T20s have been the workhorse standard in my business for decades - great that you can replace the cable when people (inevitably) tread on it and break it. I'm not familar with Fostex planars or the bluemonkeyflyer DB3 mod though.

Are you in the recording industry?

You are talking about the Fostex T20s yes? The drivers in those are planar magnetic instead of the regular cone and round magnet dynamic style.

The mod fine tunes the sound to make them more enjoyable as an every day headphone instead of a studio reference headphone. The Fostex T20/40/50 are one of the best bang for your buck user modable headphones out there, you can actually fine tune the sound (within reason) to your liking. Planar magnetic drivers are fast, but do require a bit of power behind them from an amplifier to really shine.

May I ask where you got it? I haven’t seen that in stock anywhere.

If I can’t get one, I won’t be too bummed. I’d like to have it though. I think the only other things I want are a RCM, if I can decide which one. And maybe one more stabwood mod. I’m going to have too much free time on my hands once there’s nothing more to shop for.

Just got my Central Vapors order. Replacement minifit pods for the missing ones and open box i got last time. Took a dozen confusing emails, but they’re here. The missing ones was a slight annoyance, the open box with a used pod was rather aggravating. But all’s well that ends well.
The white se? I think they’re oos everywhere except canada/EU. I ended up getting the black because I couldn’t find another. I was afraid the regulars would sell out before I could find an SE in the US, so I buckled and spent the $. La Petite Vapoteur in France has the white, and they do ship here. Flamingo in Canada I couldn’t get to answer whether or not they would ship here, but they have both colors (or did last week) in stock.

DotMod dotAIO・White・Limited release

Ships internationally, my go to for Canada.

He also has the clear one listed but not in stock. He often does this before he receives it so you can sign up for a notification.

I bought it to try the dot. Really thought I would immediately order black doors for it, but the white has definitely grown on me! I just wish the silver sides were less of a fingerprint magnet. I hope a third one is in the future for me. Not often I fall head over heels for a mod.
If you love the dot then you'll be the same with the Billet Box....

I need one of these. Masking tape and a pen just aren't doing it for me anymore :thumb:
