Good morning everyone![]()
Now 28 degrees is more like it.....summer begins![]()
Yep...so when are you guys going to go decimal....it's much easier to work withGood morning shiners! Not much going on here other than routine maintenance to keep me occupied.
I sure hope that Celsius.

It was for me too and if I were more into fiddly stuff at this point in time I might carry on with it. I do not want to play with orings anymore. I do not want to fiddle. I just could not get the oring to lay straight and not buckle and a leak is a huge mess, I had to take it apart and clean inside. Just me probably and others might be able to do better then me.the lure of the BB is still strong for me
I went through this too. Everyone I did reach wanted year round contract even though in Georgia grass is dormant in the winter. I had a rider so I just plugged through doing it myself. A few years ago I was still enjoying it too but not last year. Just became too hard and took me all week with many breaks in between. Thankfully I am out of that house with the pool and could not be happier. I considered having the pool filled in but it was almost as much money to truck in dirt as it was to build it in the first place. I sold the home while the pool and lawn had value so I did not have to hassle maintenance anymore. Have you considered doing that? It was hard for me because of the sentimental attachment but it was hard to manage and keep it all up solo. Foot loose and fancy free is pretty darn niceThe first year after my husband died, my nephew mowed for me. But he’s grown, got a full time job. Every year, I call every company I can find and have not been able to get anyone to even call me back.
I hire out the open/close of the pool, and hire a gardener for the flower beds, but I’m stuck with the lawn.
On my way to the DR. I stepped wrong yesterday and pulled something in my leg. I mean GAWWWH, you cannot even step wrong once you hit 60 or you practically shatter. Getting old and feeling it in Georgia.
Awwh, come on Chanelvaps was it really that bad? It's a shame because i can't believe it was something you did. I must have rebuilt my vapeshell about 4 times and the glass comes off and on three times a day and i've never had any of the things you did.It was for me too and if I were more into fiddly stuff at this point in time I might carry on with it. Yes mine too...look at this debacle.....Howdy shiners! Nothing new delivered yet. My FT order is doing cartwheels thru the china mail system, hopefully it arrives before the end of the month.![]()

Metric I can do. Celsius not so much.
Oh, and km/hr speed limits are not even on the agenda. I mean 100 is 100, right? Who has time to do the conversion math when you're cruising along?
In the mean time...

No, temperature is difficult, but the funny thing with me is when the UK went metric I was doing a lot of things still in the old way but in building it was so much easier to use decimal so I forced myself and got used to it. I also used to do all my temp in Fahrenheit too but once I got used to it celsius was fine.
It's not a case of conversion it just is...if that makes sense. I know that 31 degree's is getting too hot and 21 is the minimum for feeling confortable. Then when I moved to France all the speed limits were in KMH and now that's the same also...
Bottom line once we relate the new number to the real world, conversion is just not a thing![]()
