I live in Roquebrune sur Argens but in currently in my specialist cancer hospital in Nice in the Alpes maritimes. It's very close to Monaco and the Italian border

Sounds lovely! I’m going to search out Photos and the areas history. My ancestry is from France but I’m still gathering information and details. Since I’m adopted there’s not a lot to go on but it’s fun finding things out!!

Bought from Gearbest in 2016. Blonde leather. I was so impatient for it to arrive at the time that I bought another one from MFS (brown leather doors) which arrived about 2 weeks earlier. Never did unwrap the first one.

After I got the Therion I considered one of these. Biggest issue at the time was I didn't want to drip and I didn't want to deal with a tank.

Nice looking mods.

It was my first decent quality mod. Still use my brown one often - only negative is it's a bit rough on battery wraps

I saw that on the national news. Whistleblower suddenly dies hmmmm of course it’s quite possible but when talking about China Russia etc... people who speak out unexpectedly die or go missing far too often. It’s frightening.

My brother is researching the family ancestry. We always knew my dad’s side was Irish/Scottish but also learned my mom’s side was part French. Wish we’d known sooner, my great aunts would have been thrilled.

Morning all!

I awoke from a nightmare that something large was chewing through my house. Turns out it was a town worker on a bobcat plowing the sidewalks lol

Good morning Charlie. :) Glad things are going some smoother for you. It sure does brighten up my day when I come here in the morning and see your posts. I hope tomorrow is the day your doctor finally gives you the ok to go home. I have never been to the part of France you live in, or Nice. When I was on the Nimitz(US Aircraft Carrier) in the Navy, we did visit Marseilles on my second Mediterranean cruise. I had a lovely time, and would love to visit Europe again. Naples Italy was our Eropean home port,, and we got to visit all over Europe while in the Mediterranean. Maybe my wife and I will do that after Matthew goes to college. Take care my friend. The finish line is in sight now.

Totally off topic but, Rob B when you're out in bad weather on an aircraft carrier, is the deck steady for walking on?

That big ship was pretty steady. Barely noticed the big, long rolls, even in stormy weather. Over 3 football fields long(1,092 ft), 6,000 crew, and over 100 aircraft.
