That big ship was pretty steady. Barely noticed the big, long rolls, even in stormy weather. Over 3 football fields long(1,092 ft), 6,000 crew, and over 100 aircraft.
That's a mighty impressive machine. They know you mean business when that heads their way.

Good luck and good to see you

I know a lot of people have much better Google-fu than I. So does anyone know of an American company that is selling Notch coils? In a multi-pack or at a reasonable per unit price. The kind that you would put in an rta Not the commercial type coil ones.. Specifically the wismec theorem Notch coil But anything similar to that. It would be really nice if I could find one that has the little Notch coil tool to help me bend it because I suck at manipulating my coils.

Good morning Charlie. :) Glad things are going some smoother for you. It sure does brighten up my day when I come here in the morning and see your posts. I hope tomorrow is the day your doctor finally gives you the ok to go home. I have never been to the part of France you live in, or Nice. When I was on the Nimitz(US Aircraft Carrier) in the Navy, we did visit Marseilles on my second Mediterranean cruise. I had a lovely time, and would love to visit Europe again. Naples Italy was our Eropean home port,, and we got to visit all over Europe while in the Mediterranean. Maybe my wife and I will do that after Matthew goes to college. Take care my friend. The finish line is in sight now.
Thanks Rob... they're letting me out tomorrow afternoon to continue my recovery at home. If I need transfusing I will be ambulances back to the day hospital here. I have trained nurses who will visit and take my blood tests when I'm at home so looking forward to being a proper family again.

Your Mediterranean experience in the navy sounds great. You must try and get over for a visit.....so much to see and do much beautiful stuff to do in Europe :)

Take care my friend

    Morning shinies ;)

They're tiny. My calipers are dead. If you end up needing one I could probably pull a spare off one of my decks and send it.

Ange if you need one, let me know. It'll be quicker if I send you one.

Thank you, you two. I still have spares, it was more for stocking up in the future

Can someone remind me of why I’d use an RDTA on a squonker mod. Is it just for the added capacity or that and some other reason as well.

    Thanks

Extra capacity and good for when you are distracted and forget to squonk. Which I still do regularly

The Pumper is perfect for an RDTA too, since it doesn't suck juice back. Mine either has a Haku Riviera RDTA or a NarCa RDA on it

Only three months down the rabbit hole but I can address for the SXK Haku Riveria (which is fantastic!); may apply to other squonk RDTAs. For me it’s about wick saturation. Like an RDA (though better), you can over saturate when squonking and end up with a liquid-heavy vape that doesn’t aerosol well, spits, and can gunk coils/burn juice. And, if not paying attention, you can oversquonk (i.e. juice running out the airholes). On Riveria, juice delivers and returns from both deck and tank. And you have to overfill both to oversquonk. With the juice level plainly visible, oversquonking is banished. The other (and to me, larger) benefit is that excess juice not absorbed by the wick, or immediately returned to the bottle, drains off quickly to the tank. The result is a highly consistent, and nearly perfect, wick saturation. Recommend a try; ECF fan club seems to be forming. Enjoy!

What @AngeNZ said. Plus an RDTA is useful if you have a tendency to squonk too enthusiastically.

It's Friday, Sun's up in an hour or so and I refuse to work (much) today.

My nearly 14 yo son's being harrased by a group of older students at his school after one of them picked a fight with him and lost. My boy is physically tough but resultant Instagram bullying incidents (by the publically humiliated older kid and his crowd) combined with rumours of revenge had my son spend the day at home yesterday.

Also adding to the stress, his high school has a 70 percent ethnic Chinese student body (not involved in the bullying) and many who were on mainland China during the holidays are returning back to school now after their mandatory 2 week quarantine.

It worries me that this "2 week no symptoms means safe" decision was come at very early in the understanding of Covid19.
    What if it's really 3 or 4?

    Strange times.
