Exciting news:
My Vapesnail clone arrived in Sydney today. Listed as shipped by FT on 29 May but only left China on 3 June - fast traveller. Should be in my letter box before Friday (fingers crossed). Can't wait to try it out and compare it to the Vapeshell.
Mine is... somewhere??? between China and here. Just a-waitin’ lol. Let me know what you think. I was so-so on the shell

ordered a new batch from chefs_ missed the 20% discount but the THEKITCHEN code is still working. plan is to layer the cacti flavour (and depend less on INW as theyre apparently not so on the up'n'up)_
also ordered a couple additives to boost the flavours till i get used to the non-oneshots_ FA sour wizard, FLV ice and sweetness (that's aparently stevia, which yaw recommended, with sumthin to eliminate the aftertaste).

edit: ooh appreciate any tips if somoene's tried any o those

I feel for you. I’m Irish and I can’t drink whiskey. I try to make amends by drinking Guinness.

If I had the chance to try something like that, I’d be all for it. Nobody I know knows anything about wine though. The stuff they make locally- Catawba - is really awful. I’m sure in more civilized regions the people are more discerning and the offerings are much better.

I think part of my dislike is taste, but also it was a migraine trigger and even so, people kept offering it to me knowing this. As if, being a woman, I HAVE to drink it lol. Please no, but if you have Patron I’ll take a shot of that :D

I have not put that Basilisk down since I got it. I have a .4 coil in the axial and I want to go closer to .3, but it’s vaping nicely. I think I’ll hold off another day then change it. I don’t like toying with stuff that’s working.

what is it about drinking culture and people pushing the stuff on you? it took a long while before stopped it after i found my roots

Almost the same here, like yesterday it rained in the morning then sunny after that but it was cold, cold for summer i mean.
Went outside wearing just a polo and went in back again to get my vest, pretty chili for June to be honest.

At the moments its 21 °C and a bit cloudy,i remember back in the day you could actually experience the 4 different seasons.
These days thou it just seems like Summer/Winter and a weird mix and match of both o_O

I haven't as I stick to my Braun. Only Braun or Philips actually seem to give a close shave but I must admit I haven't tried many other makes.

I've wondered the same about FT too. It certainly doesn't seem to be the case anymore that anything from China is of dubious quality ;)

I've got an Atmizoo and an sxk clone of the Vapeshell - there's no doubt the authentic wicks better and doesn't flood like the clone. Not sure why as the juice holes are identical. Maybe the way the two halves seal. Both are in the drawer these days though with the Xeta my alldayvape.
Will definitely let you know how the snail goes. I went the cheap option and didn't buy all the extra inserts - hope that wasn't a mistske. I vape the xeta wide open so I'm hoping that's how I'd like the snail too.

Congrats....I'll be interested in your thoughts and how it performs. I would watch a couple of videos on wicking the og just to make sure you have a good start. Were there many comments on ft talking about how good the clone was?
I didn't read any ft reviews but the clone gets a good rap over on the sxk bb thread.
I watched Todd's review - good wicking tips as always. Any tips from you would be great too.

I have the clone, and it did flood/leak/grossly misbehave on the one build with several wicking I was willing to commit to at the time. I’m with you. I I like the xeta so much, it really wasn’t worth the effort at the moment to conquer the shell

Yes if you vape the Xeta wide open you won't need the inserts.

I'd definitely say it's the seal around the two halves causing the issue....you could try a bit of plumbers tape to decrease the tolerance.

    Good luck Pigsy :)

Well I use Mark's method so only thing to add is don't skimp on what you're pulling through the coil so as to maximize your cotton density on either side. It'll stop any crackling as you vape so you'll know that you've got enough.

    Hope that helps :)

Only additive I've used is cap SS. But until I started adding a lil bit of sweetener to my mixes, everything tasted blah. I do have a sweet tooth though, and I think that is the only reason why they tasted blah - I'm used to sweets. To a normal person, they would've tasted fine

I need to do another flavours order, but I keep buying mods instead
