Woke this morning to alerts from my bank...

Went and looked, yep my money is gone.

Seems alot of online shopping was done while i slept.
Most failed except a few from a place called figs? Looks to be a furniture store in Europe.

Really?? They block all the purchases except the ones from another country!!!

Thankfully Christmas shopping is basically done, if not it is now.

Partly my fault as i got lazy and started using my debit instead of credit card. It was easier but guess ill go back to buying on my cc and paying the cc with my bank.

The fraud department doesnt open for about another hour, and last time it took like 2 weeks to return the money. Next check is after Christmas so keep your fingers crossed for me.

So...... enjoy your shiny purchases. Im gonna go to work and cuss some fraud people. Oh and block my card and order a replacement.

Security should be 27/7 – certain spending characteristics should trigger an alert where security would put a freeze on the account until verified. Reporting or calling a fraud help desk is just speaking with a CSR – for banks, these usually operate within normal business hours. CC these could be 24/7

@Hightech Redneck – That sucks. Hopefully you have credit or another means of finances to get you by. The investigation and refund can take some time. If you do not have other finances to rely on, speak with your bank, they may be able to assist. Tis the season and customer services desks maybe extremely busy which could mean long wait times speaking with an agent. Be patient and stay on the line. Delaying the fraud report could mean you are liable for partial of the funds. Good luck

Very much like an electric guitar, that metal tang that doesn't happen when you have an acoustic box. Yet it was very useful when recording something for some record, better than slipping a mike inside the box. And it was very useful for practicing and not disturbing everyone! Haven't played in 10 years, no longer have a place, sometimes miss it!

Never too late to get back and play again if you feel the urge. Such a beautiful instrument

When you've ordered in the past have you ordered from the United States Warehouse or from another?

They have terrible reviews but that doesn't always phase me what I didn't like was how many people said they had contacted the company and didn't get a response multiple times...normal but what really irked me was that every single time someone said something about sending an email and not getting a response they countered with "we respond to all inquiries within 24 hours if you send the email correctly" or something very similar to that. The best companies out there don't get back to every single email within 24 hours. And there's no way that that many people didn't know how to email properly. That just turns me off.

I might still try them out but not with the Pico I want that too badly LOL but I am glad that you had a good experience and that makes me feel better about a future purchase

Morning all <3 I've been busy with strategic pre-holiday planning as of late. I'm in town this year, so we're decking the halls at my SO's new loft. My decorating advice has been politely requested but it's a hollow gesture. We both know it's her way or the highway

No shiny to report. I came to my senses about shipping an already ridiculously priced mod overseas. Maybe it's the couple of days away from you lovely, enabling shinies? I am however, currently considering whether or not three RCM mods is enough. I already know the answer.

Well I for one shall miss you being around. When I go through a phase of no purchasing I still hang around the thread but nothing about it makes me buy anything when I don't want to....well hey, this is me trying to pursuade you to hang around So I'll stop if you have made your mind up then so be it but you will be always welcome here if you fancy a chat

With regard to your daughter.....her story is nothing short of amazing. It is frightening how resistant some people are in taking on board other ways of thinking and doing. With regard to diet being the explanation for most of our ailments I hear this all the time from my family so it's normal for me to try and have a good diet to keep myself well and give my body a fighting chance. When you think about it it all makes a lot of sense. After all everything that happens in your body is chemically based and why wouldn't the action of those chemicals be affected by changes in what you eat as they are the building blocks for the chemicals.

In the 1890s both homeopathy and conventional medicine had an equal status and indeed there were homeopathic hospitals alongside conventional ones. Somehow advances in the conventional medications and results overtook the other and here we are today. The first homeopathic hospital was built in Edinburgh and was very successful.

What is needed today is a synergy again between the conventional and holistic fields.....then we may have the tools to reduce suffering even further.

It's scary just how much resistance there is in people to take on a new set of ideas and it's talking about our experiences that will help to change those ideas. I applaud you for sharing your story about your daughter and hope that @stols001 takes some of it on board. One never knows where our cures might come from

Well, my Shinyitus has taken a turn away from vape equipment for the moment, but never fear! Black Friday brought a new gas range and vent hood for the kitchen, and later this morning I'm going to test drive a new car! Just in time for Christmas, and in stunning red which the wife will like. So, all is good! Wish me luck!
