It's been so long since anything shiny has been bought around here that The Box is getting rusty and the spiders are moving in.

But I am done buying gear. So maybe I should spruce it up some and make it into a garden feature?

Wow! Stories like this make me so nervous. I had an auto fire event and fortunately I was there when it happened.

I am pretty sure this was operator failure. I was running an Aromamizer on it for days that needed rewicking and I know it was leaking. I was in the h ospital and flyinhg by ther seat of my pants. Mqassive stroke. See I can hardly type. I thinnk the mizer dripped on the buttons. I was just glad to have something to vape.

When we got to the nursing home this morning, mom was completely out of it. The aid said she had woken her up for a minute at breakfast, but mom wouldn’t eat at all, and fell right back to sleep.

My sister and I could not even get her to open her eyes. My brother and his wife got there later, and we all had a meeting with the heads of various departments about her care. And then my brother managed to wake her, but she wasn’t talking and didn’t seem to know we were there.

All the doctors and nurses were saying pneumonia generally makes dementia escalate like that. But there’s no telling if a person will bounce back with treatment or continue to decline. Let me tell ya, we were thinking the worst.

They gave her IV antibiotics last night at the hospital, but the home had to call a pharmacy to get the same thing. It just got there now, my sister just texted me.

But what she got at the hospital must’ve kicked in, and just at the time when her aid came in and asked if she wanted cake and ice cream. She heard that alright, and said YES! She got right up out of bed, with a little help, and we wheeled her to the cafeteria. She cleaned the plate! Still drowsy, but mostly understanding and responding.

I’ve never seen anything like it.

I mean I’m not delusional, I know we’re going to lose her. But not today.

hard times for sure and I am sorry. No one is eveer ready to say Good Bye to their mom. ((Hugs))

I'd be really interested as to how these vape. It would be nice to have a small ID atty to fit on the Provari. Although I've got they beauty ring I think they would look nice.

Well, it hasn't been but a day, but they are both vaping very well --- I've been experimenting with various small builds in the low 0.5-ish ohm area to use with LiFePO4 cells (small superfine clapton, twisted 27g kanthal, twisted 28g ni80, simple 24g kanthal, simple 26g ni80). Right now, a simple 26g ni80 at 0.55 ohms is pretty much instant on and vaping fine. I've been back and forth with the two smallest airflow inserts (1mm, 1.2mm) and right now I'm liking the smaller one (haven't tried the dual 1mm insert).

Thus far, two thumbs up from this MTL vaper.

Yep so am I. I have everything i'll ever need when it comes to gear. Been collecting ferociously for 21/2 years now, and I got to the stage that I have the best in vape quality it'll get for MTL, DL and squonking (for me at least). If something comes up that gives a slight better vape, i'll live with that.
I'm eyeing one last device and made my mind up eventually. My last buy will be the Pioneer4U IPV 3 Mini auto squonker kit. Got HIGH hopes on it

A trailer for the next episode of "UPS Wants My Pension Fund!" -

As I feared my name and address must be flagged on UPS system as the owner of a goldmine. A sample eRoll MAC kit from Joyetech is "held in our UK secure warehouse pending instructions and agreement.. blah blah" Our cryptographers have deciphered this message, it reads " Hit this man for £5.00 VAT and an UPS Brokerage fee of £35 everytime ... when he calls give him the runaround to take up at least an hour of his time, then make Brokerage dept unavailable to take his call"

I have already spoken to Joyetech as this happened last month too, they will now stop using UPS as other reviewers are starting to have the same problems so cannot review anymore. I spoke to Eleaf last month & they will do the same. Slow boat from China using China Post is the last resort for them now.

So you can UPS that's a lot of money right there, gone.


So we not only have those pending legislations and penalty tariffs in USA ready to hit Chinese manufacturers hard, we have money grabbing couriers adding another level of difficulty. I expect to see a lot of thinning out of Chinese vape manufacturers, not to mention the severe problems caused to you folks in the colonies 8(

I think I've said this before but I regularly get packages from the USA, China and Hong Kong and the only time I've had a charge was when I imported some nic.

I review too and it's never a problem.
