Jeez. Piles of mail were opened today. It was not good.
Forget RETURNING shopping carts, I am going to try STEALING them. I may actually NEED them.
So, I cancelled my SSDI insurance when I got health insurance at work... .So I thought. Unfortunately, I forgot the first time I was on SSDI, like, they deemed me "so irretrievably mentally ill" (I kept telling them they should get to know me first, honestly, but my 5 week forced stay at the psych unit was like, my doctor hated me so much, his assessments were really rather cruel, and also completely untrue in many cases. To get OUTTA there (he kept extending my commitment paperwork) I had to go before a mental health judge and he let me go to the State Hospital where they put me on like 3000 mg of Seroquel at some points in time-- the irony, my doc wanted me to STOP it due to high cholesterol, I bet he wishes he had not done that-- while they detoxed me off 15 other meds (no lie, thank God like, he did not have access to ECT) and well, I had to sign a commitment to outpatient treatment like I was somehow noncompliant and I signed it because I was like, "Whatever, I have missed ONE doctor's appointment, so F it.
So my paperwork well it did not look good and to be fair sleep was an issue and at one point, I got my period (5 weeks, remember) and was so medicated I'd like zonk out into another (nicer) universe and that was in the assessment too, "Cannot changer her pad." I think I yelled "You try remembering your period on these meds DUDE!" He also did NOT like it, not one bit when he forbade cursing in his office (I literally can't help it) and I was like, "what piece of (censored) medical school did YOU go to, Dr. (censored.) Did they not teach you I AM THE PATIENT? THAT MEANS I am not (censored) here to meet your dependency needs!"
I think that was one visit (he always was tossing me out for rule violations) and like, I sat sobbing on the corridor. There was this one day I just sat before the pane of crooked glass and waited for the chipmunk and pulled my hair out one by one.
So SSDI was like, "Um we can't give you this money you are unable to manage your menstrual cycle." so I was not ALLOWED to sign the form ,the husband had to sign it. I also notified them upon my return to work (ALSO not kosher) so like I owe them 500 bucks for insurance I did not even USE, and like 2K for them to catch up to my overpayment.
God. Well, I am stocked up. LOL I will have to go see if me and my "guarantor" can like, set up a payment plan or SOMETHING.
GAH.
Nelnet called too. They managed my student loan which was discharged. I will admit I could not face them in that moment (no thyroid) but I'm gonna have to get back to them.
We are just hemorrhaging money and my guarantor sucks, apparently (to be fair he has much on his mind,, but if I get disabled again, I am making my little sister do it. She is a lawyer. She will stay on top of this stuff.
To be fair, this is a drop in the bucket, but the bucket is just getting very full!! I don't know how much longer I can pay a mortgage on a house I want to bulldoze, and a house I am renting that if 15 larger than we need. Oy.
