Good morning shinies
Hope everyone is feeling happy and shiny today. I'm starting to feel that Christmas spirit too

I was skeptical at first also. I don't know what the mechanics are on this rda, but at 160 watts, it's still a cool vape. I shut the airflow about half way to get it a little warmer. The flavor and amount of cloud is phenomenal. You only get four or five draws per drip. Probably only use it here at my desk, or at the vape shop, with my vape friends.
My Profile Unity rta is 0.12 ohm, but I vape it at 60 watts. My Serpent Elevate RTA is 0.39 ohm. I vape it 35 watts. I guess I still don't fully understand the relationship between ohm/resistance and wattage/power. I just assumed the less resistance, the higher wattage. Doesn't seem to consistently be the case though. How do the laws of physics apply here?View attachment 856469 I need to be schooled![]()
Good morning Shiny's
Was so dark out when I woke up thought it was closer to 3am rather than 5. Missing the sun![]()
Yes I did. I got it insured even after a bunch of bull.... at the insurance place from my past biting me in my .... But it’s home now
Battery drain | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators
I think I calculated you out right here.. but I guessed at your battery
I don't think your actually hitting a true 160, or you'd be changing batteries in that thing every few puffs..
My son vapes around 100 watts consistently, and his biggest complaint on a three battery mod is crap battery life, and he's constantly changing out batteries.
So something seems off, you need a lot of metal to pull off a cool 160 watt vape, and your not complaining of battery life - and your getting 5 puffs off (1) drip of ejuice?
I'm not even sure I can get 5 puffs in 1 drop of ejuice at 20 watts and the more power the more your sucking down ejuice...
So use that calculator and see if your battery drain is about right in your estimation.. if it's not there's something off somewhere..
Start buying thinner gauge wires for faster ramp. Something like a 32g core 38g wrap.Thank you for the reply. I guess I left out a couple pieces of information. Yes, battery life is abysmal. When I said drip, I meant filling the well at the bottom of the RDA. I am using a heavy clapton wire(9 wraps), and it takes a while to heat up. It is a dual coil RDA also. The one thing I do know, is that I need at least a dual 21700 to run this thing, and maybe drop the wattage some. But, like I said, even with my mod reading 160 watts, it's still a cool vape. I'll get the stats on the wire I used. I used a friends clapton wire at the vape shop, so I can't tell you the gauge or what kind of clapton wrap it was. I do know it was Kanthal. I do like this atty a lot. Great flavor and smooth, creamy clouds.
Don't know if you can get any info from looking at the coils, but...

Mod and tank are both solidly constructed. I bought the pair for the mech, intending to stick the tank in the bottom of the stash box. It was funny to read it was considered a “cloud maker” back in the dayGlad you got your VG Mini going and like it.I remember the Vapor Giant gear was popular some years back. They made quality H.E. gear. I received my order today but didn't start using anything yet. However I did pull out the Van & Del Designs Soul S RDA to have a look/see. I need to get it going with a squonker tomorrow. The mechs I ordered are very nice. I'm a very happy camper too!!!
So how is the vape with the VG Mini?
KFL like?
And the flavor?
. I guess compared to a clearomizer or carto tank it is, but it definitely falls in the Goldilocks zone of loose mtl/rdl wide open. Flavor is quite good, quiet with little turbulence, even at lower watts than a 0.8 coil can handle. Deck is small, but not as tight or fiddly to build as some of its time. Definitely a keeperThank you for the reply. I guess I left out a couple pieces of information. Yes, battery life is abysmal. When I said drip, I meant filling the well at the bottom of the RDA. That's some colorful juice! Just a heads up, but you might enjoy looking for juice that isnt so heavily flavored - the more clear your juice is the better, likely better for your lungs the same as for your coils. .
and I wouldn't go dual 21700, I'd go triple if you like vaping at higher wattages and that leaves you with the 250 dollar Boxer..
the advice Letitia gave is great advice - you don't need to have your watts that high for a good vape. And you may see about playing around with TC some too, that might help get you that perfect draw without the same level of power.
I understand there are youth such as yourself that enjoys it, but I can't imagine that high a consumption level could be good for you... I think at some point your no longer getting any benefit from not smoking anymore when your practically drinking ejuice.

Well, my friend's purple Kroma-a doesn't seem to be charging (I'll take a look at it on Sunday) --- she has other mods on hand, so not an emergency, but that was her main setup (for nearly a year and a half) and her only VW mod. Any ideas on a replacement VW mod that would be comfortable, and either match or complement her purple 24mm Zenith tank? Removeable battery this time, and on sale would be nice![]()
