Hello everyone! It's been awhile so probably no one remembers me. How is are all of you? As for me I've been struggling with my new leg for a while so been sort of depressed and not doing much. I finally got the fit corrected and it's great now so I almost feel I could run, lmao. Very almost .
Welcome back!

Happy to hear they got the fit corrected and that it's better for you.

Hang in there buddy!!! :)

Thanks, it's a short rope but I'm still hangin' in there. :p

It really was a PITA. I couldn't get into the socket (above knee amputation) properly so it was always feeling like it was falling off. It actually did a couple of times, luckily before I'd be out somewhere.

Thanks, it's nice to feel like I even want to socialize.
Glad you're back and seeing some improvement in your struggle! One thing about ECF and the Shinyitis crew - they are a safe and friendly haven in this life that's sometimes a total pain in the .... I'm really appreciating it myself right now.:thumb:

I know, and everyone's always been great here. Sadly the last time I came to the forums it was to discover one of my favorite people on ECF had passed away. Since I was already in a tailspin it just made everything darker, and rather than whine and moan here I withdrew back into my shell again. I have a nice little room all decked out for a pity party in there so I don't annoy others o_O. Actually I have my furry buddy who is my unofficial mental health support pooch (see my avatar).

Your dog looks like a blast and a ton of fun to me! My dog and cats are my official support in everything I do .. they are always there no matter what goes on in life. Something to be said for that. Funny, at my desk I am surrounded by dog toys half moon style around my chair. She brings them, I toss them, she brings them back, it never ends. I stand up and a toy squeaks, its funny.

She's 12 lbs of tons of unconditional love. She's snuggled up to my stump right now lol. She's always been a great dog but seems to have lost her play instinct since we lost both her mom and dad last year. She's bubbly and bouncy but no longer chases toys, although we have a game we play where i growl "gonna get the puppy" and she bounds around the room, jumps up on the couch, .... waggling like to say what's taking you so long to get over here old man :). Without her we wouldn't be conversing, I'd be worm food.

You said it right there .. our pets and the unconditional love they bring each moment of every day .. is priceless. They're so funny and do so many goofy things. I am always chuckling from something one of them is doing or has done. My dog chases one of my cats around the house constantly but at night they sleep cuddling together. Priceless! My other cat unwound a whole roll of toilet paper earlier today. What could I do but laugh. I mean, come on. Right?

Too true @Bruce C. Sometimes in life, it is our furry friends who make getting up in the morning worth it

The very code I live by lol. Last year was very hard on us. It may have been a lot of work for a one legged old goat to care for three dogs, and hide two of them from the landlords and fellow tenants, but worth every ounce of effort. We lost Merlynn, her dad, April 22. He was bouncing around the apartment looking like his old self after just clearing up a mild upper respiratory infection, jumped in my lap, which he never did, sat there for 20 minutes and just droped dead in my lap. I freaked big time. Then the Sunday before Thanksgiving Peanutt, Destiny's mom, went to bed with us curled in my belly like usual. When I woke up she was still warm as toast so I thought nothing of it. I reached out asking her if she was ready for breakfast and her dead body lolled over. She must have passed just before I woke up. They were 14 and 17, each just 1 month from their next birthday.

morning all.
my replacement mod battle with vsticking got stuck for a month as they seemed to have forgotten about me. i persisted. they wanted a video of the screen still being on when the mod is switched off (in addition to the picture, screen grab and original invoice I'd already sent them). video now sent.
my side piece clone that was to ship in 3 business days has now slipped to 10 business days. textbook FT.

Not a bad thing as I'm layed up with.a knackered spine.
    Keep me out of trouble.

Knackered spines suck monkey balls - hang in there and also have fun playing with your new toys

Adorable...sheep in poodle clothing or vice versa.

Sheepdoggo is just too cool for words - I want one

Horribly sad they died, but how lovely that they had easy deaths. We should all be so lucky.

So, so important to be confortable with your prosthetic. It's amazing how your body can find ways of doing stuff in different ways than before.

    Lot's of friendliness here :)
