Yes, you're right. It's up to the buyer to declare their taxable out of state purchases. When Gov. Patrick sent out those bills I can only guess that he was forcing us to pay those taxes that we hadn't declared in previous years. It was only for cigarettes and I have no idea if it's still being enforced since I stopped buying cigs online after that. Do you declare your taxable online purchases? I don't. I can't wrap my head around a 75% tax on my vape purchases. I don't know if I should risk it and wait for another one of those bills to come or start sending my US orders to an out of state friend. It's still my purchases and I'm a MA resident so how is that supposed to work:confused:?
Have the out of state friends place the order, just pp them the total. Most sites allow for guest checkout without an account.

You could be buying them and having them sent to a person in say RI as a gift. You could send that friend lots of gifts. They're good friends. Can't tax you on a purchase you made online that never enters the state that was bought as a gift for someone elsewhere and sent directly to them.

I have to remind that this thread is in General vaping Discussion.
It's so easy to forget, you're such a friendly group !
It's been suggested a few times in the past that perhaps someone should open a social/chat thread for yourselves in The Lounge.
Maybe it's time to think about doing that ? :)

Got a tracking number today from my vapeciga drip tip order :D I just used the free shipping option, and they sent it via Singapore post :thumb:

My FT order on the other hand, hasn't been shipped. It's held up by the Narca caps - and as they are what I actually needed, I'm just waiting for them to get to the warehouse.

See? I do have patience

No but I just talked to my friend at the convenience store and he said that it won't make a difference on the MA ban. No flavors allowed (including menthol tobacco) and a 75% tax. That's on top of the 6.25% state tax. What concerns me is that some online vendors are explicit about having to report your purchases and information to your state. I just made a purchase last night from a NJ based vendor and they had the spiel on their website. Litecig has it, too. I have never received a tax bill from MA for vape products BUT when I was still buying cigs and made online purchases I got slapped with a bill. I remember it clearly. Duval Patrick was our governor then. We might be safer with Chinese vendors.

Oh wow!! Big brother is watching. My last 2 purchases were from overseas. Looks like it’ll stay that way or ship to an out of state friend.

But, but, out of the 77,000 posts so far at least a few dozen discuss vape gear. Isn’t that staying on topic?

Built out the Redemption with some triple fused Clapton coming in at 0.16 ohm. The amount of cloud is embarrassing. Pretty good flavor and nicely machined and finished. I would say maybe I can use it outside, but I’m afraid passing cars would have to turn on their fog lights. Definitely great for what it is. It’ll definitely be an occasion type of atty, can’t see using it as an adv unless I was in the Superdome and they allowed vaping.
They are nice RDAs. I've been using mine everyday.

So the Elder Dragon came today. I put in one of the coils that came with it. It is extremely easy to build. I put it on the Luna which is what I got it for. I am pleasantly suprised so far. It has good airflow for a single coil RDA. It is definitely a flavor RDA due to the tight chamber. I'm going to spend a couple days using it but I'll probably get another one.

Does Element Vape have a coupon code?
Has anyone had bad/good experiences with them???
I have used them in the past. Slow fulfillment times but okay otherwise then. Still read complaints about that on various sites.

As a fellow airy fairy MTL vaper, here's my :2c:

With a smaller bore 510 drip tip, using the included 810-510 adapter, it would really depend on how much you can adjust the airflow. The deck is 8 holes of 1mm - I'd be happy vaping that wide open, but I'm a lunatic frankenvaper

So rotate your airflow, and see if you can close off some holes..

Next step is I have no clue on how you can install a single coil, into a deck like this one:
    Vapefly-Brunhilde-RTA-cott-in.jpg

The more knowledgeable can help me out here :nun: but I'd just stick in 2 2.5mm id or 3mm id single wire 28ga coils.

Then turn off the smoke alarm and vape your lil heart out
Yeah, I already came to the conclusion that I had to use two coils. It looks as though the airflow can be shut down pretty far, so I might be able to get something going that won't make me cough my lungs out.

    Morning shinies ;)

Nope, the tallness of the RTA is what put me off it - along with the dual coils. For me personally, I prefer single coil, short RTAs, 2-3.5mm id airflow :D I was just posting my thoughts for @Zazie But I didn't realise it had an additional 4mm airflow hole, so it will probably be too much air for her too :thumb:
The 4ml hole can be shut way down, so there's still hope.

Well, slow would still be faster than China Slow Boat. I’m in no great rush, and my last two FT orders have taken forever. Current one spent almost two weeks at the “processing center”

I haven't seen a coupon code for them. My experiences with EV have been good ones. My last couple orders were for an Ohmsmium in July and when they had Colossal's for cheap in September. I received both within a week.

I'm able to get a reasonably comfortable RDL from My Valkyrie:)
I only open up 3 out of the 8 little holes and have the 4mm hole about half the way open.
It's best to open the 4mm hole opened up some of way at least, that's your airflow going to the coils for the tastiness:p
