Yeah I agree there's not much out there that's pointing my ears.
Just got myself a Ulton Tripod and bought a bubble tank from another place.
What does exite me for the first of next month is the Geekvape Boost AIO. Spesifically the rba, but that isn't out yet.

Hi Sara. I hope you are enjoying the time with your sister. I am glad you are part of this community. :) This place and the people here have become a place in my life that I look forward to visiting daily. Sure has greatly added to my friends list.

I've only been vaping for just over a year, but I feel like I could've/should've been vaping all my life. It just feels natural to me, like it belongs in my life. It's brought me sooo many great things. At a certain age, it's hard to keep finding new things that are worth keeping. I like everything about the vaping world. The people, the community, the life it gave back to me. If we make it through to the other side, I am going to open my own vape shop. My wife wants to open an Asian street food and tea shop. Been talking to the owners of the two local shops I frequent. I like the atmosphere of the local shops and community also. If I can get one of them to sell me a franchise, I will go that way. If I can't, I will just open my own shop. I think the industry is young enough that, if I set it up right, it will do really well. The two shops I go to have helped me learn a lot, and I will use what I've learned from both of them, and the endless wealth of knowledge I have available here....and have the best shop in town.

Don't know how much advice or suggestion I can give to a veteran collector like yourself, but I know for sure that I love vaping just as much as ya'll do. I love the form factor of my Vaporesso Swag. I use it at 35 watts with my Geekvape Tsunami RDA. Solid little single 18650 mod that feels very nice in the hand. There is a version 2 now that has the same finish as the Vaporesso Gen, which I also have. I like the finish and form factor of the Gen mod. Just feels really nice in the hand, and fires solid. I will probably get the Swag 2. I don't have any squonkers, so can't help there. I will have some before long though.

I'll cya round the forum Sara. Glad to have you as a friend. I also am available for a chat in pc any time. :)

thanks for the kind words :)
as for the swag I have the original. I know Vaporesso just came out with a V2 but haven’t looked into it.

the Gen interests me but it just doesn’t look form fitting as I like my mods.

the search is still on. One of my favorite mods was an hcigar war wolf I bought used. The screen turned white and it’s unusable. But it was a perfect feel in the hand.

goodbye
Well, reflecting on my past year in the vaping world....I have learned a lot, and made many new friends. I feel like I have built quite a good collection. Can't hold a candle to you veterans, but I'm very far removed from where I was a year ago. At this point, I know where I want to go in my vaping journey. Thank you all for helping have a great time getting there along the way. Maybe not as fast as I'd like to go, but great fun and quality experience nonetheless. Been a long and very enjoyable day, but now it's time for intimate and meaningful contact with my pillow.

I leave you with a shot of my collection as it stands today.

Good morning shinies

@Fidola13 hey Sara chin up girl :)

I know exactly what you mean though I have the same problem. Maybe it's something which reflects the vaping age we are living in. I definitely think that a lot of companies are waiting to see where the authorities go with all this.

Also, you can't deny that these days it's virtually impossible to buy anything bad. Everything just works. Making something innovative is difficult now.

Just my thoughts anyway. :D

I'm with you, Fidola, on form factor and xx700 mods. Not enough to chose from. Not so much into dual xx700 cause that's a big handful and I don't need the power but the capacity would be insane. xx700 batts and mods were the last time I got excited about buying new mods but I'm still waiting to see more. Just not bothering with single or dual 18650 or 26650 anymore. No need when there's xx700. Unless you really want a small mod which i get.

Sometimes when I'm not feeling the thrill for mods or atties I start concentrating on DIY and making a recipe that blows me away. Haven't succeeded at that yet so at least I still have a goal I'm working on. We all get the doldrums. I'm glad you spoke out and expressed yourself. I'm available for PMs too. Don't hesitate to activate my alerts;)

great idea! Plus I have SEVERAL RBAs just waiting to be built and given go. I attempted to do some diy last week but it was still just too uncomfortable to sit or stand too long wth my healing broken hip.

I’m really ready to give it another go though because I love mixing my own juice.

where in mass are you located? I’m just about 13-14 miles south of Boston.

I was just notified by GeekVape they are sending me the Boost with the RBA to review.

I soooo envy you. Plz let us know what you think of it.
I have the Thunderhead Tauren X AIO with the RBA. Fantastic flavor but it has some issues. I first had to drill out the drip tip hole because its way to small. Sort of worked, but in the end I had to modify another tip to fit. Then I had to drill the juice holes bigger. It gave dry hits on 70VG juice. Also leaked out the air hole at the bottom after refilling. Its better now but still not perfect. They shouldn't have pushed it to market with these flaws.

I hope you and your sister had a wonderful Thanksgiving too!

Nothing is wrong with you. I know the feeling... like you, @NolaMel and @muth there's just not much out there flippin' my trigger either. I'm well stocked and just scooping up misc stuff here and there.

As for the Squid DB v3... I'm pretty sure @*RJ* bought one for around $35-$39 which is a really good deal. She said where in the other thread but that was a couple days ago. Maybe pop over in the "are you done stocking" thread and ask her.
I think Vaporrange had a deal like that. The DB is small but it’s heavy too @Fidola13 so I don’t know if you’ll enjoy it.

@chanelvaps pic at a glance made me think Stevie was already home with you. Then I read the post. So sweet of Chanelvaps to offer to make a hammock for Stevie!
I make them for shelter cats so why not for rabbits?

Back from dinner with my daughter, her boyfriend, and his parents. Nice people. Fortunately the turkey turned out well. They did the sides. The worst part was the oven was not only new to me (let’s face it, we’re used to how our own oven performed and a new one is anxiety producing) but it was a convection oven that they didn’t know how to turn the fan off of on it.

Do you know how anxiety producing it is when you can’t figure out just how long this ridiculously overpriced bird had to cook for? Somehow I called it right and all was good in the world. I just needed a drink to calm down from all the pressure of “are you sure the turkey will be OK?” my daughter asked every 10 minutes. I thought they stopped that behavior after age 9.

Ricky, as to Stevie, you might as well bring her home already. Too many people will be crying for days if she gets squashed by a pallet. You already have a bunny hammock offer and I expect the crowd can fund an endless supply of carrots for her (is it good for her to eat so many? Doesn’t she need like another protein source?).

As to FT and PP, good thing I had no hiccups this morning or I would have had a meltdown before the turkey adventure.

According to text messages I have packages arriving tomorrow and Saturday. I wish I could remember what’s in them. On that note good night to all you shinys, and may you all enjoy your turkey sandwiches for the next 4 days.
I went to a friends for Thanksgiving dinner. While I appreciated the invite, I have to say, the Turkey was not good. Dry and coarse. All I could think about was your Fabulous maple brined bird

If you were alone I understand how you feel. I’ve spent decades alone at the holidays.
I am alone, but by choice. I have been married twice and did not do well. I like my space, my solitude. Nothing wrong with being alone. Some people prefer it. I literally get goosebumps at the thought of sharing my space with anyone for more then a couple of days.
I always have a few invites for holidays and that is enough for me. I made roasted Brussel sprouts and jalapeno cheddar corn muffins to carry to a friends. Celebrated with 20+ peeps and then came home to my own space.

    Good morning all!

@Fidola13 I think we all go through that, not seeing anything interesting to buy. It almost feels like I’m sick when that happens lol. Fortunately - or unfortunately, as the case may be - I have other interests and get emails for sales relating to those. And when I get bored with one thing I do something else. It does seem harder to do alone though. So many hours to try to fill.

I had a vegan dinner provided by my darling daughter and her BF, and it was delicious. Roasted veggie tart, taters, green beers, and some fish I don’t know what it was called. It was like a nut chutney rolled up in falafel, so good. My pie and bread were a hit. I thought the BF got a wee bit choked up about those. His family, especially his mom, never made anything from scratch. It was a big deal to him. He’s such a sweet kid, I’d bake for him any day.

I’m going to start my steroid dose pack today. I put it off because the effects are unpredictable for me, and I didn’t want to be crazy for Turkey day. So if I’m stranger than normal, you’ll know why. I apologize in advance.

A way too early good morning shiners! Definitely had more caffeine late in the afternoon yesterday then normal. For those venturing out for actual store Black Friday sales for non-vape stuff, good luck and don't get trampled.
you could not pay me top dollar to go anywhere near the stores today

I decided I do want a couple more small mods especially since Mooch said there could be a new 18650 with large capacity. I'm interested in the Aegis Solo and the OBS Cube X. If anyone knows about a great deal on these I'd very much appreciate the help.

I know I'm contradicting myself but I'm also contemplating buying another RTA. I have the Themis but was not that impressed in the end, so thought I'd try the Profile Unity. Opinions?
