evening all.
got a few things in today. coils for the fat rabbit, coils and the rba for the vinci x i don't yet have.
also the intake dual. i had mixed experiences with the first but was looking forward to the dual.
unscrewed the deck. oring fell off. disliketthat. spent some time removing the straight glass. top oring shredded. really dislike that.
went with the included multi strand whatevers. legs cut to recommend length using the coily tool rip off (in my defence i have two of the real ones). deck a wee bit tight but not too bad. hex screws screwed nicely.
dry fired. strummed. 0.1 ohms. it'll settle i thought. nope. 0.1 tested on the druga foxy and the sl class. checked screws and the usual. 0.1.
easy to wick. juiced up and flavour and vapor are pretty decent. 0.1 though.
it's strangely good on the sl at 50W with powerful+. that was a worse picture than this though if you can believe that.

Got some good news today.

My white RCM SHRTGN made it to the US from Russia in only one week this time. If the last shipment is any indicator, I should have it in my hot little hands by week's end. It's not all wine and roses, though. I ordered a bunch of fancy handmade coils last week and they've taken an abnormally long time to get here from NJ.

The last scan was early this morning at the local sorting center with an expected delivery of today, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to make it on the truck. Cue the cryptic "undeliverable/no access" scan. I've been looking forward to installing them all week. Womp womp.

Bought it in Chile before the revolts. Whenever I can buy local is a better option, no taxes, belongs to Mercosur. If you don't want to spend that much, a very comparable vape is the Ammit 25. The decks resemble one another way too much!

That helps! I like my Ammit 25 for both performance and ease of build. Maybe after the holidays I can hunt down an authentic

@classwife the Luna comes with a six month warranty. As you got it from Asmodus I’m sure they’ll honor it and either fix or replace. It sounds like a board failure. They’re pretty easy to replace so I expect they’ll take good care of you. If you really like the stab wood you have I would definitely ask them to go that route.

Ah, the rest of us got our Luna’s from another source. I’m sorta scared to tell you where because the clearance price is/was amazingly good and I don’t want you to feel bad if you paid the full rack rate. But if you want any more of them, Sourcemore has been helpful and even provide good customer service (please tell us you got yours on some sorta sale)

@Skunk! so sorry to hear about the fire. The most important is that everyone is ok. Stuff is just stuff. It may take time to replace everything but you can’t replace your loved ones.

The boards in the Luna can be bought for 15 dollars when you shoot their customer service an email asking for one (just an FYI for any future just in case scenarios) - but since you've just made this purchase it seems a return for replacement is in order..

I know what its like, I went through a house fire about 14 years ago that was a total loss, walked away with only my vehicle and the clothes on our backs.... all these years later I still occasionally run across the need for an item I used to have and no longer do. Rebuilding your life from nothing with nothing is a long, slow process..

It sucks - absolutely..

I'm very sorry to hear this skunk. Smoke damage is such a pain but hey the most important thing is that you're all OK. How did it start? Do you know yet?

Good morning or rather almost afternoon. I was gonna get up at 8 with my new alarm. I forgot and woke up at 11. Sigh. Notes I was hoping to do them but instead well, tomorrow I will have to get up at 6 am I guess. I knew I was sleep deprived but really...
