I know I was ....... It’s gonna be cheaper to smoke or the same price soon. Even without buying new shiny vape gear all the time. It’s hard to quit smoking with that nic cap on something like a pod system. People generally need more nicotine than they had when smoking to quit since were not getting those alkaloids and other chemicals they put in cigarettes making for a faster nicotine delivery. At least I know I did.

I bet it’s gonna be throughout Canada now. The reasoning is because kids are doing it. I still don’t understand how taxing us adults is going to stop kids vaping.
Sub-ohming delivers the nic fast that's why your nic needs to be lower than most mtl vapes. I think you'll be fine but I agree, this whole thing is messed up.

Think you might have deal with the vendor.
Warranty-OBS
Thank you for the information Letitia. Thing is both OBS and Vaporl are in China. Looks like I have no choice though according to their statement. Welp, here goes another month or more of waiting. Good thing it wasn't an item on the top of my list.

Can't hurt to message obs about the vendor's extortion attempt. Did you read vaporl's actual warranty statement?

I was skeptical at first also. I don't know what the mechanics are on this RDA, but at 160 watts, it's still a cool vape. I shut the airflow about half way to get it a little warmer. The flavor and amount of cloud is phenomenal. You only get four or five draws per drip. Probably only use it here at my desk, or at the vape shop, with my vape friends.

My Profile Unity RTA is 0.12 ohm, but I vape it at 60 watts. My Serpent Elevate RTA is 0.39 ohm. I vape it 35 watts. I guess I still don't fully understand the relationship between ohm/resistance and wattage/power. I just assumed the less resistance, the higher wattage. Doesn't seem to consistently be the case though. How do the laws of physics apply here?View attachment 856469 I need to be schooled:blush:
Have you ever used Steam Engine?

Just bought it in blue last week on sale!! It works fine but it’s a bit heavy. Not a problem for me but some may like it.
Do you have one?
Looking at it. Thought it would accommodate my Aromamizer Plus nicely. One vaper said so anyway. Yeah, can't get away from the weight of those xx700s.

Yes, I did. And that's when I messaged OBS direct and explained. Btw, your words are well chosen. It really is extortion when you think about it.

How's about a pic, Don? I'm interested in the Serial Killer coil for my CnR Series mech mod.
Killer Coils.jpg

Here is a picture of my Killer Coils in my Goon 1.5. They are 3mm I'd 6 wraps .16-.17 ohms a pair. The Serial Killers look the same except they are 4mm id 10 wraps .32-.34 ohms a pair. I did enter these coils in a build contest (nothing big 20 entrants I helieve) and took 3rd place. The reason they got 3rd overall was because of performance. They don't look special but looks are deceiving. I was selling these coils for awhile and then ran into some health issues and had to quit. I made these coils for use in single battery mech mods using dual coil RDAs. I have some friends that only use RTAs and love them. They say they can run them at lower wattage and get the same performance. It's all I use anymore. The only complaint I had from a couple people is they weren't hot enough. They took off 1 wrap and it solved that problem. I will not make coils with a resistance lower that .15 ohm per pair.

If anyone is thinking about buying a Voopoo Vinci X my review has posted. Thanks for the look.

VOOPOO VINCI X REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322
As always I'll come back and read yours after I've posted mine....it's a goody though isn't it. Voodoo seem to be thinking hard about their design lately and taking good note of the general market trends.

Hope you're doing ok Bob..... Cheers Charlie :)

I would consider a broken door a defective product. Here's the last paragraph of their "Guarantee & Return" page Guarantee & Return :
About Refund
About defective product, we can ship replacement with your new order or refund you. We will refund to your order payment mothed. Refund is usually done in 3-5 workdays. If you have any question, pls reach out to our Customer Service team via email support@vaporl.com

I would hold them to it and request a refund. Sometimes you have to be insistent. Good luck!

wotofo cotton/coils particularly good? i been looking and this is mauch more expensive than most things around

thnking between braided and quadcore... the tri is two low for me now i think
I would look into Ni 80 pré built coils. Faster ramp up on exotics so you can push the envelope a bit and have more flexibility in your choices. There are coiling companies out there who almost exclusively deal in Ni 80 because demand is so high......hope this helps :)

The v3 InBox uses a standard squonk bottle not their old proprietary one everyone hated. ;)

I too have had my eye on the dotSquonk. I should have grabbed one when dotmod had their BF 50% off sale. They have it for $99 and it would have been $49.50. Oh well, next time around.
Did have a V3 Inbox that got mangled when I got out of the car, had it between my legs and went down in a side curb puddle. Couldn't save it. It was good while it lasted, but nowadays I'm onto non regulated devices.

60/100 bucks for a bridge compared to the 6 bucks for the Vinci X bridge is what I'm ranting about.
Yes....the BB rabbit hole is not a cheap one for sure and as they become more popular prices aren't getting cheaper that's for sure :)

Must be a nightmare getting hit with such bad postal charges....I read somewhere that inflation is a big problem over with you at the moment?

I've got the Vinci X and the standard and it's very convenient for sure. Is it a better vape than the BB......well no, not IMO :)

Forgive me for butting in...if you’re talking about the Wotofo Serpent Elevate, I have made it no mystery that I am a new, huge fan of this RTA. A more experienced member recommended this tank to me over a month ago, I bought one, and had immediate success with it. My experience with RTAs is fairly varied and about three years old, but I quit using them in 2016 once the SMOK Beast series took hold (I worked at a vape shop and needed to use the merchandise we sold).

Since my first purchase of the Serpent Elevate, I have since bought two more, for my deeming stockpile of gear. One was a gold one, as well :)

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it; I feel it is a very forgiving tank. I have labored over wicking it and also thrown in a wick (I do splurge and buy the Wotofo wicks from FastTech) - both methods worked fine. In a month, I have only recoiled it once. Right now I’m running a totally plain 22g wire at about .4 and 37w and I am very happy with it.

I hope everyone is having a good winter so far, and a great holiday season. :)
If you buy cotton again try the Firefly. Comes in 3 sizes, 2.5, 3 and 3.5 mm. Great cotton, brought a bunch with me.
