Yes it's the only way to do anything in the heat....get up early do stuff until it starts to get hot and then it's siesta time. My Tunisian building team started at 6 and then come 12 they would eat quickly and then fall asleep for an hour and a half before getting back to it. I didn't know how they could just go to sleep like that on site.
We had a week of that, no thanks! Usually it doesn’t get that hot, or if it does it’s not for long, and usually there’s a dry spell. This year we are 3 months ahead for rainfall. Grass loved the heat plus rain and the parts I can’t hit with the rider have gone ten days since last mow, and that’s about 18” high right now. So it’s gonna be a battle.
I will never buy another house that either hasn’t had the lawn concreted over, or where I can’t have a pony.

Yeah, it’s so good. Really hard to oversquonk and when you do the liquid doesn’t come pouring out of the af intake and there’s no gurgling. I have had zero leakage. The design is so good. Love the 2x 0.8mm af insert. Easier to cool a larger surface, great with MTL fused claptons.
I was so enthusiastic about the Berserker MTL RDA, but after a while I noticed the af inserts were kinda iffy and leaked air like crazy. So, I’m really glad I tried my luck with the Etna. Bought two blue ones (by accident, supposed to be black and blue) in a clearance sale, $12 for both. Just got a black one and have a SS one on the way.

At least it's become bearable to be outside the last few days. @DeloresRose while caring for a lawn is a lot of work, believe me, during a heat wave having a concrete yard is not very helpful to your comfort. A concrete sidewalk can heat up to 160 degrees in the kind of weather we had in NY, and it radiates back all that heat through the night which keeps temps well above what they could have been.

Even EU are breaking temp records this week, Paris is bad enough normally for summer heat. I think they are over 40C now.
In the SE of UK records have been broken too, near 40C. The railways will likely stop soon as it's "the wrong kind of heat". For those not in UK that refers to a statement a train company made about leaves on the line stopping trains "it was the wrong kind of leaves"

Happy almost Friday, everyone. No shiny for me today but I do have a first to report. Not sure why this has never happened to me before but I broke the bubble glass on my Zeus yesterday. I took my eye off it for a few seconds and the damned thing rolled off the table. I fished around in the box thinking maybe by some miracle there would be a spare but nope. The straight glass looks OK but it's also another reason not to use the tank. Womp womp.
In actual shiny news, I'm on the hunt for a matte black Unicorn Vert mech. Also, Godmod Russia just released a copper version of the Overlord. Black on copper is my jam but I already have black on brass. Might be time to pull the trigger on one of the other color combos.

Also, AR has Axials and the PEI caps on sale again. Not as good as the last sale but it's something.

I’m very happy with the axial and PEI cap. I think I used the OG cap for a day, I hardly remember it, but I know I was happier with the other one. I got the trinity cap too, haven’t used it yet. Looks really cool though. Maybe I’ll do that today, I deserve a treat.
I also got the unicorn but I haven’t goofed with that much at all. Right now, I am finding I prefer single coils, but I’m fickle and that’s not going to last.
I'm so glad you brought her home. I wish she could stay with you, but at least she already knows and loves the man you are going to return her to. Nine indoor cats is an awful lot, and I will worry about her, but no matter what she'll be way better off there than cowering in a Petco window.
