That one has escaped my radar til now. It's on the wantlist I agree about the Luxotic/Tobhino kit being made for each other - I love the airflow of it and the flavour that lil teeny rda gives is awesome

Agreed Ange - and such an underrated rda. I use the Tobhino on a few different squoinkers. The clamps are maybe not great for round wire finer than 24G but no problems with other wire types and like you say awesome flavour.

And the Gorge now next on the list to buy.

Everyone knows I vape. I’m no good at all at trying to pretend I’m something I’m not, and the truth always outs at some point. Which is much more awkward the longer it takes.

But I am respectful, I always ask if I may vape in someone else’s house or car, and if I’m allowed, I use a pod or the least cloudy thing I have with me. If there are smokers, I’ll just go outside with them for a few hits.

If someone comes to my house, they understand I’ll be vaping. I’ll not be blowing giant clouds in the room with them. If it bothers them - someone with sinus problems mentions this occasionally- they feel free to say, and I can stop, or we can go outside.

It's good to be respectful like that. Sometimes I feel like we're kind of ambassadors for vaping. If we blast non vapers away with huge clouds and in your face attitiude it doesn't help our cause.

Question as I can't find it anywhere in this thread or the forum but does anyone have any experience with a Stratum styled 303 from Vapeasy. It's available on 3Fvape for a decent price, but I'm concerned about a clone unregulated squonk mod because I'm not sure I can trust the electronics. If so, it frees up a couple of higher end stuff I want to get, but I really doubt I'd get a genuine 303. This is the plain version, not that really pretty 303 all engraved from a few days ago.

Probably won't order it any time soon. Having never tried the OG I'm not chasing anything, just enjoy lemon vapes. Yes the OG LMP; I never order the v2 versions. Dap tastes better than smelly butr imo.

I was curious and tried a few of the v2 versions a while back. Yuck and yucky-er. Gross. I gave them to my brother (what else was I supposed to do? ). He tried them and concluded the same. They ended up tossed. V2's nevermore!

No new vape shiny on the way but I do have a Lumintop Tool 2.0 flashlight inbound and a freshly charged 14500 to go in it. My previous EDC flashlight disappeared off of my Nite Ize Stretch holster...

Lights are my other rabbit hole. My normal edc for awhile now is the Zebralight SC2 clipped in my left pocket, and a Nitecore Tip in my right pocket. A few misc lights in my shoulder sling.

For that price I'd take the chance. The mosfet may even be sourced from the same factory as the authentic.

I met JayBo at the Vapexpo a couple years back. Super nice and genuine guy. We talked for quite a while. He was really excited about the industry and his upcoming projects. He had a custom Luxotic/Tobhino that was really cool. He put a lot of love into that project.

Here is a fair review on the Vapeasy Stratum 303.

It's in Italian so turn on subtitles and you're good to go.



He takes it apart so you can see the electronics. It's a dual-mosfet.

The 510 squonk pin is not self-adjusting, it is fixed. That may be an issue for some atty's.

In the end he does not recommend it for safety reasons.

You are not alone in your desire for a Stratum.

Yeah those clamps had me swearing like there was no tomorrow I gave up on using my lil flat wire and 28g in it. But with wider 1.0 x 0.14mm flat wire it was easy.

I've eyed up that mod since I started squonking. Only thing that put me off has been that it's an unknown mosfet - if it was full mech, I'd have one already. There's some reviews for it on the other sold out colours on 3fvape
