I smoked 1 pack of cigarette for the past week.I just couldn’t bear the boredom of quarentine.I hope now I just either use the vape or the cigarette. No more dual use which is more harmful then using cigarette only.vape is certainly more enjoyable and relaxing for me
from a person whose worst fear became a reality in January (lung cancer diagnosis) DON'T DO IT, IT IS DEADLY.

Charlie was saying it's a well known fault with the authentic Xeta too. Apparently the Haku guy replaces no charge.
It's the exact same size coil I use in my Vapeshell without a problem. 2-28/36 Ni80 fused Clapton 5 wrap 2.5mm

At least they include an extra positive post in the spares baggie so it's not too disastrous :thumb:

Hey man...I am so sorry. Can I ask when did you started vaping?
smoked for 42 years. quit smoking and started vaping in 2013 (ish) thought I was home free. Because I smoked for so long I get a once a year lung cancer screening, Always came back negative until 2020. Biopsy and Pet scan and then surgery to remove the part of the lung with cancer in it. I forget the word but there is a word and it tells that the cancer was def from smoking. I had an Oncologist, a Pulmonary DR, A Thoracic surgeon and two other DR's on my team. All concurred the cancer was caused by smoking cigs. I am free of it for right now but not cured for 5 years as it can come back. I do not know how much of my lungs I can part with if it keeps coming back. DO not think you are not causing damage by smoking Also my mom died of Emphysema and it is not a pretty sight, watching someone struggling to breath

I was doing alright keeping my vaping stuff straight in my head until I got all wrapped up in sewing. It’s every bit as much a rabbit hole, and I can only remember so much at a time.
Yes! this all happened to me too. The beading and jewelry making rabbit hole and the DIY rabbit hole, it is a wonder I could not figure out the BB gasket nonsense.

Completely agree Sue it's a deadly substance and like you I make no apology for trying to scare the living daylights out of you @Mobc1990 :). I've just had cancer too not lung but lymphoma and I have emphysema which is effectively a slow death. I smoked for 40 ish years too. You always think it won't happen to you. My cancer has gone but like sue there are no guarantees and the emphysema is not too bad yet but I get very breathless if I work to hard. I gave up smoking several times and started again and that's how I ended up at 40 years.....it's an addiction and like any addiction your brain always has an excuse.....

Stay safe....don't smoke :)

Charlie and I can join forces in the anti-smoking campaign. And as I mention this I will also mention
GO GET A LOW DOSE CT SCAN OF YOUR LUNGS. Early detection is everything and the reason I was able to go walk my dog 2k steps this morning

Vaping is very safe from cancer?Because only pg/vg flavor And nicotine

but I got through 10ml 3mg juice a day, it’s like alot
Unfortunately no one knows for sure. My team would only say "anything you put in your lungs is not good" but they all did agree they would rather see people vape then smoke.
I have had other DR's that applauded vaping as an alternative for those that could not smoke

I think it’s fair to say vaping has been around long enough, we’d have pretty good evidence if it was harmful and what harm it caused.

But maybe not. Maybe there are risks. You know what? We already know what smoking does. I’ll take my chances with maybe there’s a risk rather than using a known killer.

My husband was 54 years old, smoked since he was a teen, but the healthiest guy I knew. He worked a very physical outdoor job, and he could work circles around people half his age. Never took a day off sick in his life. Not one.

One day, he dug up the garden to get it ready to plant. Next day, he said his shoulder was bothering him. Maybe he had done too much. He wasn’t one to complain, and he went about his business. It kept bothering him though, and after nagging him for 3 weeks I got him to see the doctor.

The doctor sent him directly for tests. Stage 4. The lung tumors had breached the lung wall and spread to his ribs and spine. Metastasis to the bones, organs, brain.

He did chemo. He had radiation, 15 rounds plus gamma knife.

He took so many meds I had to keep a chart on the wall and set timers all day.

He had seizures, and I couldn’t leave him alone.

He had spontaneous nose bleeds.

He lost weight. All of his muscles, gone.

He lost the ability to walk. Then to sit up. And to feed himself. He hallucinated.

He wasted away before my eyes, right here in the room where I’m sitting now, and I was his hospice nurse, although I had zero training or knowledge about this.

It was all I could do to keep him from being in excruciating pain.

In 9 months it completely destroyed him.

I don’t know who your family is, if you have parents, a spouse, kids, siblings, but let me tell you, it doesn’t just destroy the person it kills. It destroys everyone in range. I would give anything to undo all of this... to undo having to tell our kids and grandkids, our families. To undo planning his memorial, and picking up his ashes from the funeral home, and asking for copies of his death certificate

And I would do anything not to have to do that to my family again.

It’s been five years since he died, but all of this is as fresh in my mind today as it was when it was happening. I’ll never forget.

That was his only symptom, a bit of shoulder pain. There were no signs at all, until it was too late.

So if it takes buying a new mod a month or vaping 10 mls of juice a day I’m in. Whatever the cost or risk.

Hey Pigs! How are you liking the Serpent Elevate? Mine gets daily use. Easy to build, and great flavor. Be interested in hearing your take on it.

Searched and found a discount code for $10 off "BEERCASH10". :headbang:

Nice bag SMT! I have one similar, and really like it. I'm very much an edc guy, plus I'm in Real Estate, and have a bunch of bags and shoulder slings. I may have to check that Nutsac out.
