That's strange, none of mine have ever eaten a wrap. I hold the battery parallel with the mod, seat the edge of the negative end partially against the raised area of the bottom contact and then slide the positive end in until its top contact is against the raised area of the top contact. Then I just push the battery straight in.

If you push one end of the battery in all the way and then try to force the other end in, I could see it tearing the wrap, especially on the negative end. Just try to keep the battery parallel with the mod as you press it in so the raised areas of the mod's contacts are touching the metal parts of the battery contacts only.

To remove, just pop off the door and spank the mod against your opposite palm and the battery comes right out no problem.

I tried that slap to remove, tore the wrapper. Maybe they loosen up a bit with use, but I’ll just pull the bottle for now. Aside from that, I really like them.

@Opinionated Just to add here I know that tralfaz uses ODB wraps a lot and they are very thin... Well my last order was anyway.

Hope this helps the issue :)

Yeah, they are thin but that wouldn't affect the pressure of the mod contacts on the battery contacts. I'm really surprised that popping the battery out by spanking the mod on your palm is tearing wraps. Looking at mine, I just don't see how anything could catch the edge of my wrap. I don't hit the mod against my flat palm, I cup my hand a little. Sometimes it takes a couple of hits but the batteries always come out unharmed. Very strange. I guess just do what works best for you.

    Morning shinies

Thanks for the encouragement. I really had no idea how slow slow was going to but everyone’s been so supportive it’s kept me from getting depressed. So thanks :)

Broken bone healing is very slow going - and bloody painful, but you do get there in the end ;)

The hardest thing for me to do was to put weight on my ankle the first time, after 8 weeks of non-weight bearing. I certainly wanted to do it, and my ankle could handle it - but convincing my brain it was OK and to let me do it, was a huge battle. Once I got over that hurdle, I slowly worked my way down from 2 crutches to 1 crutch. And getting rid of that last crutch, was another mind game battle - you will get there, I promise

I keep forgetting I ordered one. Sourcemore on the slow boat though. I am looking forward to it although (unlike everyone) I think it looks totally hideous. Also, I don't know if I mentioned my VaporL order arrived fine despite no notification and tracking number. They never responded to my message. Now they have something cheap like, and I want to order it but I am scared to do so. With that said, I highly doubt they remember ONE message, which they have not responded to, although I could notify them I received my order I guess.

Oh I have also forgotten what it was I wanted. So, life is really on my side here. I have to buy snus and I hate it EVERY time and the new "all white" snus is perplexing gotrta get the highest nic concentration on THAT. It's gonna be annoying, I am fairly certain.

Tasks: Take out trash, empty refrigerator and go to Walmart. I ate a family sized bag of Brussel sprouts as my main course yesterday I was pretty much out of food but they were DELICIOUS. I ate a lot of almonds and cashews for protein. I also ate some chocolate stuff at around midnight, I do hazily believe.

I want to set up one of my new Silverplays! And yoga. I am mostly better. But only mostly.

You’re probably a much better spanker than I am. I’m way out of practice.

Thanks for your continuous encouragement Ange!! I’ve had more surgeries than you can count on 2 hands but never broke a bone before never mind the biggest bone in the body at a joint that holds up half my weight!!!

I don’t think my right leg even remembers how to work not even considering the amount of pain there is as I continue to rehab. Wow.

This week we added new strengthening exercises and increased number of repetitions of the “older” ones. I was in agony all night just from that. I’m beginning to understand what you mean about convincing my brain to even attempt to walk at this point!!

Thanks Ricky! Have you ever had any problems wicking your Unity? I am a little intimidated to build it. I have a friend who has one, and I have witnessed several failed attempts, and getting terrible results, like juice dumps and dry hits. I have also seen a few people experiencing these things online. Don't get me wrong. I am excited about getting the Unity. Just a little intimidated. I have 3 youtube tutorial/wicking videos I am going to watch today on how to properly wick this thing. Wish me luck. :)

Hey there good morning. I had a hell of a time at first to be honest until I looked up how it exactly works and where the juice comes from. No tutorial I watched would help me.

Follow the instructions it comes with to put the coil on that’s easy. Then feed the cotton through to the middle and then pull back a bit on it. When you get good you can cut it so you can use one strip twice but when beginning I suggest just bringing it to the middle and cutting the ends off. Then getting rid of the excess. But there is plenty cotton there for two builds if you only pull it in a little ways just enough so you can do a proper cut on each side then saving the rest for another time. But first try I think you’ll want to pull it right to the middle.

Then I cut the cotton with some bigger sharp scissors not the tiny ones that come in a vape kit. I start just over the edge of the entire rda so it’s barely over the black round part going around the entire rda. Then put the scissors on an angle just enough so that the top of the cotton is in line with the silver metal part that you tuck the bottom of the wick into. You want the top of the cotton to be slighter higher than the mesh so be sure not to cut on too sharp an angle.

You’ll want to tuck enough of the bottom cotton the point where the angle just starts down into the metal. I don’t let it stick out at all I just have it in there nice and tight so it creates a seal and so when you look at it from the side the cotton is flush with that metal opening like the picture above. You can see on one side I have the cotton sticking out a tiny bit but that isn’t a big deal it still doesn’t leak for me.

One you tuck the bottom in then you have to make sure the entire cotton ball on each side sticks out so it’s in line with the silver metal part you tucked the bottom into. The juice comes from the top and goes into the cotton from the sides so if the entire cotton all the way to the top isn’t sticking out enough and in line with the silver metal part then it will leak.

If the cotton ends up sloped down too much then juice will leak down and out be air holes. Same with if the cotton doesn’t end up in line with the metal part you tuck the cotton into. Juice will pour out too fast. The cotton can go past the metal part a little bit but too much and the cotton ball won’t soak up all the juice.

I put juice on while heating it up at a low wattage so it soaks up before I take the rda bottom off the mod and screw it together. Remember the rda must be off the mod before you can screw the bottom to the tank or take it off. I use tweezers around the metal in the centre of the deck to screw It on so it doesn’t just spin around. Same with taking it off.

It may leak a tiny bit a first but usually firing it it and taking a few puffs will stop that. If it starts pouring out fast then you know you have to take it apart and play around with the cotton. Remember you can always cut a bit off here and there to get it to wick better but if you cut it too small at first you will have to start over.
