5670.

Qinpu A3 Integrated Amplifier with headphone amp tube 6N3 hifi audio : China-hifi-Audio online store, Yaqin,Meixing Mingda,XiangSheng,Line Magnetic Tube Amplifier, power amp, preamp,hi-fi CD Player high end audio for sale [MUIA983162] - $188.23 USD

Nice looking Amp. When I went there I got a pop up blocking some script thing that my phone thought shouldn't be there. May just be Lookout on a phone thing, not for real through a real browser.

The Chinese are turning out some nice stuff along with better tubes. Used to be pretty limited in finding tubes but it seems to be steadily improving.

Ah, life in the big city. This I get a notification on even though there is the entire NY harbor between me and the emergency

Thanks, it must be a phone thing as I have no issues on the desktop.

There are some really great amps coming out of China but they are mixed in with the junk. I always replace the Chinese tubes with North American or cold war era Soviet versions. ;)

The Chinese IEM (In Ear Monitor) market is the one that has really come a long way with excellent earphones, most of them in the sub $100 and $50 range.

Feliks Audio is a relatively new tube amplifier manufacturer out of Poland with some very reasonable and well made products.

You cook? If so I'm on my way over then we can taste these together.

You are VERY creative with putting things together. Cheers! :)

I was going to ask TrollDragon about that amp but you got there first. Went there to look and then promptly bookmarked it. Seed planted.

Very true about the Chinese turning out some quality stuff. Right, the good stuff takes some research. Much like some of the Russian made tubes.

I was about to post when I saw your next. Good stuff! Audio gear can become a very deep rabbit hole. Checking out Feliks Audio now, thank you.

IEM's - I have a pair of Carbo Tenore ZH DX200 CT that I love. Consistently good reviews. I only listen to lossless and I find them to be pretty accurate (at least for me).

I still pull out my V-MODA Vibe IEM's. I think those are pretty solid and offer a pleasurable listening experience too. Once those were discontinued I scooped up a couple more for IEM stash.

For me, both of those blow away some of the pricier IEM's. At least until you get into the multiple driver IEM's.

    Lol
Not my mixes, I'm one of the judges. One of the kind judges who launched the challenge is sending some chili and pickle to play with. The mixes have been an eye opener for me honestly.

Yes audio gear is a deep rabbit hole with Summit-Fi headphones in the $4K-$5K range and common mans gear in the $1K - $2K range, then you need to add a DAC and AMP to that mix.

I am more on the Budget-Fi end of the spectrum though. ;)

The headphones I use regularly are a pair of Fostex T50RP (DBV3 Modification), German Maestro GMP 8.300 D Professional, beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro 250 Ohm on a Little Dot MK IV tube amp and a great bang for your buck pair of Koss Porta Pro Classic's.

I have a ton of older IEMs but use the Campfire Audio Orion's and a pair of Rock Jaw Kommand's every now and then. I am not really a fan of the single BA Orion's but they are fast and do sound good.

I can't keep up with the latest Chi-Fi offerings, but there are some great choices from KZ (Knowledge Zenith) like the KZ AS16 which is an 8BA per side IEM for $125 off KZ's store on Aliexpress or the CCA (Clear Concept Audio) C10 (1 Dynamic x 4 BA per side) for $40 on Amazon.

There are tons of them out there and they can add up quite quickly if you get bitten by the Chi-Fi IEM bug. ;)

    Good afternoon all...

I'm waiting on UPS to deliver the boots - hoping he gets here soon but depending on who is driving today the regular guy may drop the package off at my husband's work instead of coming here.. it's a pain not even knowing where my boots might go. But they are, according to tracking, on the truck!

Also needing to return said swimsuit for not being the correct fit ... :( So sad..
