The case was rested and closed a long time ago. The verdict is, we get to shut up and tolerate any, and all political digs posted in Shinyville.....even though this is not a politically themed or titled thread. Case closed!

If I posted anything close to being this politically biased or blatant here, I would have people jumping all over me, and reporting my posts.

Yet you are running a marathon of sorts posting very hateful things at VU.

You talk the talk of getting along and love and peace yet post some very nasty stuff there about ECF and it's members. And your dislike of ECF. Members there are members here. Word spread.

Yes, I have posted at VU my displeasure of stuff like this going on here, BUT, I have never posted anything nasty, or singled out any of the members from here in any of my posts over there. Anything posted that is not complementary towards someone or something, will always be interpreted as, "nasty", by people with a certain mindset. And, anything I have to say politically at VU is posted in the mud pit forum provided....WHERE IT BELONGS. People are either unwilling, or can't seem to do that here. And, as usual, this is more about smearing, and diversion, than it is about accountability and facts.

And in answer to this...

I may not be an insider here, but I really love this community, and I am persistent. I do actually have several good friends here.

That's a feature of the internet I guess. You never really know for sure who you're talking to. Over a long period of time if someone shows a consistent face you might develop a level of confidence that you're seeing their real face. But sometimes the mask slips and something completely unexpected bursts out.

It can happen in RL as well, just not so often. Like the time I discovered my amiable friendly neighbor was going out at night with a chainsaw and chopping up sorority girls at the Band Camp. That didn't really happen but how can I know for certain that he isn't a chainsaw guy.

What size flat wire are you having the best luck with?

An update on my trials and tribulations re the Inbox.

Vapeciga in reply to my demand for a refund say:

We have cancelled your order #11143, there is a problem that has to be fixed with our PayPal, it will take about 5-7 business days for you to get the money back.

Sounds ominous right??

Anyway after Ange's suggestion of posting a Wanted ad in the Classies I got a reply from a really amazing, lovely, genuine guy called TraderX. He has an Inbox V3 still in it's shrink wrap that he's willing to sell me for the price he paid. He's also been incredibly helpful trying to sort out the minefield of USPS package measurements/prices/routes. Definitely has reinforced my belief in human nature and the lesson I've learned about ecf members - most are great people happy to help other members.

well nothing_ it's still in hte box.

this thing with the CB ppl and language... i mean when focalecig came thru at least we could communicate. here i am saying i like it even better than what i ordered and can return it if whoever ordered this colour wants it and they're asking me to do them a favour by keeping it and take a giftcard on top. i'm gonna try to break it down further to simpler declarative sentences_ hope they don't offer me a car next
