Wait i thought shinyitis folks only knew how to subtract discount/coupon percentages.

Yall know how to convert measurements too?!?o_O

Well I'll be.........:w00t:

Back when I was working the guys used to snag my measuring tape off my desk all the time.

Well one time I made a box for something small that I needed to ship out quickly, and my measuring tape was gone to measure the box for the shipping dimensions.

So the owner comes around and says I don't need measuring tape because the box was about 6 inches.. To which I disagreed saying I was sure it was around 12 inches. So he went into his office grabbed his measuring tape and sure enough he was right, darn box was 6 inches..

He then looked at me and said "Your husband's been lying to you...."

hahaha... it was a running joke at work forever, and hubby to this day declares he has a whopping 13 inches and then laughs at me.. lol

So I'm not entirely sure every shiny member can calculate measurements..

hahaha

Well, turns out I did get pick-up notice for the new Lunas ... picked them up earlier today. Here's a pick of the black mosaic out of the box:

And after a bit of working/shaping/shining up:

Just did some further rounding of the side edges and squonk cut-out, and a bit of an indentation on the front side above the cut-out.

I went from using just 3 mechs, 1 RTA, 1 rda for about 6 years.. to since about June 1 more RTA and rda, 5 regulated mods, and 3 more RTAs incoming, possibly 3 or more RTAs inbound. I got a recent bout of the shinyitis bad. I blame an ECF member here for sending me stuff that was literally shiny, it's all his fault! :D

I used a dremel for some minor shaping, then sanding discs with a drill (as recommended by @charlie1465 in a couple posts) --- the paint sands off and the underlying stainless polishes up just fine as you move through the grits (used 12000 micro-mesh pad to finish off polishing the stainless edges).

Yeah I saw Charlie's amazing efforts. Guess I better add some micro-mesh to my shopping list ;)

Talk about Shinies of a different sort. Called in to a shop on the way home from work tonight to grab some milk. Bloke in front of me was buying a packet of cigarettes - same brand I smoked.
Just about fell over when I saw the price. $51.50 AU or about $34.80 US  - that is a packet, NOT a carton!

Crikey, I am sooooo glad I vape!

And a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY @Zazie

Maybe it's like Champagne now. Get a cigarette for special occasions.
