So I tried out some kanthal ribbon wire (thank you again @Fredman1 )
    this morning ;)

WOW - 0.5ohms in the Luna and it hits like a brick sh!thouse :D

The coil is kanthal 0.67mm*0.27mm 2.5mm id. Ramps pretty damn close to a similar ohm 28ga coil, not hot and flavour galore. Flat wire rabbit hole, here I come ;)
Great, now I need flat wire too... j/k, nice build, I've been wanting to try flat wire for years. I guess I know what my next order will be now.

Next time try spaced, performed better for me with my .8 x .2 ss.
Advanced vape supply has some good flat too.
100 foot of .5x.1 ss is 6.99. Just saying...

@Skunk!, sounds like Ribbon Wire. It's like trying to use angel hair pasta.

    Do you MTL or DTL?

@AngeNZ, does the flat wire you're using have rounded or square edges? As I can get a small variety of sizes in SS316L, but only with square edged profile. Just I'm really interested in if there's any difference in vaping experence.

    Thanks man
Very nice! Are you familiar with the difference of a stacked, series, vs. a dual parallel mech builds for safety? Series doubles the voltage, but the amps remain the same. Parallel lets you double the amperage, but the voltage stays the same. Here's a nice graphic to detail the difference.

So you can choose your batteries properly. That graphic for 20A batteries like a 25R. If you go with 21700's. 30T's will be your best bet. If you have 25A 40T's adjust accordingly.

    It is a tall one.

thanks man I have researched that before and was planning on starting with 0.3 ohms and seeing how that is.

The only thing I’m wondering is should the two batteries I use always be used together for that purpose? Like marry them and never use them single and I I do I shouldn’t stack them? Obviously thy will be the same brand and rating but I’m just wondering if they should stay married and never separate them to be safe? I’m sure it’s probably a good idea but do you think the potential for something to go wrong greatly increases if I decide to use the batteries one at a time and then charge them together and stack them when I want to?

Nah it seems square to me. I think I'm using this stuff from Crazy Wire

I bought a MDX mod with a name that is banned here, but I have not had the cajones to use it yet. View attachment 845941

Interested to hear what you think of the Mage.
thats a unicorn right? Nice just do some research before using it . I hear the nice hot vape from a series mech can be amazing. I’ve never tried it myself. I always test it by pressing fire before I put it to my mouth.

I was just coming back from the gym and dropped my brand new sqeezer on the little piece of wood I’m front of my siding door. Of course it missed the carpet. Now it’s broken. That sucks. Hopefully I can fix it

It is ribbon wire. I was able to get it to work... kinda.

Marrying batteries seems like a good idea. Mooch seems to believe after some testing better married than not. Given any voltage difference will limit you to the weakest battery I would expect that would be more noticeable on a mech as there’s no circuit to balance discharge them. I guess if they are new, same brand and type, you could put together two singles that haven’t been used much and then always charge them together, but mismatched batteries in a mech just doesn’t feel like a good call for performance or safety.

Advanced Vape Supply did have SS316L (0.2mm x 0.8mm) flat wire in @Skunk!, but they're out of stock at the moment.
I got the ribbon there. Them and KBee are my main sources for wire. Oh your DL MTL question. I am all over the place from MTL 26ga. @ 10W to DL120W with Hex core Claptons lol

I’ve bought from them with no issues several times. I think everything was from a USA warehouse but I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them, regardless. Is there a reason it concerns you?
I heard someone else talking about issues from HK. Something to do with all the upheaval going on there but Idk if it effects our shipments.
