Yep, we. And it was wonderful. Almost nothing like watching a beautiful sunrise.
Your breakfast sounds awesome. I'm used to sleeping until 10-11 but lately I'm early, mostly(ish).

Hey... I've been meaning to ask you if you've heard of a singer from Lafayette, Lauren Daigle? She has some serious pipes. Went from zero to playing sell-out crowds in the Big venues worldwide in no time at all. 2 Grammy's + 2 AMA's to boot. She posted the "social distancing" version of Still Rolling Stones a few days ago...


I do hope You and Himself are staying safe in NOLA. Still one of my favorite cities.

Still working through my well stocked larder, lol. Tonight is chicken verde enchiladas on a bed of brown rice mixed with corn and black beans. For dessert, a devil’s food sheet cake topped with raspberry glaze (while hot) then iced with an almond buttercream frosting. I was feeling too lazy to make a layer cake lol. Last night was hamburgers with homemade buns (none to be found in the wild)


Lauren Daigle has a killer voice. In some ways, she reminds me a bit of a less “smoky” Norah Jones. Lots of talent coming out of around here!
Give me a stunning sunset over having to get up at the crack of dawn! Wishing I were at Mom’s to see one of these, but at 86, I can’t take the chance of going to see her. Would love to be enjoying the Creek , dripping on my Clutch watching this!!

@Pigs I saw reports in the local news today of a shady little pink fellow breaking in to houses and grabbing smok novo's. Someone even caught a picture of him with the goods, hopping over the porch rail, and making a run for it. Authority's suspect that he's part of a larger, world wide vape theft ring. I'll keep an eye out for the pesky little bugger, and report to the local law enforcement if I see anything.

Warning duly noted. I forgot to mention that people that have been hit by this burglar, have only seen a flash of pink, and heard a high pitched squealing noise. Some have even reported severe hearing loss it was so loud. Theory is, that it must be some kind of new sonic weapon. I think I'll have to purchase a good set of ear plugs....just in case.

Well see... I have a slightly different take on my past... I embrace it, the so-called good/bad, the ugly, the warts and all. And why not. It's only Me!!!

No ripping up and disposing of any of my pages, they wear My story well. Like an old pair of well worn Levi's (or Wranglers haha). Those pages all had a hand in making me the man I am today. Besides every good Book has discords and challenges coming before any kind of happy ending is even possible. It's all about the "whole" Journey, no?

I am friends with my entire Life ... we've found peace. The old me would be happy with this me, I'm 1000% on that. I have zero regrets anymore. I've made peace with all of me and people in my life too. Letting go and honest forgiveness goes a long way. And gratitude.

I agree SMT, but my Levi's are a bit too holey. There is a saying I heard somewhere that I believe applies to what you said. It goes something like this...

"Best we don't forget our past, lest we repeat the same mistakes in the future."

I don't want to forget my past. I just wish some of my past hadn't happened in the first place. You are right my friend. My past, for better or worse, has helped shape who I am today. I also had a lot of good times, despite the bad times, and the good times have increased greatly the farther away I get from those bad times.
