Another dirty birdie. They sure were pretty all shiny and new, but that’s too much work, and I do like a bit of rustic charm.

I think that copper and brass look better with patina. It gives them character. That being said, It is a bit toxic. No big deal with something you handle but I would keep the inside of the rda clean since you are inhaling vapor from it. I love the look of the matched metals and i have a copper cap on one of my old mechs but the inside is covered by the stainless deck and delrin chuff cap.

Your neighbors were lucky. Mine had to survive vintage Rod Stewart I played in my open garage. They probably still have nightmares about a 13 year old girl wailing I would rather go blind for hours on end, all summer.

My brother did this. Caught tadpoles everywhere and brought them home to watch them grow into frogs. He also had many different types of frogs, toads and the like. Lots of lizards and once even a baby alligator. Might not seem like a lot but for a kid growing up in So Cal where there is not a lot of nature, it was. Then he moved on to snakes, much to my moms dismay.

I remember as a kid going into the pet department at Sears and seeing the baby alligators for sale. I also remember when you could buy monkeys for pets. It hasn't been that way in Kalifornia for a long time.

I did a mix yesterday which uses 3.5% vanilla ice cream. So I squirted in 3.5g instead of 2.2g. I was able to 'fix' it by skipping the vanilla swirl. But I'm still a twit

For a while I used to transfer my flavorings into the same glass bottles I mixed juice in. One time I grabbed a syringe full of flavoring and squirted it into another flavoring bottle.

When I lived in London in the 70's the people in the flat upstairs used to play Jesus Christ Superstar multiple times a day. I fired back with Hawkwind.

the FT android app is fine for shiny searches but the cart implementation is pretty horrid.
only thing i have in my sights is the evdilo. in purple. will wait for the FT festive discount and hope MAP doesn't interfere with it. should break out the tac21 again but I've been neglecting cell charging of late for some reason. day to day seems really quite wearing at the moment and things get forgotten about. thanks for listening.

I was mixing up a 120ml of juice in a cobalt blue, I had my cobalt blue bottle of nicotine out and open. I squirted 3ml of something like Vanilla Custard into the nicotine bottle instead of the bottle I was adding flavors too

Got a fav Vanilla custard recipe (no banana) Ange? I'm determined to find one that will replace my Killer Kustard addiction. I've tried a few KK clones and tweeked them but I'm only about 70 percent happy.

I use the following for a custard/ice cream/cream base:
3% capella vanilla bean ice cream (or what brand you prefer)
2% capella vanilla whipped cream (or TFA whipped cream)
1-2% wonder flavors Tahitian vanilla cream (or WF vanilla cream extra)
1-2% TFA vanilla swirl

The WF Tahitian vanilla cream may be what you are looking for. @Letitia suggested it to me - it's a rich thick cream with an almost spicy vanilla hint to it. The WF vanilla cream extra is similar, but doesn't have the spice note. I love both

My big brother was a Savoy Brown fan. Me, I more enjoyed the bands that their former members joined- Yes (Bruford), Foghat (Lonesome Dave). I still dream of setting up a state of the art listening room in my basement to listen to all those old lp's. And compared to me, you were rich, having that equipment in college!

Those first two Foghat albums were worn out from the many enjoyable hours! The stereo equipment, a bicycle, beer, cigars and gas money came from my high school job at $1.60/hour. The bike and receiver were the first big ticket purchases in my life, costing about $250 each. They both still work.
