Beer has an expiration date? To be fair, I don’t drink. But, I guess I should check the date on those chichi IPA cans that have been in the back of the fridge since everyone was here at Christmas

Is anything shipping out of China? I have 3 packages languishing at “delivered to air transport/ exported directly sealed”. My fourth is not vape related, and it caught a flight pronto. It’s all bits and bobs, but it’s frustrating seeing no progress for so long.
I haven't touched an alcoholic beverage since the mid 80's. Yet I have beer, and more, in the house for those visiting peeps who do. Rolling Rock beer, everyone likes it!!!

I don't know if anything has been shipping out of China. Since C19 hit I haven't ordered anything from the Far East. I've been ordering from the US, Canada and Europe. Those are moving fine, so far. :D

If green things are growing on the outside of it and there is anything remotely fuzzy present...throw it away :D
I drink a 16oz glass of organic spirulina every day. It's a green/blue algae (cyanobacteria). Mmmm, I love it. Dog and Cat both enjoy it!!! Been drinking it for many years. :D

NASA uses it as a dietary supplement for astronauts. It is very rich in essential nutrients some of which aren't found in the average daily vitamin. Rich in antioxidants too. Bunch of other goodies too.

It's called the food of the future.

I know some beer is dated nowadays, but that was just a theoretical example. Just like the food category of Former Neighbors.

BTW, the new vacuum sealer works great!;)

    Chicken! j/k

Blue organic spirulina is best. It's earthy, savory and kind of green veggie. It has a mild sweetness. Green spirulina can have a fishy saltwater taste (all depends). Most people wrinkle their noses and shudder with their first taste. It can be an acquired taste for some. It also comes in tablets and capsules.

Many who buy the powder mix it with fruits to mask the taste. Some make smoothies. I just pour a bunch into a glass, add water, stir it up and drink it. I've always enjoyed the taste.

"Spirulina is algae. It grows among the fishes, and it sways among the ripples—it’s part of the underwater kingdom. Reputable providers grow in controlled conditions outside of freshwater ponds and lakes to control for contaminations and ensure a nutrient dense profile.

People describe the taste of spirulina much like seaweed, but a little more “sulphury”. It’s been described as savory and funky. Some people tolerate the taste, while others can’t stomach the taste of spirulina powder." What Does Spirulina Taste Like? | EnergySprout Naturals

Here is a spirulina farm ... they're all over the world.

    Right on! :)
Although there still is THAT kid in me.

Maybe I qualify for 50% kid and 50% adult. Yeah, probably not. Honestly it is more like 70% kid and 29.9% adult. 0.1% unknown. Just keeping it real.

I'm not sure anyone is 100% adult or anything..

    Hahaha

I've heard of it, of course, but never considered getting it. Sounds like it would be a fine addition to my daily megasmoothie. Do you recommend a particular brand?

My favorite is Nutrex here Spirulina
The photo I posted is their Hawaiian farm on Big Island.

You can buy direct or just google Nutrex Hawaiian spirulina powder. Many online places carry it. It's sold in 5oz, 16oz and a 5lb bag. I buy the 5lb bag direct. A 5lb bag lasts me almost a year and a half.

They have some good recipes too. Spirulina Recipes | Healthy Smoothie and Green Snack Recipes
There are many online, google spirulina recipes.
A fav of mine ... Vegan Spirulina Spaghetti Squash

Ha, I see what you did there! :D Yep and I totally agree.

I say let everyone's internal kid come out to play, often but nicely.

And just look at all the cool Shiny toys us 'adult(ish)' kids collect.

I'm in the same (slow) boat Mel. Got 2 parcels "delivered to air transport" over 2 months ago in GUANGZHOU and no movement since. It's not just China either - got a parcel coming from NZ that was posted early April that would normally take maybe 10 days. No sign.
I understand that there's a huge backlog and far fewer planes but it's frustrating all right.

Funny thing is the fishing gear left 4/21 and is already on a plane. I don’t neeeed what I have coming, but I waaaaaant it, ya know? Maybe it just seems worse because I’m stuck at home where I can 17track endlessly

They’re here!!! I got them unboxed and set up, took ‘em for a spin. So nice! The big one I wrangled upstairs. So heavy. I had to stop a few times. I think I’ll need to ice my back tonight but it’s worth it.

The new Stellaire is on the left, the 800 on the right.

    1CBE50CC-A90F-4FEC-A91A-2D63000C88A7.jpeg

The hoop with fabric in the middle is the size the 800 can do, 5x7. The bigger hoop is the reason I wanted the Stellaire.

The auto threader is amazing. The machine is a lot like the other, but with more features. It can do a little designing using an IPod. I’ve never had one of those before, so it’s something I’ll have to learn eventually.

That is strange but I'm not sure it's vape related. I've got a mate who regularly imports guitar hardware and parts from the US to Aus and he's going mad from the delays.
