I’ll take a couple of photos for you tomorrow. Have you used it?
Thanks, looking forward to it! I have used it briefly. I was intimidated by the structure but was surprised by how well the atty works. I generally use fairly large coils, but usually prefer 3 - 3.5 mm coils max.

Those ids are pretty much the majority of my coil building. Sometimes 2.5 and other atties 4.0 id

Not s shiny post, per se, but considering ideas for mod makeovers (re-shiny so to speak).

I'm thinking that an acrylic pour (or dip) might be nice for boring panels on mods (thinking of my red Inbox) ... to that end, I got some cheap acrylic paints and some gloss medium to experiment on 6" x 7.5" dollar store "canvas" panels --- here's a first experimental pour just to start to get a feel for it:

There's a few other items I need to do things right, and a fair bit of experimenting to go, but I think it shows promise. The next experiment will be an acrylic dip (which I think might be a better way to go for the smaller size of mod panels).
This is great... Interesting. I've got 6 panels for my inbox and don't like any of them much... Bit too long in the tooth for skulls and mystical dragons

Let us know how the dip and gloss goes.... For me it would have to be a glass finish... I'm thinking resins actually....

Let us know how you get on throwing tins of paint against the wall.... Just a tip... Wait until your wife goes out:pervy:

Those 25r's are a great all around mod battery. I have almost a dozen. After a year, they all still charge well, and hold a charge.
exactly. £3.79 each with 20% off. fogstar are also now providing a resource section which provides wraps and insulators...for free. only postage has to be paid. as they say it's not to be abused but my hat is off to them for doing it. encouraging safety.
should be getting my druga foxy today and a new pair of slightly rebellious trainers/sneakers for my recently developed corporate office look. i don't miss my beard.
morning all.

Thanks @Tralfaz for the heads up on the coupon & advice.

Thanks @DeloresRose & @Tinker Ray ! I wasn’t sure about using it as a single coil as I’ve heard it was more suited for big 4mm I.d. Plus coils with lots of power. I mostly like .30 ish ohms & 30ish watts.

@Tralfaz - okay, on the Arkansas website it says RDA 23mm and RDA 25mm in the description for the Axial:

DESCRIPTION

RDA: 23mm

RDA: 25mm

do you get two bases when you buy this? which size is what you actually get?

I'm not seeing a choice for size..

Can you squonk with it? or is that feature only available with the unicorn?

It’s a 23mm rda but comes with a beauty ring that makes it a 25mm. Yes it comes with a squonk pin.

I’m still trying to decide if it’s for me. Looks killer & everyone loves its quality & with the sale its as cheap as chips. I’m not really into 60-70 watts as that’s how I see people using it.

We can build 3mm (to 3.5mm) ID coils and still stay within the restricted lung airflow category.. it's the airflow overall that it's good to know..

I guess basically for 20 dollars it's one of those things that if you find it's too airy you can always list for sale in the classy's..

you won't lose out that way..

but I almost think trying it is about the only way to find out if it's any good for RL vaping.

it does say we can close off one of the airflows for single coil use.. so it has promise.

Really love this....and lovely to see. The nearest I get to that is one of the first IPV's by pioneer 4 you.

It's not as funky as that though :)
