If you have a Black Bear Diner near you, their boysenberry milkshakes are amazing.

Do like fresh boysenberries fresh off the bramble all alone :thumb:... don't know if in a shake though. I live about 2 miles from a BBD but have never paid any attention to it (I don't frequent restaurants anymore). The building doesn't look like its got a drive thru, but I might keep it in mind for a look-see if I get in that neighborhood again on an errand.

I really like Black Bear Diner. Everything I have tried from there has been good. You can probably get your food to go. Also. Blueberry Hill has really stepped up their game lately. Went to the one on Decatur recently and was quite pleasantly surprised.

You should sell desktop wallpapers for computers. :thumb:

    I don't sell anything.

Most people driving through a desert just see a wasteland. They 'can't see the forest for the trees', at 75MPH don't realize a desert is one of the most species rich places on earth with many diverse habitats and endless geographical features. If they'd park the shiny and venture out into a desert they would be amazed at the diversity of it denizens and the raw beauty of the landscape itself. A true desert like the Mojave is a harsh place though... and it is survival of the fittest out there. So don't venture too far unless you have prepared ahead correctly for it's pitfalls.

My MIL lives out in Pahrump, and she took my son out to Ash Meadows by Amargosa. I have never been there but she texted me pics and it looks really nice out there.

I was looking at the Ammit RDA. Seems they have an MTL version that takes a single coil and a double coil one which is designed for DL. I just got my first RDA recently and thought I might try another one. I got those Royal Hunters for 75c on clearance, they are pretty ancient. Fun though.
Fasttech contacted me a few days ago to say that the Ammit RDA wouldn't be shipping for a while. I told them I didn't mind waiting for, say, a month. When/if it arrives, I'll report back. In the meantime, I've got plenty of others to fool around with.

 OK did it gurgle a bit or seep a bit from the airflow hole or dump a tank out the airflow hole?

If it's gurgling, it may need an o'ring changed. Otherwise, more cotton through the coil (I twist mine to get it in there) may help. Here's my very first build - it sucked monkey balls, it's horrible to look at, but vaped fine by some miracle

It seeped from the air hole when the ProVari was on its side. It's been fine since I started sticking it upright in a jar.

I'm hoping to rewick it tomorrow. It's nice having confirmation that my guess that more cotton was in order was a good one. I thought my wick looked stingy compared to those pictures you posted yesterday. It's just so hard to jam a ton of cotton through a 2.5mm coil (I can't imagine stuffing enough through a 2mm coil, though I read a post by someone today who said that's what he uses).

I need to rewick the Ammit RTA, too. Pretty sure it needs more cotton as well.

The Galaxies, I'm happy to say, is working just fine. I flooded the deck a couple of times by pumping the Pumper too enthusiastically, but since I settled down all has been well.

All in all, I'm pretty pleased with my progress.

What works well for me is to roll the cotton between the fingers before fitting it (the harder it gets the better) until its more or less the size of the coil. Then feed the pointed cotton until you can grab it. Then screw it into the coil while holding both sides of the cotton kinda tightly. Don't pull it..screw it like you're screwing a bolt into a nut. When its gone through enough just hold the two sides and make an unscrew movement to settle and straighten the outer sides of the cotton.
The harder and tighter a cotton is inside a coil, the less it spatters.

So it doesn't always matter if the cotton doesn't move relatively freely back and forth? I felt some resistance when I was settling the wick, but it did move fairly easily.

The ammit RDA MTL version is a great vape....stellar flavour and true mtl if that's what floats your boat :) It was actually the first MTL RDA I had tried and I loved it even though it was a completely different vape than the one that I was used to......my advice? Get one :D
