I ordered a second (about time) Colossal today :D

There is one vendor in NZ that stocks Asmodus products. I've been checking their site for 9 months hoping to see Colossals back in stock (or Lunas, or Pumpers). Today they finally had some :w00t: and even better they were only $50US incl shipping.

Tossed up between black or pink all morning. Figured since I am a tough farm chick and all, the best option was PINK ;)

I have been SO slack with getting more - plus I kept buying squonk mods, and RDAs, and RTAs

But the Project X rta demanded a Colossal, and I finally listened ;)

ProVape would have had that information filed away I'd bet. But with them long gone who knows if the company files were saved or where they are. In 2013 and early 2014 I ran the Provari forums with the most knowledgeable Provari customers on ECF daily, but I don't remember any of them having the ability to determine an exact production date of their mods by serial number. Some of them had some detailed specifics about some of them, but AFAIK none of them had put together a comprehensive data base. I have not seen any of those folks on ECF since I came back to it. I also had an 'in' at ProVape, someone who knew more about the company and it's inner works than any of us. We talked often, but he never mentioned having access to that information either.

IOW I knew of no one outside of the company with access to their files or that had a data base like one of mine for another company I can relate. So I doubt you will ever come up with its MFG date.

FWIW, in a couple of other interest specific manufacturers forums I ran for many years I was 'the' Guru of those forums because I had done business with the highlighted company from their birth in he 1960's, owned more of their products than anyone else, had used them longer than anyone else, knew the powers to be there personally, talked to them all the time and attended some trade shows with them.... and I had built a data base of the exact specs of the models they made as they came out from day one and what/when if they were changed over the years... and the serial number ranges a of each model by which quarter of each year they were made. A plant fire destroyed most of the company records in the 1990's, so I had the only surviving complete data base of that company after that up to when I stopped adding to it when the company was sold to a giant (who wanted their manufacturing patents) that I wouldn't do business with. There is another similar company I assembled the most complete data base for as well, but that data base is only a shadow of that other massive one I have.
You're a mind of information Spydro. I wonder how many of the other officianado are still around forum wise. I expect a lot of them would enjoy helping the "new collectors" with their questions... There must be be a mine of information out there.

I was pm'd by an original provarati on here so I think that some of the originals do still keep up with the forum.... I hope so because a forum's only as good as the knowledge of it's members...

Have a great day Spydro :)

Pretty impressed with fuu as a vendor, my order is already in Missouri. DHL is pretty much worth the added expense in my experience.
Yes, that seems to be the norm in france generally. The wholesaler I use only does next day shipping and it's always 10 euros :)

Yep, that's me, still THAT kid just a body that's aged and an improved version. V0.00006, me.
But yeah, no change ... oh wait, yes there is ... the TOYS got bigger and better!!!
    And pricier.
That's half the battle keeping hold of that innocent wonder and sense of fun... Lest it be beaten out of you by the grown up world.

Does anyone here have the dl version? I’ve looked at it a couple times, can’t decide if I like it or not. FT has clones, I might snag one.
I've got one but haven't built it yet. I think I got a single coil deck replacement too. It's difficult to remember as I've got so many new atties to build.

If no one else steps up I'll let you you know how it is when I've got to it. I know that the OG is superb.

Hope that helps a bit :)

A couple Augvape Merlin Nano RTAs (18mm) arrived (and a selection of silicone orings):

Will have to try one of these out when I get back later.
I'd be really interested as to how these vape. It would be nice to have a small ID atty to fit on the Provari. Although I've got they beauty ring I think they would look nice.

    Good morning shinies :)

@DeloresRose I hope that your Mum has improved overnight and things are settling down. There is always a way through :)

Somehow shiny items are less important until your Mum feels a bit better... Sending love and hugs and sleepy vibes when needed

Good morning shiners! Need to do some banking stuff today, which may or may not be more fun than grocery shopping. I'd rather be skimming FT.

@DeloresRose So sorry to hear about your mom being ill and what you had to deal with, but I'm happy to hear she responded to antibiotics and was able to go back to her nursing home.

@DeloresRose I hope you got some rest last night & that your mom is resting well!

If you want one with a logo. Here is the link to my last Dvarw DL rta from 2fdeal.com Lysen Vazzling Dvarw V2 Style 24mm DL RTA Atomizer - Silver

The ones at FT don’t have logos anymore for the DL version. I spoke with FT about that after I received my 2nd from them. The 1st one from FT had a logo but the 2nd ordered 3 mos. later did not, same sku. I suggested FT put that in their description & to their credit they did.

If you enjoy Restricted DL you will love it. Only caveat is with my 3 clones. You can easily use 24g wire or Fused Clapton’s that are advertised as MTL. Like the ones @AngeNZ posted about. They are thinner. The screws on the clones are small so it is very difficult to trap thicker standard Clapton’s. @Letitia I believe can attest to that.

They are a little tall but hold 6ml of ejuice & bottom fill only unless you buy separately the top fill (which I did @FT but the one I received doesn’t screw on perfectly). Bottom fill seems a step back but it doesn’t bother me as 6ml is a lot of capacity.

The tanks are PMMA or PEI so if you use tank cracker juices like lemon people have been sourcing glass tanks for them. But I haven’t had any issues with tank cracking from Lemon Ejuices.

Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, I’m here :)

woke up to vape one of my rigs last night and smelled something a miss. As soon as I picked up one very hot mod i knew. My Asmodus with aromamizer was self firing. I am not blaming it on any of the brands. More then likely juice was dripped onto the mod buttons. I had been in the hospital with this baby for three days and it was being daily driven. The smell made me want to go sleep outside

Just where did all this Like, Agree and all that even start? Was it FB? I mean does anyone really care?
It has to be FB cause I remember my niece going off about likes and non-likes and this and that.
She lives her life on FB ... not for me. Although I'm not into social media anything. I prefer real everything.
Hmmm, I do use my wife's FB to look at the Atmizoo group thing that @NolaMel told me about and Taz plopped me into. That's about it. Rant over, sorry. ;)

I need the Dopamine hit when I get a like, share some Dopamine it's cheaper than beer!

Oof. Sorry to hear it. An autofiring mod is a very upsetting event. I'm glad you were at least able to catch it before something really bad happened.

If you haven't found these yet, there is lots of good stuff to be found. The Provape forum is closed to new posting, but you can still learn a lot about Provape products.

    goodbye
    Good morning my Shiny friends!

Hope everyone is having a great day. @DoloresRose I hope your mom is doing better this morning. You and your mom are constantly in my thoughts.

I am really happy with my Dead Rabbit RDA. I like both the Phobia and Dead Rabbit, but leaning toward the Dead Rabbit as my favorite of the two. Now I just need a squonk box mod. That will come next week. Can't wait:w00t:

I hope everyone has a bright shiny day

    goodbye
Nice video Rob. Very cool and thanks. I was like that with my first RDA vape with the "ohhh" and "ahhhh". Awesome!!! :D Are you using it in TC mode with your mod?

Now you gotta get yourself some squonkers. ;) There sure are a ton of excellent current deals we can all point you towards. Many of us purchased the recent ones posted. Be warned, once you start down the squonking hole ... it gets deep quick.

Thanks SMT. I am using my RDA's in power wattage mode. Is there an advantage to the TC mode? Maybe one of ya'll fine shiny people can educate me, and set me in the right direction. I am always open to improving my vaping experience. Falling down the rabbit hole is one thing, but I want to avoid as many of the rough edges and bumps along the way as possible.

I am getting a squonker next week at a local shop for cheap. I know it's not the best or newest, but it will get me started. Local, cheap($22.00), and will give me another RDA:w00t:
