But good news, I got a tracking update on the Rosefinches, they’re in the states and could be here by the end of the week.

Power outage here, ugh! Raining too double ugh!! It’s bad might take a few days to get power back. New Jersey.

We have a generator but hubs is at work. Going to have to throw out all the food in fridge & freezer.

At least some of the frozen stuff should be okay for a day or two. Just don't open the freezer. Maybe throw a blanket or two over it.

Well a very late day today....good evening shinies. Still like an oven here so doing as little as possible. I got my nic delivery from Hiliq china yesterday and put it straight in the freezer. It had a tinge of yellow but I expect that is because of the heat at this time of year coming all that way although it was FedEx so it only took from Friday to Monday. I haven't tried it yet or even opened it but I expect it is fine....i'll try it when I feel better.

Still got this food poisoning...it's been 6 days now....sheesh

Six days! That's extreme. Might want to consider this "basic oral rehydration therapy solution": "6 level teaspoons (25.2 grams) of sugar and 0.5 teaspoon (2.9 grams) of salt in 1 litre of water."

You know me too well had a spare pair of coil master flush cutters that came with a 'backup' coil master mini kit I bought (due to shinyitis) a few months ago

Nooo, don't throw it out yet. As long as you keep the doors of the fridge closed throughout, the insulation should keep your stuff safe for up to 18 hours. Not sure if it's been over that yet, but if not hang in. Maybe you'll get the generator going later if you're still without power and running the fridge for a few hours on that will return all to cold and able to handle another few hours if you still lack power.

NJ got hit bad. Plenty of rain in NY but no major failures but some smaller scattered ones. The streets around my daughter in Brooklyn required hip waders if you wanted to stay dry. Most has drained off by now.

Hey folks,

I just heard from @Vape Muppet and his Dad is still in the hospital. Fifth week now. He has a new doctor who is more on the ball. They are going to try some things before resorting to anything drastic. He, his Mom and Dad are hanging in there best as possible. Stressful for all. Plus he has much on his plate right now. He asked that I bring everyone up to date.

Also says "Hi" to everyone...

My last ft package showed that for 11 days then showed up in the US but couldn't track down where, showed in Ohio last night. USPS has taken my last few orders on sightseeing trips, shame as they had been doing very well for me until here lately. Still only adds a couple more days to arrive so could be worse.

If it goes through Columbus, it’s going to take the scenic route, for sure. I think one of the Stargates is there, and the mail could end up anywhere.

Hey all, happy TubeModTuesday. I'm trying some more new juice today.

This is a pretty decent pink cotton candy flavor. Just the right amount of sweetness with a little tart and creaminess to offset it. Not bad.

So I have been trying to get a certain mod for well over a year, it's the sva Kimberly. For the most part it's a Facebook aquire from sva and I tried twice . I then seen it on a high end vendors site and was ready to put in cart, but noticed it was sold out, dam....also been combing certain FB sell/trade sites, but none has ever came up.....so I said, just forget about it and perhaps in another year one will come around.....so last week i decided to buy another stratum, but this one is a stab and its beautiful!! Its being shipped from Russia, so it's going to be a couple weeks. The day after I ordered the strat, I decided to check out that vendors site for the umpteenth time and wouldn't you know, they had Kimberly stock . I just couldn't do it (couldn't justify spending almost a grand in a couple days on mods) and I feel I lost my only chance for a Kimberly .......my shinyitus is real and I am bummed....

I was reading about your area. You really got smacked hard. I hope you can get the generator working, it sounds like you'll need it. I went through 2 1/2 weeks with Sandy, and no power for that long is really painful. Good luck and I hope it doesn't take that long.

@ShowMeTwice, those cutters were the best balance between price and quality.

I bought some of their hex drivers a while back and they aren't too bad, they have a little flex in them but most importantly they do work and didn't cost a fortune.
