The idiots strike again. Every government around the world has been
through the asking nicely phase and almost without exception they then have to go into enforced lockdown to deal with the nimnos....watch this space
lockdown differs from place to place though. called my parents in AMman today; curfew there is more literal: everything's shut down and theyre saying 1year jail time for offenders.
same deal of asking nicely first, only it doesn't seem ppl were exactly partying, idk if the kids kept at it, doubt it was worse than any you're sharing or the caricaturish nightclub outbreak in berlin... seems the idiocy consisted in a rush to stock-up right after they were asked to not leave home too much. sure problem there is some social groups that listen less to what sounds pedantic from the powers. not sure how it seems better in germany, i mean, aside from the party-on phase, this is the fourth time we couldn't find toilet paper, so i'm not sure one can say they haven't been panic shopping and stocking up.. the fiance even took a couple pics of bare shelves (after i'd shown her the ones you guys shared__ love how she simultaneously enables and judges me

I've got a friend who just got the last flight out from Delhi. Some of the locals there were getting very aggitated - mobs targeting Westerners. Last 24 hours before she got out she was behind armed guards with dogs in a secure hotel.
On advice she had a scarf covering her blonde hair on the drive to the airport. Huge relief when I finally got a txt saying safe arrival in Singapore/transit.
World has gone mad. More and worse to come no doubt as fear turns to anger
