You make me chuckle Zazie.... No my Provari guy is more your guy actually... He's in the US. Hes the Provape engineer who has all the old stock. I bought some end caps and other stuff from him on eBay and when I asked a couple of questions found out that he still had mods but has been banned from selling them on eBay. He's really ...... off. Anyway long story short he sent me pics and I'm going to to choose which ones I want... Couple of sample pics below.... Enjoy..

I know it's hardware dependent but I use 70/30 for everything, even the supposed "mtl" drop in coils I have (not sure if the 0.48 ohm Plexus 3D is considered Innokin's mtl coil), and have never had a problem with wicking, even if I chain vape several draws in a row. I'm really not a fan of the TH from PG (or nic for that matter), and prefer a smoother vape. I't not the cloud, it's the smoothness of the vape I go for. Same way as my restricted DL tanks and attys are my best fit, a loose draw, not sucking on a straw, or inhaling from a fire hose.

I'm the same with smoothness - after a year smoke free, TH became irritating so I upped the VG/pg ratio to 70/30. The only clouds I worry about are the ones raining on me, while I'm working outside

I'm also the same regarding draw - if I can breathe the vapour in, not tight, and not loose - it's perfect. But like @Opinionated I MTL on what normal people call restricted lung hit attys. Along with @NolaMel we are Frankenvapers - hear us roar

Those are beauties.I wish my vaping style still allowed for them, but even when they were having their cleaning house going out of business sale I already was past the power levels those could provide. It's really a shame, as they would have done so well by offering boards in them supporting more voltage/wattage. I know that's a sore spot with Provarians, but I can't help but be sad they didn't adapt at the time. But with the 2016 deeming thing looming around then, I understand why they decided to get out while they could rather than deal with the hassle.

Yes it's strange why there are not more discussions around modding the originals. Take the P3 for example... How big is the space for the existing chip.... Would a DNA 60 fit? Or a 40?

I guess that's the main problem..... space. Certainly the build quality is so solid it would support more power without any problem apart from space for wiring.. .again only the issue of space.

I know some guys that mod BB's so I'm wondering if they would be prepared to take on a Provari.... I'll have to ask if they think a 60 would be possible

I just thought of another point. The usage of the terms MTL and DL are really easy to misinterpretation. Some people describe an RDL as an airy DL for me a draw is DL up until the DL draw cannot be done without asphyxiation.... Then it's MTL. So 2 on the 1-10 scale might be a very restricted DL......or it may be 3 or 4 I don't know. I do know that there are lots of confusion and assumptions going on when someone tells me their preference...

Hope this ramble makes sense ​

1 is a Berserker. You can’t even get the vapor all the way to your lungs in one draw.

Ooh that’s nice! I agree though, a little pricey. I have the ultem Drone, and so far, it’s tough enough for me. I can’t speak for how sturdy it would be for others, as mine is a house mouse. I got that for $115 I think and it’s DNA 250C, so it’s hard to figure why this one is $150.

It’s got to be brand name you’re paying for with that one. I really like the style but I’m not really loyal to any companies specifically in that way. I got the sneak tip on another ultem box that looks a whole lit sturdier and I think is better than the one I linked, check this out.,

Of course you may! That's the legendary CSMNT or Cosmonaut by District F5ve. Probably my all time favorite dual coil RDA for flavor. It's an early postless deck design with a genius top cap that never gets hot. I wish they were still making these instead of releasing that ridiculously leaky Layercake.

It reminded me of something clear that someone smoked through and got dirty but somewhere along the line that all changed and I really like the looks if it. So much so I switched over too it. It looks really slick blacked out on that tube mod you have.
