I know right?
It might be easy to find one, just any one, but try to find one that will not squander your wealth, wreak havoc with your trust, leave you alone 90% of the time (JK) ;)

I don’t know if it’s like this everywhere or just where I live, but if a guy is single he’s ‘playing the field’ and that’s fine. But women are supposed to be so desperate to find a man we’ll settle for anything.

My sister keeps trying to hook me up with some guy who’s a friend of her husband’s. He’s okay to small talk at a party, I mean he doesn’t eat babies or anything. She says if her husband died she’d marry him in a flash. That says it all to me, her husband tells her to jump and she says how high. This guy is the same way. If I wanted a boss, I’d go back to work. No thanks.

My SIL says just find someone to hang out with. Why? Why would I want someone in my space just to fill up space? That seems to work for her though.

I’m not against relationships... I just think there’s more to it than filling a chair. I wouldn’t want to be someone’s benchwarmer, and nobody should put up with being mine.

    Agree 100% ;)

However I've recently figured out there is the willing single group - like you and me. Who prefer the company of pets, to the company of blokes :D

And then there is the not-so-willing single group. Which includes those who spent most of their lives with their soulmate, but were parted too soon  and it is this group of brave people that I absolutely admire. I include my Mum in this group, along with @ShowMeTwice and @DeloresRose

I think that for those of us that are Baby Boomers there is that model of Leave it to Beaver deep in our subconscious, creating more of a desire to fit that idea of a family unit that later generations weren't force fed. There are also some social circles which are all couples and don't welcome singles, particularly single women. This is all old thinking but it may be driving it.

Supply and demand may also be in play as we age - women outnumber men in the later stages of life.

The bottom line IMO is that some people need another with them, or think they do, to function in many settings. Strangely, those that feel that way seem to often want the more solitary people to follow suit.
    Maybe they just don't understand.

OK. I will just feel things out without having your info and then if I feel I have got someone that will help I will let you give me a ph number. Just one question are you town, out in the countryish? I do not know how big Victoria is but maybe give me a basic idea. PM is fine
I’m in Sidney right close to the thrift shop they have on the website. Right by the water and ferries

    And in vaping news:

I was just good and ordered 4 new Samsung 30q batteries. Mainly because I'm now running so many damn setups ;)

Plus some of my batteries are in the 18month age group.

BTW how do I know when a battery needs putting out to pasture?

They will need charging much more frequently, and in the case of unregulated mods like the Luna, will not hit as hard.

this is so right. I have a lot of girlfriends that always say "aren't you scared or tired of being alone" these are the same girlfriends that do not really cherish their man, he is either there to pay the bills or do the yardwork. I learned to enjoy my own company a long time ago and now relish it.

The ss (or other metal) is anodized to achieve different colours. Its a chemical process that slightly penetrates the metal. Chemical removal is easiest. Here's a US product and a process that'll work for you....

@Fredman1, is the process hydrofluoric acid based?

    Hydrofluoric acid

There's also stronger acids mentioned in there as well, which would probably promptly remove the coating and then disolve the metal quickly. Which wouldn't be fun.

Just so everyone watching knows, Hydrofluoric Acid is highly poisonous. I'm not sure what the process to remove it completely is, so I personally wouldn't use it on a device for inhaling vaporized liquids. That may just be me. Just a heads-up to those who don't know, be safe y'all.

No, when you meet your soulmate you will not always make each other happy. The goal is growth in a relationship where you support each other, even if DEEPLY unhappy. The husband hated the suboxone phase, but he helped immensely during detox. He did not enjoy my early bipolar.

I don't love some of his PTSD symptoms. We think differently about a ton of things. We argue, and we make up.

The sex has to be the best you have ever had though. If not, it's not your soulmate, and you can't handle that other stuff.

Good luck. My creator gave me an advantage. We both glowed to each other from DAY ONE. We did not date for several years he had to get some really bad, bad women to make him a better man out of his system.

I was still trying to make it work, like with the ex, so I took one look, said, "I don't need THAT."

I will also add, when placed in sketchy and difficult situations with the soulmate, like when I relapsed, my Creator placed people and things in my life to talk about their weird soulmate situations and how it all worked out even if they were freaked out.

But mainly with the soulmate you want to do stuff, be happy, and make them happy EVEN if it's not like "OOH yes, honey let me massage your broken neck for 50 minutes like, YOU do it because doing it makes YOU happy, because they are happy.

Okay lucky gal off to do YOGA. I had a very unhappy marriage and now a SUPER great one, and honestly if we weren't both nuts and sober I don't think it would work..

Okay this happy lady off to do yoga. OOF.

@Blitzdonlife, of course hydrofluoric acid is dangerous. It dissolves glass and concrete.

Using Distilled Water for cleaning after will clean things and make them safe to use, so at most it's a bath in the ultrasonic cleaner with DW.

And don't forget that we use organophosphates for weedkillers, and they're considered safe for home use. But the kicker is organophosphates are nerve toxins, so go figure.

there is no way I would inhale from something that this acid was used on. I used it destroy grease and grim from my chimney. NO matter what you cleaned it up in later, I still would not do it. I mean, WHY?

So I cheated and only re-wicked. Here we are four happy soldiers. And then my mess! I cannot believe I have done this already. This is at my brand new house and I swore I was not going to do this again. I need to make like a secret little room/closet here at this house for all this mess. Disgusted with it. Now I do not even have a basement anymore to hide the table of destruction. Maybe the attic?
