So I’ve been a longtime dicodes fan and a couple months ago I bought my danibox 21700 which I love, but I came across a Dani 25 for a really good price and I’m torn on whether I should buy it or not lol my favourite mods before dicodes we’re my beloved provaris so I have a huge urge to go back to a tube mod!

What do you guys think? Should I go for it or should I pretend I never saw that and blissfully enjoy the box

    I also got vapemail:

My Apex RDA finally arrived :D

It's a doddle to build and wick. And has the smoothest airflow out of any RBA I've tried - also amazing flavour :thumb: Vaping it side by side with the Hussar v1 RDA - the Hussar is a Jeep Grand Cherokee, while the Apex is a BMW M2.
Very nice Ange!!! Your Apex, purple DT + purple Squeeze = awesome!!!
It sure is a serious flavor banger.

The best tool for the job is a fiberglass pencil, so called beacause it has an extendable brush of fibres at one end. It will effectively clean off dirt, medium rust or corrosion etc. I use one extensively when repairing radios etc. It will not remove any metal or solder etc, that's the trick.

Make sure any fibreglass bits are fully removed before use ofc.

Hey, I just checked the tools I bought a while ago for maintaining my mechs, and I got one of those!

    goodbye
Anybody else like going back to their older mods now and then? These are my first two real mods and sub oHm tanks. I still enjoy the heck out of them. Rocking them tonight with some Custard Cookie.

I just ordered another Apex RDA from FT and a pink resin drip tip for the pink colossal. This matchymatchy rabbit hole is deep ;)

I have a single coil in my Luna, MTL Clapton 30*2+38 Ni80 wire. It comes out at 0.6 ohms and goes Very easy on the battery:D
@AngeNZ said she was using MTL Clapton wire in her Lovely Luna and it was Awesome, so I thought I better get my spool out and start wrapping! It's Awesome and my Luna is Very Yummy:p
That sounds like a good wire for the nano I was trying to get. I’d probably double that up and use it in my normal non-mtl atomizers. I like those high gauges, they have perfect response time. I’ve been using 28x3/36 lately and really like it.

Completely random. I tried man, I tried to go back to kanthal I really did but I think I’m sticking with Ni80. It’s just better. People are gonna say what they’re going to say but I say it’s better and I’m a trustworthy guy so there you go, it’s official.

I was tooling around and came across this. I don’t know why this but man that speaks to me. I really like this. One of ya’ll should give one of these a home so I can live vicariously through you, (Delores, I’m looking at you) I bet they work fantastic and I have really nothing to even base that assumption on. It’s so random but man. Check this out.

    Ultem Squonker Box V3 (18650, 20650)

It’s got to be the name, how is that $140, ON SALE? There’s no way ultem costs that much to manufacture. I keep talking myself up in small increments. Last thing was the Lost Vape Drone, now it’s this. That V3 would last forever though.... so it’s worth it.

Is ultem durable? How resistant to snapping would a piece of ultem be that’s shaped like the door for that?

Sorry, I don’t mean to be writing books when I post. I’ll calm down.:2cool:

I know I’ll end up going for it, it’s just hard to justify it having so many mods lol it’s a really good price so I know I’d regret it eventually

Why us Shiny folks will definitely help you justify the purchase of a nice Dani;)
Do you have a Luna yet by the way?

so, now i have 1 vapeshell, 3 insiders, 1 exocet, 1 north bridge, 1 set of transparent panels and 5 borro tanks.
sadly no working billet box which is pretty vital in this situation.
FT haven't replied to my report of missing replacement as of yet.
energy levels for such things are pretty much spent and i'm managing to bore myself.

You can pick up a P3 today for 150..

I just checked the silver was sold last night, but they still have the zombie and the tiffany blue.

ProVari P3 Zombie – Central Iowa Vapor

But there are mechs to consider too as contenders in the tube mod department..

In short, buy what's going to work best for you..

That’s the same color I want to get. I hope it works well for you.:thumb:

So, I got a Switcher LE for $23 and it had a jacked up 510. Got in touch with the people who sold it to me and they want $10 to ship me another one from Hong Kong, I suppose that’s fair, whatevs. So I’ll have that in a month or so.

Shopping squonk friendly rdas. I really don’t know whether to wait for Halloween/Thanksgiving sales or not.

Oh hey I’ve been pondering on the Luna but the one 18650 concerns me. What kind of builds do ya’ll run on your Lunas? I’m guessing mostly single coils?

Yes, singles. I’m only really proficient with 26 gauge Clapton, but I’m practicing with 28 so I can get less mass. Even so, I can get pretty good life on a Luna. AsMODus does that very well. I can absolutely get a whole day with a Colossal, almost a day with a Luna. Now, I do use a few mods every day, but when a Luna is one of them, I use it at least 75% time. If it was the only one I used, I expect it would start to fall off in the evening. I can run about half a squonk bottle before swapping batteries.

Ooh that’s nice! I agree though, a little pricey. I have the ultem Drone, and so far, it’s tough enough for me. I can’t speak for how sturdy it would be for others, as mine is a house mouse. I got that for $115 I think and it’s DNA 250C, so it’s hard to figure why this one is $150.

Good afternoon shiny people on this slow shiny day..

So, I have 30ml of my homemade HHV crackberry clone eliquid all made up for my Luna and the KRMA with a fresh clean coil all set..

I have a 15ml bottle set with the needle tip bottle of the SadBoy Shamrock cookie and a fresh coil in the Z-Biip..

I have a 15 ml bottle of some pear ejuice for the Gear RTA which is freshly wicked sitting atop my UWELL Crown Mod..

And I have a 30 ml bottle of some lovely cinnamon roll for my freshly wicked Siren v2 which is sitting atop my Revenant Cartel Mod..

So... Am I ready to leave the house for 36 hours?

hahaha.. I've done all this to leave for a day and a half.. rather overkill possibly..
No not at all... Sounds good to me. The most important thing is batteries and charger.

Hope you're going somewhere nice :)

That's a tough one. So far, the machining and finishes on the Russian mechs I have are just superior to the other ones in my collection. Not sure what it is about Russia but their mods are incredibly well made. You can always enjoy them vicariously through me, of course :D

I'd definitely recommend the Vert. It looks like they're going to be releasing some different colored rings to match the Axial and Unicorn RDA color caps, too. It's super nice and that price is a steal compared to other mechs of similar construction. The new one from Stan looks pretty nice but I'll need to see what other colors come out for it before I can commit.
Russian made stuff is second to none. They have a serious engineering background so very set up for work of that nature.

I recently got in touch with a Ukrainian who makes panels and squonk boxes... Does a lot of stabwood and BB bits... His work is amazing too.
