Good morning shiners! Happy Friday! I'm expecting a juice delivery today but according to the tracking gods it's at the wrong local post office. Can't wait to see how that shakes itself out. I'll be at a bunch of doctor appointments and testing today so I guess when I get back I'll be surprised one way or another.

I agree. Splitting this thread is not a great idea. Besides, half the cats are vapers, and Stevie is an official member of the thread. Steive is still a mid-season cliffhanger as all her friends are behind bars but she continues to elude capture. It's like watching the second season of Jack Ryan on Amazon video.
I know! I tune in morning with my cup of joe, again around 4-5 with my afternoon cup of joe and then sometimes before bed. On my mind each time I am making the coffee is "I wonder if Stevie has been caught"

Congrats!

Yeah, I’m not thrilled about splitting the thread either. Busy time of year to have one more to follow. I’m going to unwatch the stocking up threads, I guess. I mean I’m all stocked up anyway. And that one is nuts to keep up with.

I received the Kelpie replacement glass 5 pack and 20 Athena bottles yesterday. I like the caps on those, easy to grip.
I unwatched that one, I have not tuned in for over 6 months, I also unwatched 'random DIY' since I merely scroll through when I am bored. I will watch two now but I wish it could still be one. I find when threads get split people get confused and post the wrong thing in the other thread anyway. Lets see if I can keep this straight "shiny buys in shinyitis' and pets and random in the other

The problem of moving to the Lounge is that scattered in among the cats and dogs and rabbits, with an occasional other critter, is that other board members do pop by and get good info on vape gear and sales. Moving to the Lounge will markedly decrease that availability as folks usually stay in the general forum and likely couldn’t find us. Yes, we are a community who have grown close to one another, but we’ve always welcomed other members who stumble in here. In the Lounge they’ll miss that opportunity.

With electricity so expensive as of late, christmas decorations this year became solely a strip of lights just outside our kitchen window and a wreath outside the inner door. So sad...
We don't pay for electricity, internet, TV or telephone. It comes as a token remuneration with the 24/7 superintendent job...

    Morning shinies ;)

I ordered a Hellfire Venom X (20700/18650) mech squonker and an SXK Biochip BF RDA (22mm single coil, restricted DL) from 3fvape. $22 for both and free shipping. The Venom has solid reviews. Everyone who has the BioChip says it screams flavor. It is an interesting design.

Buy Hellfire Venom X Black 7ml 18650 / 20700 Squonk Mechanical Box Mod

Buy SXK Biochip BF RDA 22mm 316SS PEI Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer

I saw that Venom X price earlier this week & was tempted, 3f have some crazy specials going on. Oh and now I want a Biochip RDA and an Elder Dragon RDA :D

Voice controlled outdoor plug arrived today! Now I don't have to go out on the deck in the -11 weather to unplug Christmas lights.

Will setup Alexa and Google with it tonight. Picked up a Geeni outdoor plug last week and the app wouldn't finish connecting it to the WiFi, kept squawking about location services which was fully enabled. Horrible app lots of complaints in the Play Store about it.

Looks like we have to check app reviews along with the actual hardware reviews...

You’ve got to be careful with all these WiFi connected appliances. There’s been a run of people hacking into Ring cameras that have become popular. They either post your live feed on Discord (I know, who would have thought of there) or harass the homeowner or whoever is around by yelling at them through the speaker in the camera unit. Lots of fun seeing your kids room being streamed when you installed it just to make sure you could keep an eye on things.

There’s something about hard wiring some things that still appeals to me. Especially home monitoring or security related. I know wireless is great and saved a ton of money and work, but some of these things don’t have great security built in.

Enjoying the db3 more than expected, the size and weight just works for me. Battery life is almost phenomenal to boot, gotta love a simple chip. Only con would be the battery door; flimsy and loose without batteries and hard to close with. Well worth grabbing a couple attys that will look better on it. Might have to get a couple more for the stash.

I've read some on that, I don't have any cameras at the moment but good to see Google is rolling out new firmware for them to plug the holes. That guy who had his camera and thermostat in the nursery hijacked was too much, at least they caught the douche who did it.

I don't think they are too interested in grabbing control of my plugs though. ;)

I did have my Spotify account hacked from some kid in Kenya, a quick chat with Spotify's CS got everything back under my control. It took months to get my Daily Mix's back to normal, the kid had every HipHop and Rap playlist loaded... The way we found out was the Google Home started playing Rap all by itself at 3 AM one morning. :grr:

And to keep everything vape related, here is my LUX with Aromamizer Plus (15ml). :D

Good to know. I still have my DB in the box. I also enjoy the “hand feel” and weight of that mod. I also was a little concerned about the battery door; at least I know it wasn’t my imagination. I had no idea it has a “simple chip” or that that factor would influence battery life (I still learn every day!)

When I finally do use mine, with it being the Army Green color, I may put my new gold Wotofo Serpent Elevate on top of it, albeit in my mind’s eye I have a short RDA on top of it, just because I think it would look cool.

    morning all.
the thing I've been anxious to take flight outwards is about to and the thing i have been eagerly looking forward to arriving has reached local depot of faraway. both events have brightened this otherwise rather bleak friday.
public transport is so cold i can see my breath in the air. the driver's cab is so tropical they've stripped down to a vest. there must be a balance or this would all grind to a juddering halt.
right, I've emptied my reservoir of cheer and will go delete some tracking numbers. see how they like that.
maybe we should buy our own dc-6 and take care of the transportation ourselves. don't put me in charge of the drinks trolley.
I would absolutely put you in charge of the drink trolley.... I could count on you to never give a short pour ;)

My last two slow boat orders haven’t shown any movement on track17 until they magically appear in the US (FT, Sourcemore). The one Im waiting on went from “origin post preparing shipment” yesterday, to departing the usps center in Connecticut this morning. In the past it’s at least told me it left China, was visiting customs in the US. Throws a kink in my frantic tracking

I thought I replied to this before? I placed a order on
Hi (name edited) - your order has been received.

    Order No.:#11040085701

    Order date: Dec 9, 2019, 8:46:15 PM

The order was delivered yesterday first class usps mail.
It did take 3 attempts to order though the checkout. The age verification is quite wonky!
If they had a good deal I would order again. I was desperate to buy 2 berserker 1.5's.
They’re the only place in the US that has the hellvape md rta, and for just a tad more than it is slow boat. I do have the replacement tanks/glass in my FT cart, but the rta color I want is “7days” there

Loved that but I'm settled on two Vincis. I hate internal batteries.
Since it was essentially free (flawed logic yes, but I’m going with it) I didn’t feel negative about the internal battery. I’ve yet to find a pod or pod-mod I’d rate above mediocre. If. I have to PIF this one, it won’t be so bad since I didn’t pay for it

I received my winnings from the Innokin giveaway. An MVP5 mod, Ajax tank and a box of coils. I only opened the package for a look/see and still need to check it out. Probably tomorrow or over the weekend.

This was my first time winning any vape gear. Very very cool.
For an internal battery mod I've got to say it's probably my favorite. The flashlight on it is legit it's not an afterthought that they just put on there for fun. I've used it many many times in my house when the lights were out and I didn't want to wake anyone up. There's a few options on it that I don't think really work but they're not Vape related options.

The battery lasts for a long time it charges pretty quickly. The tank and coil are great especially for a sub tank. The only negative that I can really think of is the airflow whistles if you close it too much. But that's sort of nitpicking.

There is a pin code that you can put in it I guess to keep other people out of it but it seems at least in mine to reset after 2 hours so don't depend on that. Still use any safety precautions that you might need depending on whether you have children or whatever until you check that for yourself if you need that option.
