If I'm not mistaken it was the lovely @NolaMel that was looking for a tube mech:p

Iirc she was looking for side fire. I only have one, a clone from FT. Now that I think about it I never even fired it up. I disliked it, felt really cheap. But I should try it out anyway. You never know.

Took me a while to catch up this morning. I had a bad fibro day yesterday. Checked the mail then hit the couch. I got my flat wire and some knitting needles

We found my mom’s needle collection when we cleaned her apartment out. She had pairs in every size up to broom stick. I’m trying to figure what we should do with them. They could go in the donate pile but it just seems there’s a better solution. I’m going to ask at the local yarn store, see if they have any ideas. I only use sock needles -dpns- and these are straights so they’re no help to me, but I may keep them just the same.

You lost me at sock needles but asking the shop seems like a good idea... Mind you sounds like a pretty comprehensive kit...

I'd definitely keep them for sentimental and hoarding reasons.

Sorry the fibromyalgia is bad.... Sending hugs and positive thoughts

Thanks Charlie, and I hope you’re doing okay today.

Top left, project bag, top right, WIP (work in progress) and bottom, full sets of double pointed needles.

Most knitting you go from right to
Left and then turn it over when you get to the end of the row. With socks, you knit in the round, so to speak. So there isn’t a cap On one end of the Needle to stop stitches from falling off. They’re pointed on both ends. You can see that in the sock on the left.

This is my favorite brand because they match my stabwoods, lol.

It is a horrible situation. I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone or something. The neighborhood does not allow satellite dishes. My interest is piqued by how you get Internet though. I do not have a tablet. I do have T-Mobile though. Can they sell me something?

T Mobile offers a 4G hotspot as well.
Alcatel LINKZONE™ 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot | Tablets at T-Mobile

Edit: Oops I jumped ahead before reading all the other answers. They're all correct.

I also use my phone at times to tether for wifi. But my T Mobile account required an additional fee for 20 GB a month of 4G to wifi. It might be because I'm on their discounted "Over 55" plan which is cheaper, so they make it up on the back side. Still, with 2 phones, stuck my daughter on, and with all the bells and whistles (same upgrade for wifi on her's plus more overseas functions as she is way more a traveler than me) it's about $100 in all.

Note, T Mobile does throttle after 50 GB in a month but the speed decrease depends on the network traffic, so it may or may not be all that noticeable. It only happened to me once. But I already have wifi at home separately so it's rarely a big deal (I think it was a month I was traveling a lot and did everything on their network).

Aw that’s nice. Thanks for reassuring me about the baby. I’m still gonna make Stevie a nest for these cold winter days. She doesn’t get picked on by other bunnies back here. The others tend to steal her food away from her. Back her she likes it because she can be set up like a queen behind lifts where she’s pretty safe. She still likes exploring and chilling under lumber racks form time to time lol hence why I honk my horn to warn her when picking up lumber racks
Hi Ricky:)You may know this already but straw (not hay) makes a great nest for just about any animal. It has insulating properties, resists moisture and keeps them warm. People use it for feral cats, too.

My T-mobile gave me all unlimited data a few years ago for all 4 phones on my account. I am going to see them today to see if that is enough or if I Need to buy something else.

Aspire Odan, diamond cut glass tube = bling.
Oh right, I've seen that. Thank you.

Did you see that vertical coil RDA I posted a few pages back?(these pages fly quickly, lol). If so, what do you think of it? I was intrigued by the design. Maybe I should try to find a review. And don't ask me it's name:facepalm:

I didn't see which atty it was but I like vertical coils. It's one of those things that might not be for everyone. Vertical coils have a different airflow to them obviously.

@Don29palms hey buddy, are we okay? It started to get edgy over there in that other thread. Nothing like a red hot deeming regulations thread:eek::laugh:lol.
@muth We are good. We know what we disagree on and that's ok too. Much love to you.

Yes, and I've had some vertical RDAs with less than satisfying AF. If I remember, this one seemed to be designed with AF right on the coil. I need to find a review.

goodbye
Alot of people are calling it a cash grab.
It is very similar to the drop dead, which i have a couple of and I like it.
If it has similar flavor etc it should be good.

Heathen caught ALOT of flak about putting no videos or social out about the state of vaping. The only video he did was this rdas presentation, and caught so much grief he posted a video about the rally etc..
But caught more grief because he made statements like we should blow a massive cloud in DC so they have no choice but to notice us. Uh thats not the kind of attention we want.

Anyway after all that i quit looking at the DRv2 and decided im good with my drop dead. I could change my mind if its a mind blowing rda, but i dont see it being much better than my dd.
Here is a pic of the dd i googled, you may do better to search one out as it would be cheaper since it has been out a while. But if you get the v2 update us as i am curious but doubtful.
View attachment 849249

Yeah, I saw the videos and know the story. If you watch the DRv2 video, he explains and defends some of it. He put out a more comprehensive video explaining and defending his self below. I have a DR also, but the v2 looks really nice. I am definitely tempted.

Actually I'm not sure what we disagree on but maybe as time goes on we'll get to know each other better. I left ECF years ago and recently returned so it's like getting to know people again. With that said, I don't shy away from friendships just because of different philosophies. In the end we all eat, drink and s**t roses:laugh:. Much love back:thumb:
