10 min from a town of 850. You're living the good life Ange. I used to live in the country, but now they're building 300k houses out here. Feels like we're being eliminated. As a kid I wandered the pastures, but now it's all turning into private lots. Progress is a strange thing for sure.

I know, spent a few years in a big city of 250,000 - tiny by the standards over there ;)

I am grateful every single day I live and work on a farm, in one of this country's most scenic areas

Use a vape band to keep it closed

Good idea. Too bad it ruins the look of the atty. I just sent an email to Ephro and Vic to see if there’s a fix.

I found one UK site selling replacement caps but they were out of stock plus the cost of shipping would be just too much.

It’s too bad. I paid over $30 for this rta and expected better. I love it and the flavor is almost overwhelming using commercial juice but to have the cap slide so easily is not good qc. I know it’s mass produced Chinese but I get some great quality gear from China that works as expected.

Unfortunately I’ve bought so much vape gear lately I don’t remember where I bought it from. I save all the electronic invoices but of course I can’t find this one.

I wish I had known this before purchasing or at least paying full price for it.

I’ll do the vape band suggestion for now. Thanks for that idea!!!

But the flavor is really great, am I correct.

OMG the flavor is crazy good. I’ve been using commercial juice as I recover from a broken hip and I’ve been adding VG to the tank it’s so flavorful just to dilute it a bit lol!

my DIY juice doesn’t have nearly as much flavor as commercial juices so i think it will be so powerful.

    I live 10 minutes from a tiny town, pop 850 ;)

I zoomed in that pic and could not believe the amount of lanes and traffic. A traffic jam in this town is when Kev moves his mob of sheep from his place, to the sale yards in town ;)
Now I want to go live with you even more.

I’ve never seen this before. Have you used it before? I definitely need this if it works well. I sometimes use my teeth lol!
Haven't bought it yet, in wishlist at BCF. Here's a video from wllmc with some handy bottle opening tips.

Hola Shiniies! I am alive! Tired, but, yeah ALIVE! It's nice to see everyone and I bought nothing and received nothing in the mail (I have China stuff due but WHO knows) because my work did this EXTRAORIDNARILY grinchy thing where they were like "We have had difficulties with processing the stipends with this month's paycheck so you will get them December 26th.

My stipend approaches 1K per MONTH. I have had crazy weird costs (including fix house costs) I am NOT pleased, I was planning to use that money on you know, GIFTS.

Some, like my kiddo, can wait until the 26th for some dough. Others, like my nephews and nieces, would not understand "cash flow problems."

I worked crazy hard this week. Husband is coming up Monday through Christmas. I am allowing it because he is Very Close also I MISS HIM. Also, well, the outside painters can't even PAINT yet because i'ts been cold and wet and now they are in Mexico celebrating the holidays. Yep.

It's a bad time to paint outside. So I said "okay." The husband and I thankfully agreed no presents were necessary other than a TON of "adult time."

If you haven't lived a rural life yet, there's no way in knowing if you'd love it or hate it. Ideas are just that, ideas. The idea of living out in the middle of nowhere appeals to many people, especially those in urban areas. Thing is that the majority of that thinking is based on romanticism, it ignores some of the things that get taken for granted in modern life. Grocery shopping, for example. It's different planning ALL your shopping on a 1 time per month trip vs. forgetting something and being able to pop in at Walmart or the Convenience store. Then there's utilities, gas especially, or kerosene in cold climates. Running out is not an option in the winter, and planning ahead is essential. There's a lot of other differences. The trade off is peaceful surroundings, a meaningful connection with the world around you, and some intangible things that have to be experienced to be understood personally.
Some take to it, some hate it with a passion.

I live in a small, dying town. The only year-round businesses are a modest grocery store and a hardware store right in town and a convenience store out the road. The nearest "big" town (pop. around 2200) is thirty miles away. WalMart is an hour away. The isolation of @AngeNZ's location would be fine by me. Far too many people here.

P.S. I haven't gone outside the town limits for anything but medical stuff and family emergencies for more than fifteen years.

Oh, wait, I'm lying: I have gone to the bigger grocery store thirty miles away maybe four times over that stretch. Pretty daring.

I grew up in Toronto Ontario Canada. The main highway (401) that runs through the core of the city is 18 lanes wide in spots. ;)

Meet one of the very few Armageddon squonk mods in NZ :w00t:
To my and @Fredman1 's Secret Santa: You absolutely rock

And I hope you don't mind me letting the Luna out of the bag @ShowMeTwice but gestures like this, just blow me away. Right, any more and I will cry, so on with the mod!
I don't know what to say...like in, I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY.
This came totally unexpected and believe me it is VERY much appreciated. Don't tell anyone, but its THE best Christmas present this year....I really really really wanted one but the shipping to NZ was just way out of proportion.
Our sweet @Letitia messaged me and offered that one could be sent to me, but I turned her down...very appreciativelly (I couldn't believe someone would do that for me). I however reluctantly accepted that maybe it just wasn't to be for me. I kept drooling every time you people talked about it though !!!
Now this.... @ShowMeTwice mate I still haven't got the right words....other than Thank You . This gesture will stay with me for ever. Muchly appreciated !!!
@AngeNZ has contacted me and will forward it to me.
LOL right now i'm wishing this holiday would end... I wanna be back home and wait for my Armageddon that's coming

I had a driving job in Atlanta from 2000-2009. Tell me about Atlanta traffic. The only thing worse is L.A. traffic
Yep. I believe your statement has been verified multiple times. Thankfully, I don't have to get into this very often these days.

I drive Uber in LV. For a city of 2.5 million, traffic really isn't too bad. We lived in Boulder City (pop 15,000) for a couple years and ended up moving back to the city. Loved it out there but any comparable jobs paid much less and I got tired of the commute. We still go out there for holidays and festivals. It is a cute and friendly place. I always thought about living in a rural area but I don't think it would be the right fit for me.
