I know...and I am so sorry things are shut down.
That's okay. It has to be tough keeping track of all the stuff on here and have a life outside of here as well. I am in a few BST groups on fb and have my ebay. There are just a few items I have that I would rather see somebody from here get.

BTW - You and the other admins have done an amazing job over the past few weeks since all this anti-vaping bollocks started. It can't be easy doing your job at the moment - but as an honorary shiny - we appreciate the hell out of you

    morning all.
no more billet box rdas for quite a while. maybe the xeta at some point. another north bridge will be got along with some of the nord mesh 0.6 coils. the 0.8s are decent but the 0.6 suits me most of the time.
somehow have a $6 FT gift certificate. must have not applied with last order. the expromizer will be getting slapped with that after the weekend.
glad to be sticking to my vow of limited shiny buying. keeping the lights on and food (and liquids of course) on the imaginary table are a priority currently.
still enduring partial vapers tongue. only a licorice mix seems to cut through currently. got a FA orange that might be given a go.

Good morning everyone! I hope you all have a great day! I’m trying to limit the threads I read because I miss talking about vape gear. Unfortunately, I’ve kept abreast more than enough to see what’s happening in this state and this country. I keep signing petitions and sending tweets and emails to all my representatives but it feels pretty bleak knowing that we’re up against a multi billion dollar industry and the government who is in their pockets.

So let’s talk shinys! I saw an Ultroner stabwood called a Gaea 200 watt device on stabwood mods uk. I couldn’t find any reviews for it and it’s not a collaboration with Asmodus. It uses a chip I’ve need heard of that I also couldn’t find any information about at all online.

The only thing I did find out is that Fasttech sells them for under $200 and with the MAP code comes to about $175. Of course you cannot choose the exact device like you can on the stabwood mod uk site.

It’s a really nice looking dual 18650 almost like a wider SL Class mod.

But there’s no way in hell that I’m spending that kind of money on a mod without any reviews at all. Even though I feel confident in the devices that stabwoodmodsuk sells I don’t feel $200 confident besides the “fact” I’m suppose to be SELLING or thinning out the herd NOT adding to it.

I just have to keep reminding myself of the hospital vet bill of almost $4k or more. Even with health insurance I still have about $2k out of pocket to pay. In addition, he’ll need continuous monitoring like today we go for another EKG and BP. I’m sure he’ll need another echocardiogram as well at some point.

So all of that reminds me to advertise NOT add lol!!! And so far between this forum and a different outlet I’ve done pretty good.

Today I’m probably going to put one or two of my new VA Primo 21700s for sale. Not sure why I bought 4 and a regular Primo too. Oh - it was because I thought they were all so pretty and couldn’t make up my mind.

Did I say previously that I have bipolar 2 and sometimes get hypomanic and go on spending sprees. Unfortunately it’s not usually anything inexpensive. Many years ago I bought 2 brand new motorcycles within a few weeks of each other and paid using a credit card. No need to mention that my credit isn’t very good nowadays but I’m working on it!!!

Can’t decide which is worse - the depression or the mania. The depression is cheaper at least lol!

Ok enough of my confessional. Enjoy your day and please show off whatever shinys you get so I can live vicariously through you all  !!!!!

Good morning shiners! Not much to say around these parts. Just waiting on that FT package and getting my DIY all set up. No ordering for me until the 1st, which means no retail juice orders. Which isn't terrible as it's expensive and I expected to transition over in October back to all DIY anyway, but I hate the idea I HAVE to do it.

Guess that'll free up more money for hardware, as that appears to be the next, and final, target. Problem there is I have all the stuff I need, and not a lot of new I like, so I'm planning to sit back and grab items on sales that are a coin toss whether I would have bought them at "full price" to begin with.

@classwife glad to see you around here. It's the one thread you don't have to worry about actually moderating, and a safe place from the storm raging outside.

At least the things you’ve bought are useful and not self destructive. And you should be able to get most if not all of your money back out of them.

I refuse to let myself feel guilty about my purchases because these have been incredibly stressful times, and I’m proud of myself for not indulging in far, far worse than vape gear. Same goes for you.

I'm cooking a chicken-sweet potato-coconut milk-garam masala invention in our electric pressure cooker, the yummy smell is driving me to eat the end of a pencil. That's likely to be poisonous, let's ban pencils! Protect the public! We love you!

On another note another Chinese company's shipping agent has sent me two review samples via UPS after we agreed to try China Post. It's held as there is £5 tax ( ... thats fine) and an obscene fee to pay (no thanks), again, rejected it!

    mini rant ends

@Eskie I feel the same way about building. I enjoy the vape and not being dependent on pre made coils, but it’s such a chore. It really would be fun to have a colony where folks could help one another out, mixers could mix, builders could build, battery wrappers could make all our batteries look like that pickle guy...

We could set up a virtual colony and work in the delays due to mail. But even if we're doing it for each other for free, we'll have to go to the dark net to do it as even if we don't charge each other a penny we'd still be considered manufacturers. Then we still ave to worry about being infiltrated by undercover agents. No one here works for the FBI, right? If so, this really is me just being snarky, not serious.

(PM me for the secret plans. I'll call Saul now so we're covered, just in case)

Mir mang shiny rak (Good morning shiny fam)! Apparently, there's no word for shiny in the black speech of Mordor. We're going to change that though, because I finally ordered my black to red gradient Infinity Mordor from Russian Custom Mods. I have no idea how long it's going to take to get here from Russia but it's coming via UPS, so hopefully there won't be any issues. Waiting for shiny is the worst part of shinyitis :(

I remodel houses for a living. If you are not happy with the quality of the work that was done, definitely stick to your guns and demand replacement or repair. I see so much work that is done incorrectly it makes me sick. Also pay attention to any drywall that is bowed, especially in the ceiling, and specifically in garage areas. It might seem ridiculous (I think it is) but it's an unfortunately common thing to see bad framing (missing 2x4's) in these areas, particularly in homes built from the 70's to 2010. Might be worth the price of a responsible and reputable home inspector not recommended by the real estate agent. Just IMO of course.
I did pay for one of these guys to come in. When I inquired about getting my own inspection they passed me a sheet of inspectors they worked with and said "we prefer you use one of these guys." I had my own inspector that I already used many times before so I hired him. They would not let him on the property because he was lacking one credential. (another bullying tactic) so I called around and found another guy with the credential they wanted (not affiliated with them) and he came but they did not have the gas turned on or the appliances in. (even though on the date they had set and called ahead to make sure it was ready) there went the initial $750 and now he had to come back to the tune of $295. This was my first recognition of their nonsense. At this point I turned to corporate and asked them to pay the $295 for my inspector to come back. We haggled here and I had to provide copies of emails where they said the house was ready and bring on the inspector. I won and they paid the $295. My guy did find problems on his first trip ( including some joints in the attic) and they fixed all of those problems except the shower glass.

I am a Realtor and this guy is full of View attachment 840487. That's what the final walk through and inspection are for, so bad workmanship and mistakes can be noted and fixed. Good for you chanelvaps! View attachment 840495 I wish there were more people like you that stand up to the thugs in the home building industry. If he gives you any more trouble, I would call the County Commissioner and or the State Licensing Board. I would also put up as many bad reviews as you can. Most builders and contractors don't want that kind of attention. I wish you luck with this. Buying a home. new or not, should be a pleasant, fun, and exciting experience. It's too bad that in the housing industry $$ is the bottom line, and not the satisfaction of the consumer, who btw is handing over the big bucks.View attachment 840491

PS. Why isn't your Realtor taking care of this nonsense for you? I'd have this guy on his knees begging you to do his job by the end of the day;)
Rob, the sad part is I am paying cash, which you think we make me somewhat important but it turns out they like to sell to people getting loans. Yes what should have been an exhilarating experience turned into a nightmare ( I even had a stroke in the midst of it seriously and was hospitalized for 3-4 days) My realtor (Robin) is a fellow animal rescuer that I used because I thought it would be easy. I do not really think she is a good realtor but I know where her money goes (like mine) and I did not anticipate any problems. When I sold my house in California, I picked the realtor and then had Robin contact her and give a referral that way Robin would get some of the whopping 44K commission. I found this house myself and did most of the legwork and then just attached Robin so she could make some money on it.
Unfortunately she allowed herself to be bullied and fell quick. I will never use a friend again. Give me a shark realtor next time.

If there is an afterlife, I’d bet my mom finds your mom and they’re best friends. My mom raised six kids on her own after my dad died. Tough as nails.

Ours was the house where all the kids would hang out, the ones who weren’t welcome anywhere else. The hippies. The not-White not-Catholic kids.

My friend’s mother confronted my mom one day, saying her daughter wouldn’t be allowed to come over as long as certain other people were going to be there. And my mom said, that’s too bad... your daughter is a nice kid. But so are these kids. And I don’t jump when you say jump.

    She was fearless.
YES, Sounds like our house. The original Quiet Riot group (Randy Rhoads and Kelly Garni) was born in our living room as my mom always allowed my brothers bands to jam at our house. My mom was also lending money to my friends that accidently got pregnant and needed abortions but could not go to their moms. She would leave the house on the weekends to go to her boyfriends and say (wink wink) "no parties here kids" and we would say "Of course not mom"
we would all be walking up and done the street on Sunday picking up the beer cans before she came home. The block parties with bands were legendary at our house. My mom knew. She told me years later, she knew. Neighbors would tell her. She was just glad we did not burn the house down.
