Sydney Australia
@Pigs @Daniel Forsyth and the rest of our shiny friends from The Land Down Under. I hope you all get some relief soon.

Australia just had its hottest day ever recorded - and it may get even hotter

Thanks @Rob B. My aunt's house was in a dedicated emergency zone today- flames close enough to be visible until a lucky wind shift saved a town. Saturday will be even hotter and the fires are raging out of control. My daughter and her partner cancelled their scheduled Xmas visit as of a few hours ago because the main routes to Sydney from Canberra are too dangerous to drive - the 6 lane intercity Hume Highway closed yesterday.
40 houses were lost in one firestorm 12 hours ago and the nightmare continues. Our firefighters both professional and volunteer are out on their feet and hospital waiting rooms are filling up with people who can't breath properly.
Meanwhile our erstwhile Prime Minister is on holiday overseas enjoying martinis under the shade of a beach umbrella.

goodbye
I have tried twice to say something and the forum (or GOD) is not letting me say it the way I want. Fred please stay with the thread. Your input is valuable. There are stupid people everywhere and unfortunately they have keyboards. Use the ignore button. You would be surprised how many do

Don't go Fred. This is a great community. I love reading your comments and input. Be a shame to leave because of one person.

i think it's nearly evening all.
little to report apart from EPOS aggravation and mending.
sourcemore gave me a shipping notice and tracking number for my evdilo but the tracking number is in no way recognisable and doesn't suggest which service may be transporting it. they have been sent an email.
not entering into thread goings on but i value the input and banter from all of you. I'm not even close to being a frequent poster but this place has helped get me through some tough times of late and will continue to do so. sounds a bit sad but when it's 1 in the morning and all is dark it's beneficial to wade through posts and personalities. shinies and subjects.
i stepped back from every bit of so called social media years ago and this is my only haunt. I've made friends with so many more people than i would have thought possible.
guess you're stuck with me.

Oh how I thought that I was certain that I wanted the Pico 21700 until while searching I found the tvl Delta Revenant with the Omni vaporesso chip. I don't know why they did this but they crippled the chip so this is a wattage only device but honestly when it comes to squonking I'm not really interested in temperature control I've got enough to monitor and it's not like I don't have other TC mods. Since I'm getting the Colossal I sort of already have checked the box for a tiny mod that does temperature control well.

I have a tendency to actually prefer larger more heavy mods. I might go ahead and grab this interesting squonk where you're not really squonking it's got a pump. And get this it's a bottom fill squonk.

I am a little dismayed that it doesn't come with an extra squonk bottle but it's not a bottle I'm going to be pushing a lot so there's not going to be any wear and tear on it. Still would be nice to be able to change my flavor.

They stole the name reload from another popular RDA and their version of the reload appears to be built for a mesh application which I have been wanting to get an RDA that does mesh oddly enough so they don't include mesh they include coils lol. I've heard the flavor on it is very very average. However I still want a mesh RDA and this does fit the bill technically if I hate it I have other bfs.

And then the kicker it comes in rainbow the snowwolf that I'm ostensibly replacing was rainbow and I had always wanted a Rainbow Mod. I absolutely love the look of rainbow finishes on things but I had never got one because I always got mods that were old and the rainbow had already been sold out.

Prayers for everyone there that the fires can be brought under control. It truly looks like hell on earth, frightening in its enormity. And fingers crossed that your PM gets eaten up by sand mites or whatever particularly irritating beach critters you have. It would serve him right for leaving in the midst of such a horrendous disaster!!! And, please let all the frogs in ;).

Happily stuck with you ;)!!! I think I get almost as much enjoyment out of seeing everyone else’s shinies as I do mine. Certainly helps when I have nothing in the works

I think about 50% of my friends have me on block because of all the "please someone adopt this pet" stuff I post
Good thing we’re not FB friends then... I’m a sucker for rescues. The only thing saving me is Monk is too fragile for a younger dog in the house, and Catdog hates other cats. After all she’s been through (we think she’s btwn 9-11 years), she deserves a peaceful, as she wants it rest of her life. Now, if someone came up with a “vape rescue”, I’d be all over it.... neglected squonk or unbuilt rta stuffed in a closet? Absolutely, I’ll give it a loving home

I think I’m down to just bits and bobs to order. Nothing recently has lit a shiny fire in my heart. Waiting on extra glass to get in stock at FT, and the Boost’s rba pod to hit the US. (Probably wait till January in hopes the $$ will drop once the new wears off.).

Interesting note.... A new Innokin mod (kroma r, external 18650) was announced on FB last night by Demi. And, it’s NOT being released in the US.

But that stuff is awesome! It's all the personal TMI stuff that people feel a burning desire to share with the world that I can't be bothered with.

We support a local rescue here in town when we can, the woman who runs it has a boutique and she pays the majority of it out of her own pocket, so every little bit helps.

This is Cher, she's a special needs young girl that was brought in from a foster in Baton Rouge LA. A dog attack left her with spinal damage but she is not paralyzed. Time was running out, the foster searched for a permanent home, none to be found from California to Texas so she was destined for euthanasia. The woman from the local rescue applied to take Cher, her husband offered to drive down and pick her up but the foster put her on a plane and flew her here to Nova Scotia.

Hopefully with a lot of love and rehab this little girl will walk again.

The Delta is a great squonker, too bad they put a crippled firmware in it though. The best thing for the included RDA is to leave it in the box. I've tried it with various regular coil/mesh builds and it is severely lacking in flavor. It not worth the time tinkering with IMHO, the way the deck is designed you are stuck with mounting the coil dead center and that is too far away from the air holes in the cap. I've tried mesh RDAs before and never really got on with them, dry hits from them are the nastiest dry hit you'll ever experience. ;)

There are many that love Mesh RDAs and supposedly a few work quite nicely.

    I run a B2K on my Delta.

I'm glad that I get a vote of confidence at least on The Mod :) Maybe I'll use the RDA for when I either have vapers tongue, when flavor is overwhelming me or when I'm vaping unflavored LOL oddly enough at least on the site I'm getting it on it costs less with the RDA so maybe they're just so desperate to get rid of it spent there offering a discount if you're willing to take the mod with it :)

    Rescue people are AMAZING!

Couldn’t mash that “Agree” rating any harder!!

Anyone catch the Bionic Vet or Supervet series on Netflix? They are about veterinary surgeon Noel Fitzpatrick (based in UK) and his remarkable feats at saving our 4 legged friends. He’s been recognized as the first veterinary surgeon to successfully apply an amputation prosthesis to a cat named Oscar who lost his hind paws from a combine harvester.

Some of the episodes can be found on YouTube. Severe tearjerker warning!!

I think the RDA was something that was designed a while back when the Mesh RDA hype was at it's peak. The RDA didn't quite work out as planned, they had already machined a ton of them so it was put on a shelf. Along comes the Delta squonker which was the perfect place to unload these RDAs. Getting TVL to endorse it and Revenant Vapes to sell it was hopefully a ticket for success. But when you cripple the firmware and throw in a meh RDA it all backfires as the reviewers will pick up on the flaws in an instant.

An extra tank would have been nice (you can't even buy them) and a firmware update to put the Omni 4.0 features back, but I highly doubt we will ever see either of those. I do like the 1A charge rate and the timer that counts down until full charge, would be nice to have the H-N-S modes as well as TC for me but it is a good VW mod.
