The pasito RBA landed today.
Still waiting on the pod kit. I couldn't resist to put a build into it. WoW its tiny.
Smallest rba i've ever dealt with. I went for a 2mm coil to start off with.
Then dropped it on a mod and gave it a whirl....only had the o rings, as the drip tip comes with the kit.
Not to bad, but it needs some tweeking once all the parts are here.

Some would pay more, others would balk at the extra weight. I’m betting on a guitar forum it would be debated much like mods are, here. Some would have issues with one component or another - neck is too thick or too thin, Love or hate the pick ups or bridge...
I used to debate like that back when I knew a thing or two. I’ve been out of the music loop too long now. I have no idea what’s what in guitars anymore. You do beautiful work though.
I’ve been considering the Recurve dual since I like the single so much. I could use a good dual. How do you like it?

The pickups are by GFS. The "Alnico Fatbody" set. Love the oversized pole pieces--they pick up a lot of string presence. The bridge pickup is wound to 8K, the neck to 5.5K. The bridge pickup is amazingly clear for a hot alnico, almost like a ceramic. The neck pickup retains that twang that so many of us want and need from a tele neck.

The pickups look good, fat sound with those lumps of metal in there I expect. I'm waaaay out of date with what's available, they do quick swop pickups "Kwikplug"? Yes gods ...

I gotta admit, I wouldn’t mind owning one of your creations myself. And it has been a long time since I bought a guitar. Really, there are two reasons I don’t hoard them, space being number one, but I don’t play that often either. Seems sad to just let them sit like that but I’ve just been so overwhelmed keeping up on stuff I have to do. My house and property are a lot of work doing it solo.

Otherwise all the boring same, except for the blackout in NY Sunday night which fortunately didn't affect where I am. Good thing I moved over a year ago. Woke to discover I'd won an ebay auction: I was the only bidder on a supposedly original, supposedly only used for two weeks Kayfun v4. Got it for $50, shipped. Now I wait to see whether it's the real thing. I fully expect to have been screwed.

As long as you get the seller, you should do okay. I’ve only gotten one bogus item in 20 years, a pair of knock off Converse. For $5 I wasn’t upset though, I rather expected I’d get phonies, and they’re not all that bad really.
Found out this morning that I had won the Usonicig Sky kit....I haven't been entering competitions of late because i've either already got the item for review or I don't feel worthy......this one was really interesting so I really wanted to try it......it works by vaporising liquid with ultrasonic waves

Nice mellow morning here. Forgot to take a pic of the baby ness but so far I'm liking it but do wish the fire button protruded just a bit more. Comfortable thumb fire using the knuckle, takes a spell to find a sweet spot for finger fire. Going to spend more time with it before deciding if I want a couple more. Hand feel is rather nice and liking the weight and finish quite a bit as well.
