My husbands uncle is a woodworking specialist. He recommended wax even over silicone, that is what my father would have used. He's my reference for everything wood related. He wasn't impressed by the build quality of the Luna, he's planning on making one for me out of a special block of non stab wood he has at the shop. Although my father was also a woodworker, he's an artisan.
I don't think any carpenter (or specialist) worth their weight would be impressed with the Luna. Having said that I love my Luna's. :)

That's awesome of your Uncle to make you a mod. Will it be a squonker? Please post photo's when your Uncle has it finished (in the process of making it too). I'd love to see it.

My father-in-law was a master carpenter and did fantastic work over his time. He used to take me around to newly built homes and point out all the shortcuts (shoddy work or other $$$$ saving shortcuts) others did.

Astron, that stinks. :( It's Florida Vapor Supply's responsibility to file a claim not you. They should be sending you a replacement. I would be very surprised if they didn't.
Hugs! Bless you. I heard they’re going out of business anyway...they still should get back to me tomorrow. I’m not going to blow a gasket over it. If it’s meant to be, I’ll get one. And I pay retail. ;)

He's 91, and he volunteered out of his own volition. I want to make it a mech dual battery (most probably series) although I don't hold high hopes due to his age. Still he goes to the shop every single day and I won't hold my breath. Most probably I will have a new mod in a few weeks!

I fill the old fashioned way too - exactly the same way as you, except I start by chainvaping the RDA semi-dry. And I'm using the original, tighty whitey, Luna bottles ;)

I just pinch and wiggle the bottlle & tube slowly down. And I have a 510 fill bottle, just haven't tried it yet :sneaky:
I must be the frickin' oddball cause I have no problems with the Luna bottles. I stick a piece of paper towel in the 510, pull the bottle (yep, tube comes with it), fill and done. No mess, nothing. When I first got my Luna's the tubes were tight but over time they're fine. I use Luna bottles and the Boxer BF squonk bottles. The Boxer bottles work great in the Luna's. They have the feel of the super soft Cappy bottles.

I don’t have trouble with them either, except for getting the cap screwed on tight. I like the refill bottles just because they’re so much quicker.

Canada always so toasty. Still I love the underground shopping malls in Toronto. A bunch since I was last there!
The tunnels are awesome! I went with Himself when he had meetings there. It was frigid outside, but I could get from the hotel to Hampton Bay etc through the underground without freezing to death. Plenty of shopping and dining opportunities ;)

Im at my moms house. We *might* get some snow flurries tonight (none to stick though). I’m just excited at the possibility of seeing snow fall again. Don’t get that at home.

Has anyone tried the Gemm disposable tanks? I’ve PIEd all my dl/subohm tanks, and I’m sure those gents my girls married will be looking for tanks to “borrow” at Christmas.

Thanks for the reminder. Forgot that I have two Stentorian 30ml refill bottles. You recommended them. I used them for quite a while and they worked great. For whatever reason I went back to pulling the bottles to fill. Silly me, I don't recall why I stopped using them.

Don’t feel bad... I have several of the VV refill bottles, and 10 of the Armageddon ones (at a dollar each, how could I not????). Haven’t used a one, and squonks have definitely been refilled at my house lol

Made some cat collars/accessories for the shelter cats Christmas pictures. It was hard work because since the stroke my fingers are not good at nimble fingered work.

How's the topside performing after a year, is it still going strong?

This stud boy is going home with Stevie?? :shock:you will have little Stevie's in no time. Good catch though. Trapping cats kind of reminds me of fishing
Thanks yes that was the plan . He is starting to settle in already he’s eating apples and sitting by the Christmas tree. I’ve been working hard getting his big pen ready and got him a toy and treats.

Not once has that happened to me, lol. I don't think I've ever locked any mod but the detonator and that was just in my purse. With the CS I do occasionally fire without intending to.
I must put a death grip on them or something. Btw, have you found a way to adjust screen timeout? I haven't really explored much. Too busy enjoying the vape:) If I put a NKFL on there with a Moli p42a it goes for days before recharging. Heaven:)

I'm really enjoying the Van & Del Design Soul S RDA (22mm). They were made in Croatia and all materials are sourced from EU and US factories. Designed, made and finished by V&D Design. The Soul is dual AF and more open than the KRMA AF. The deck is very easy to build on and it can take single or dual builds. The BF pin comes installed by default (a blind pin is included in the spares).

I've been using it on the Armageddon, VAMP Rig and Luna since last Friday. No issues. For me it's shot up to #1 1/2 or #2 for flavor. It is totally in-your-face awesome. I'm running an AVS 26/30 316L 3ID clapton at 0.4Ω. Better pic...

IMG_1512cr.jpg Nice packaging.

I bought mine at The Vape Factor. They have the Soul S marked down to $30 (a steal). Originally they were selling for $140-$160. Van & Del Design Van & Del Design - The Soul S RDA
I like the Soul a lot. In fact I grabbed a second one on Saturday for the stash.

FT has the Soul. $8.63 Soul S Styled RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - 304 stainless steel / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

And the Poet. $6.79 SXK Poet Styled RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - stainless steel / 22mm diameter / w/ BF pin at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

KingPin at VU has an excellent side-by-side-by-side review of V&D's Soul, Jazz and Poet. The Poet is their latest RDA.

looking quick tip quick _ i haven't as such started building. pushed by all the bum coils and spitbacks. and there's a flash sale at cigabuy: Skyhook box rdta is like 10euro... i know it's old etc. but from tutorials looks easy to wick, and if done properly shouldnt leak. airflow adjustment should make it less airy to my taste.
need a quick push, yea or nay

I don't know anything about the SMOK Skyhook kit.

If you haven't done any building yet you may want to consider starting out with a single coil RDA. At least until you are comfortable with building and wicking your own coils.

Something like the KRMA RDA which is very easy to build on and wick. I have a couple and they are excellent.

I'm not familiar at all with the Skyhook but I noticed Cigabuy are all sold out anyway.
