Thank you...I hope so tooHere’s hoping you’re out of the woods.
I was up at 4:30 again today, which has been working pretty well for me this week. I’m able to coffee up and get my vape situated for the day, and still get some outside work done before it’s too hot. It’s only been up to 80 this week which is lovely to just sit, but a bit hot for physical labor.

Wow! Such a classic. <3Origin Little
Yeah, it’s so good. Really hard to oversquonk and when you do the liquid doesn’t come pouring out of the af intake and there’s no gurgling. I have had zero leakage. The design is so good. Love the 2x 0.8mm af insert. Easier to cool a larger surface, great with MTL fused claptons.first true mtl rda
Got you in my thoughts mate. In fact I thought of you when the tour went through your territoryI think (fingers crossed) I'm starting to feel better on the 8th day. This has been the worst bout of anything I have ever experienced so I'm not holding my breath just yet![]()
True. There’s trade offs to everywhere a body can live, I suppose. I get light traffic and almost zero crime, but I gotta sweat for it, lol.Good morning shiners! At least it's become bearable to be outside the last few days. @DeloresRose while caring for a lawn is a lot of work, believe me, during a heat wave having a concrete yard is not very helpful to your comfort. A concrete sidewalk can heat up to 160 degrees in the kind of weather we had in NY, and it radiates back all that heat through the night which keeps temps well above what they could have been.
Happy almost Friday, everyone. No shiny for me today but I do have a first to report. Not sure why this has never happened to me before but I broke the bubble glass on my Zeus yesterday. I took my eye off it for a few seconds and the damned thing rolled off the table. I fished around in the box thinking maybe by some miracle there would be a spare but nope. The straight glass looks OK but it's also another reason not to use the tank. Womp womp.
In actual shiny news, I'm on the hunt for a matte black Unicorn Vert mech. Also, Godmod Russia just released a copper version of the Overlord. Black on copper is my jam but I already have black on brass. Might be time to pull the trigger on one of the other color combos.

Bogan posted this last month and I thought it looked pretty nice. Maybe I could get something like it in copper.
Also, AR has Axials and the PEI caps on sale again. Not as good as the last sale but it's something.

I'm so glad you brought her home. I wish she could stay with you, but at least she already knows and loves the man you are going to return her to. Nine indoor cats is an awful lot, and I will worry about her, but no matter what she'll be way better off there than cowering in a Petco window.I have zero shiny to show but I hear my Double Barrel is on this continent.
View attachment 828545 Look who is home. I do not know what the future holds but I could only leave her at Petco for so long. She just does not do well with strangers. I am pretty sure I am going to give her back to the guy at the trailer park that has taken care of her and her siblings and their mom (plus another 25ish cats). He visited her several times at Petco and he loves her. And she him. He promises to keep her inside. My only qualm is he has about 8 other inside cats and is on a low income and I worry about what kind of care she will really get. Maybe it will be alright. I will just guarantee vet visits for her or something to that effect.

We had a week of that, no thanks! Usually it doesn’t get that hot, or if it does it’s not for long, and usually there’s a dry spell. This year we are 3 months ahead for rainfall. Grass loved the heat plus rain and the parts I can’t hit with the rider have gone ten days since last mow, and that’s about 18” high right now. So it’s gonna be a battle.
I will never buy another house that either hasn’t had the lawn concreted over, or where I can’t have a pony.
Who was the ding dong who came up with grass lawns, anyway?
