Thanks SMT. I am using my rda's in power wattage mode. Is there an advantage to the TC mode? Maybe one of ya'll fine shiny people can educate me, and set me in the right direction. I am always open to improving my vaping experience. Falling down the rabbit hole is one thing, but I want to avoid as many of the rough edges along the way as possible.View attachment 835287

I am getting a squonker next week at a local shop for cheap. I know it's not the best or newest, but it will get me started. Local, cheap($22.00), and will give me another rda:w00t:

I like TC for a few reasons. Not the least of which is battery life. Throttling power after a second or two can do that.
Not singeing the wick has saved some hassle, I admit, once or twice... ;)
And sometimes, I feel the need to vape off modern art looking coils... 200w is useful, but not for long... And without TC, that would get HOT very quickly after a puff or two.

YMMV, of course.

You are aware that the Druga is a single cell mechanical mod. You will have to build in accordance to your batteries current rating, its a whole different world than regulated. I'd seek out a regulated squonker instead, so much easier to build for and enjoy IMHO.

And never ever use one of your blister pack coil tanks on the Druga.

I dug out the Minikin V2 & Supreme V2 for a run today, it's been sitting in the cupboard for a while and I almost forgot how great the vape is off this rig. ;)

Thank you TrollDragon! Yeah, I've been thinking about whether I will get the Druga or not. I have been using 18650's and other Lithium Ion batteries for about 15 years now on my high end LED flashlights, so I am familiar with battery safety and oHm's law. I would much prefer a regulated squonker for sure. Maybe I will wait, becuase I have plenty of mods I can drip with for now. Watching all you Shiny's here is just soooo compelling and fun. :pop::drool:

PS. I am aware not to ever use the drop in coil tanks with a mech mod. Thank you for the reminder.

Ironically did find one single 18650 that tempted me the other day, luckily it was too shiny. I prefer stabs just oiled a touch. Cute funky little mod tho, some 60w on VaporDNA.
Did get in the famas mods, still getting to know it. Nice weight and hand feel. Battery door is either a touch janky or needs breaking in and feels a bit underpowered.

@DeloresRose I hope you got some rest last night & that your mom is resting well!

If you want one with a logo. Here is the link to my last Dvarw DL rta from 2fdeal.com Lysen Vazzling Dvarw V2 Style 24mm DL RTA Atomizer - Silver

The ones at FT don’t have logos anymore for the DL version. I spoke with FT about that after I received my 2nd from them. The 1st one from FT had a logo but the 2nd ordered 3 mos. later did not, same sku. I suggested FT put that in their description & to their credit they did.

If you enjoy Restricted DL you will love it. Only caveat is with my 3 clones. You can easily use 24g wire or Fused Clapton’s that are advertised as MTL. Like the ones @AngeNZ posted about. They are thinner. The screws on the clones are small so it is very difficult to trap thicker standard Clapton’s. @Letitia I believe can attest to that.

They are a little tall but hold 6ml of ejuice & bottom fill only unless you buy separately the top fill (which I did @FT but the one I received doesn’t screw on perfectly). Bottom fill seems a step back but it doesn’t bother me as 6ml is a lot of capacity.

The tanks are PMMA or PEI so if you use tank cracker juices like lemon people have been sourcing glass tanks for them. But I haven’t had any issues with tank cracking from Lemon Ejuices.

Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, I’m here :)
Oops....two of those just went into the vaping budget :D

If you haven't found these yet, there is lots of good stuff to be found. The Provape forum is closed to new posting, but you can still learn a lot about Provape products.

If you want to download any manuals, they are still here. The update server is gone, but the pdf's are still available for now.

The famas (gotta say I like calling it the fuu mod better).

Ultroner Victory 60W Box Mod | Vape Device, Vape Mod – VaporDNA

The Ultroner is awfully pretty. I know nothing about their regulated chip, and that's a fair amount of money on a regulated mod with an unknown chip. It might be great, I just don't know. But if it were the stabwood in a mech squonk configuration at that price, I'd be running the numbers right now. Then the chip is out of the equation and I know what I'm buying.

Sorry for the late reply, all that seems to be out there is this one.
    https://www.fasttech.com/products/3041/10008099/8816100

Some say the SR stands for ShenRay others say it's a Steam Tribe version, either way it's cheap enough to try out. ;)
Thanks! Don't know how I got the idea there were several different versions available.

I see it comes with a wide-bore drip tip. It's a 510, though, so I could switch it out for something more to my taste.

    Boy, is it tiny.

I'm not going to buy it, I'm not interested in paying the price for a finish I'm not fond of and very happy with 2x700 mods. It is pretty but doesn't check enough boxes for me personally.
