That sounds like a good wire for the nano I was trying to get. I’d probably double that up and use it in my normal non-mtl atomizers. I like those high gauges, they have perfect response time. I’ve been using 28x3/36 lately and really like it.

Completely random. I tried man, I tried to go back to kanthal I really did but I think I’m sticking with Ni80. It’s just better. People are gonna say what they’re going to say but I say it’s better and I’m a trustworthy guy so there you go, it’s official.

I was tooling around and came across this. I don’t know why this but man that speaks to me. I really like this. One of ya’ll should give one of these a home so I can live vicariously through you, (Delores, I’m looking at you) I bet they work fantastic and I have really nothing to even base that assumption on. It’s so random but man. Check this out.

Ultem Squonker Box V3 (18650, 20650)

It’s got to be the name, how is that $140, ON SALE? There’s no way ultem costs that much to manufacture. I keep talking myself up in small increments. Last thing was the lost vape Drone, now it’s this. That V3 would last forever though.... so it’s worth it.

Is ultem durable? How resistant to snapping would a piece of ultem be that’s shaped like the door for that?

Sorry, I don’t mean to be writing books when I post. I’ll calm down.:2cool:
I agree with you that Ni80 is the best. Certainly as an all rounder for multiple uses. I've got two drawers full of every where known to man and I hardly use any of it. SS and Ni 80 are my staples especially for single coil purposes :)

Ultem is very durable but never the less will snap but not easily. This doesn't apply to the lv drone though as that is made from POM a type of plastic.... Good luck :)

Good morning shinies :)

Keep missing deliveries as they have to be signed for but loads of incoming still.

My Provari guy on eBay contacted me today with pictures of his last stock of different mods... All mint and saying he has been using the going rate on eBay as a price point. I haven't looked at then properly yet but there completely brand new so a bit of a find... Excited to get something.

Let me know if anyone else is interested and I'll ask him if you can get in touch directly.....after I've chosen of course :D

@DeloresRose glad it was a common or garden skunk... I don't think you needed some unknown extra problem to think about at the moment.

Hope all is well with your Mum etc

The whole skunk thing is pretty funny in hindsight. And Mom is doing okay. We should be getting her moved closer soon, although they do seem to take care of her where she is.

I’m taking the Zlide for a test run today with some 50/50 6 mg toasted almond. I really prefer dl, but once in a while I need a break from the heavy vg juices. Closed down to two holes it’s just how I like my mtl.

Good to hear...

I like my MTL too. I usually have a set up close by. Today I've got the Bantam with a loose MTL but still running my DIY 70/30 in that. It's funny but although I like my clouds my vaping has become much more relaxed. I like it better that way too.

I know it's hardware dependent but I use 70/30 for everything, even the supposed "mtl" drop in coils I have (not sure if the 0.48 ohm Plexus 3D is considered Innokin's mtl coil), and have never had a problem with wicking, even if I chain vape several draws in a row. I'm really not a fan of the TH from PG (or nic for that matter), and prefer a smoother vape. I't not the cloud, it's the smoothness of the vape I go for. Same way as my restricted DL tanks and attys are my best fit, a loose draw, not sucking on a straw, or inhaling from a fire hose.

I think in days gone by I equated clouds with nic intake. The more cloud the more satisfied I was.

I've realised now that that is not necessarily the case and it's the balance of the constituents and style of vaping which is important too...

I really like my restricted dl the best too but I'm not adverse to any other vaping style just for a change or to have a break from my daily norm...

I wish my drip tip selection was this organized. My method is called 'toss them all in round jars" they are all scattered through out the house too.

And I’m sure this would run 30/70 just fine, but my other tanks won’t run 50/50 very well.

Clouds are, imho, just a byproduct of flavor plus that full lung feeling I enjoy. I never shoot for clouds. I do sometimes shoot for not so much clouds.

I have fairly extreme preference for draw. On a scale of 1- 10, 1 being the tightest, I prefer my mtl at about 2 and dl at 7 at least. There again, it depends on other factors

the only thing I can think of that I want is another Lustro in either black or teal because I want that rubberized coating. Also like the looks of the Brunhilde but I have not been together enough to hear what anyone has said about them. Comments appreciated.

OCD???

Good grief! Can't you see that the green band is not concentric with the purple band in the first photo? Or that your spare pods are not lined up and parallel in the second pic. Let's not even get into the fact that you have drip tips of different colors and sizes in the same compartment of you drip tip box. I need to go lie down ...

Is your ProVari connection in Europe? Even if he is, I'd be interested in checking out what he has.

I like less spice now that I'm entering my dotage.

Yesterday, at some risk to limb if not life, I moved a heavy bureau downstairs to serve as the repository of all things vape. And today I received yet another KFL 2019 and a Tripod. Soon I will make minestrone.

You make me chuckle Zazie.... No my Provari guy is more your guy actually... He's in the US. Hes the Provape engineer who has all the old stock. I bought some end caps and other stuff from him on eBay and when I asked a couple of questions found out that he still had mods but has been banned from selling them on eBay. He's really ...... off. Anyway long story short he sent me pics and I'm going to to choose which ones I want... Couple of sample pics below.... Enjoy..

I'd appreciate being left to choose first unless you lot buy all the stock before me :D:p:p I'll ask him about direct contact next time I email him with my order :)

I just thought of another point. The usage of the terms MTL and DL are really easy to misinterpretation. Some people describe an RDL as an airy DL for me a draw is DL up until the DL draw cannot be done without asphyxiation.... Then it's MTL. So 2 on the 1-10 scale might be a very restricted DL......or it may be 3 or 4 I don't know. I do know that there are lots of confusion and assumptions going on when someone tells me their preference...

Hope this ramble makes sense :D
