Deadly poisonous spiders are relatively rare in the USA. Even here in Texas, the worst ones are the brown recluse, and the black widow, and their bites are usually survivable though painful. Poor spiders get a bad rep, I blame the movie Arachnophobia for this.
Australians have all kinds of reasons to fear spiders, though. Americans are lucky in that department.

Rayon is good, especially for RDTA's. I've been shamefully using cotton (who's kidding, I have no shame :p) in bf rda's lately because it's easy to rewick and I have a bunch of it I need to use up. It's working just fine.
Why is rayon especially good fore RDTAs? They seem like the unfussiest wickees around--are you telling me that rayon makes them even more accommodating?

I was speaking of the Australian creepy crawlers and slithery beasties. They seem to have the market cornered on deadly or toxic biting things there.
We had brown recluse spiders in Missouri. The bites do suck.
We have huge, hairy wolf spiders here, but not dangerous I don’t think. Just creepy because they hop. And they’re HUGE. But, they eat roaches/palmetto bugs... so, they’re forgiven. Whatever else creepy crawly we have is snapped up by the bazillion anoles and geckos. Apparently I live in reptile central lol.

Do I want/need/ need not consider a dotmod dotaio? If I do, does vapor range have a code? I may have already used any available from them.
I recently watched the entirety of the Australian doc soap opera All Saints. More than one episode featured spider panic.

    Rayon is consistently fluff-n-stuff.

Fluff it out, and then you should feel some tension pulling it through the coil.

Fluff the tails, trim to rough desired length, then stuff the fluffed tails into the rdta wicking holes. The fluffed tails should fully fill the holes, moderately snug

I don't have to guesstimate expansion like with cotton, leave extra space.

My (maternal, Broken Hill living grandmother) got bitten by a black widow spider and there wasn't much treatment then. She got mighty sick, but she did not die.

But, she was a tough old bird without A BIT of sweet streak. She really was absolutely hateful the running joke was, "If grandma BIT a black widow spider, IT would die."

She is not the kind of person who would knit a sac with "ball sac" on it (even non ironically) and post it as a joke, in fact, the idea of knitting would not occur to her and if she needed like, a place to put her shriveled balls, she would skin, tan, and hide an ACTUAL ball sack and shove it on the mantle. And you'd be like..... what is....that..... and you would back away in horror (whether you realized or not) and sometimes she'd say stuff like, "bring me that sac on the mantle there" and you would do it. Because there is tough and then there is TOUGH.

Also, there is MEAN and then there is MEAN. As she was approaching, oh I believe 93 something my mom decided to visit before she died.

This mother and daughter had not seen each other for probably I want to say 45-50 years? LOL.

The first words out of my grandmother's mouth were, "Cor, bimey you got fat, dinn ya?"

She babysat me and my older brother when we were infants. It was one of the few times where like, we had the exact same reaction: no grief, no happy thoughts, just a sort of, "Oofff, that's over then, I guess?"

It is also one of the few times I truly believed that what you did not remember as an infant could VERY MUCH hurt you. LOL.

I got bit by brown recluses twice on the face (one each cheek was hoping for dimples) but fortunately I figured out like, what was UP and what to do and did it FAST.

Then, I bought my first can of RAID,. Vat. Whatever. You can't trust the job to anyone but YOU not in AZ you can't.

I lived in Aus for 3 years in Sydney riding out in the bush and everything. It was totes fine.

    Thank you, got 3

I could get 2 pairs of shoes for the price of one of these....this is what rolls through my head anytime I consider a stabwood
The thing is, I'm much more likely to be contented with a mod than even two pairs of shoes (I have tricky feet).

On the other hand, I've found a site where I could get a decent pair of bespoke shoes for the same price as a Vicious Ant stab . . .

Hmm . . . I've got some thinking to do.

Sounds Exactly the same process as my Vapefly Shoelace cotton;)

I wish I remember where I saw it but they're literally selling it for $5 I think it's on the Kanger wholesale website then again it's probably too late now. You probably didn't pay that much I think it's an astounding RDA for the prices i have seen.
Thx, I just looked but you have to login to get the price. They're having a 20% off sale now anyway. Last time I tried to order from MFS they wouldn't ship to MA.:-x

I tried to place a $29.98 order at VaporDNA and the cheapest shipping was $12.99! It was always around $7 for me. What the #@*& is happening? They said something about adding charges for mandatory signature at delivery per certain state regulations. Has anyone heard of this?

I love using rayon. I never have had any leaking issues in any RTA using it. It’s very forgiving. I’ve never used cotton but I see lots of people having so much trouble wicking with cotton I can’t help think that some of the problems may be avoided with rayon. @stols001 ’s advocacy for rayon was what caused me to use it when I started building 2 years ago. There’s a fantastic thread on using rayon somewhere. A quick search should find it. I can’t remember the exact name of the thread but it’s really informative for anyone thinking of trying it out or having difficulty wicking with cotton.

I was bitten by a brown recluse spider several summers ago. Ended up in the hospital with cellulitis. And omg it hurt and was soooooo itchy. My entire arm blew up to almost twice it’s regular size.

I didn’t think we even had those spiders in Massachusetts but yep they’ve made they’re way north.

Ive been sending my orders from vendors who won’t sell to mass residents to a friend in New Jersey who then ships to me. I’ll have to have a friend in a different state after May since NJ is going to have a flavored ejuice ban too.

Some vendors won’t ship orders unless the credit card address matches the shipping address now. Is stupid on their part because they’re losing sales on hardware at a time when the future of selling vape products may end in May.

I have found a few vendors still selling juice to MA residents which I’m surprised at. The attorney general just charged several vendors doing that last week.

I’ve had a few orders that also required an adult signature for delivery as well but don’t recall the shipping charges going up. Tbh if I want something enough I just pay the charges unless it’s ridiculous.

I believe most online vendors will start requiring a signature on all their shipping as a way to try to eliminate underage purchases.

Jeez. Piles of mail were opened today. It was not good.

Forget RETURNING shopping carts, I am going to try STEALING them. I may actually NEED them.

So, I cancelled my SSDI insurance when I got health insurance at work... .So I thought. Unfortunately, I forgot the first time I was on SSDI, like, they deemed me "so irretrievably mentally ill" (I kept telling them they should get to know me first, honestly, but my 5 week forced stay at the psych unit was like, my doctor hated me so much, his assessments were really rather cruel, and also completely untrue in many cases. To get OUTTA there (he kept extending my commitment paperwork) I had to go before a mental health judge and he let me go to the State Hospital where they put me on like 3000 mg of Seroquel at some points in time-- the irony, my doc wanted me to STOP it due to high cholesterol, I bet he wishes he had not done that-- while they detoxed me off 15 other meds (no lie, thank God like, he did not have access to ECT) and well, I had to sign a commitment to outpatient treatment like I was somehow noncompliant and I signed it because I was like, "Whatever, I have missed ONE doctor's appointment, so F it.

So my paperwork well it did not look good and to be fair sleep was an issue and at one point, I got my period (5 weeks, remember) and was so medicated I'd like zonk out into another (nicer) universe and that was in the assessment too, "Cannot changer her pad." I think I yelled "You try remembering your period on these meds DUDE!" He also did NOT like it, not one bit when he forbade cursing in his office (I literally can't help it) and I was like, "what piece of (censored) medical school did YOU go to, Dr. (censored.) Did they not teach you I AM THE PATIENT? THAT MEANS I am not (censored) here to meet your dependency needs!"

I think that was one visit (he always was tossing me out for rule violations) and like, I sat sobbing on the corridor. There was this one day I just sat before the pane of crooked glass and waited for the chipmunk and pulled my hair out one by one.

So SSDI was like, "Um we can't give you this money you are unable to manage your menstrual cycle." so I was not ALLOWED to sign the form ,the husband had to sign it. I also notified them upon my return to work (ALSO not kosher) so like I owe them 500 bucks for insurance I did not even USE, and like 2K for them to catch up to my overpayment.

God. Well, I am stocked up. LOL I will have to go see if me and my "guarantor" can like, set up a payment plan or SOMETHING.

    GAH.

Nelnet called too. They managed my student loan which was discharged. I will admit I could not face them in that moment (no thyroid) but I'm gonna have to get back to them.

We are just hemorrhaging money and my guarantor sucks, apparently (to be fair he has much on his mind,, but if I get disabled again, I am making my little sister do it. She is a lawyer. She will stay on top of this stuff.

To be fair, this is a drop in the bucket, but the bucket is just getting very full!! I don't know how much longer I can pay a mortgage on a house I want to bulldoze, and a house I am renting that if 15 larger than we need. Oy.

    Anna

I also have a representative payee who controls my SSDI but it’s my sister so I get a healthy “allowance” after all my house bills and insurance are paid. It kinda sucks but left to my own devices I will not pay attention to my bills when I’m going through a depressive episode which can last for months so it’s probably for the best.

Oh, Sara, I wish this stupid rotten thing hadn't happened to you. Sure, cancer is way worse, but this still sucks.

Thanks Charlie and you are so right I’m not dealing with cancer which I thank the gods for if there are any. But it is a constant pain every day all day & night. I’m just getting use to it I think along with my limp. Maybe it’ll go away still.

I have a very dear friend who has liver cancer and it’s a daily reminder of how fortunate I am. It puts my health problems into perspective yet he always is asking how I am and giving me such sympathy and support as I do for him. But it’s definitely not the same.
