goodbye
my understanding is that it isn't free? trial versions or whatever? there;s a workshop i wanna do that uses it, dont wanna pay the fee and not do it in the end

Good morning Wormy. Zoom has some security features that I'm not sure that are fixed yet. There are three good alternatives to Zoom though. The main contender is MS Teams. It's free and feature rich. Worth checking out.

MS Teams

Second is Google Meet. Don't know a lot about this one, but a lot of people like it. Also free.

Google Meet

Then there is the one that everyone knows. Skype is also free and feature rich, and also pretty ubiquitous.

Skype

There is a free version of Zoom, but it has limitations that the others don't, like 40 minute limitation on group calls.

These are all good, free alternatives to Zoom. According to the tech news I read, MS Teams is the Zoom alternative that people are moving to. Loaded with features on the free version, and more secure than Zoom. Hope this helps bud. :)

It's free up to 40 minutes and if you want longer you need to subscribe or you could start another free (hassle) meeting I suppose.

My wife checks in sets the students work and then when the 40 minutes is up she leaves them alone to get on with it. They then have a specially designed portal where they upload the work for checking and of course they can contact Veronica at anytime if they have a question.

It certainly shouldn't be up to you to pay for the subscription :)

But I do have mods that are smaller than even the MTL Brunhilde RTA ;)

Me too. :D

My Nano is even shorter at 69mm. Mini is 93mm. :pervy:  Brunhilde MTL RTA is 59.5mm and would look funny on a Mini or Nano. That sucker needs a BIG mod. :D

There's been a few side by side mods lately, and I've got my eye on a few of them. Especially this Mixx 60w by Aspire if it turns up on a NZ site sometime

Aspire MIXX 60W Box Mod
Got my eye on the MIXX too. Designed by Sunbox and built by Aspire, 'nuff said.

Every Aspire product I've ever owned has been top notch quality. My favorite mod of theirs is the NX75-A CNC edition. It's one of the smallest, and sexiest, single 18650 mods around.

DJ at FT pointed me to sourcemore who has the MIXX for $39.13 (pre-order).

Alrighty then... If you and @Pigs agree to get one then I will too. :w00t: Love the blue but also the purple. :) What say Ye Gentlemen??? Shall we?
I'm still on the fence but hey I'm ostensibly with you and they're made in Germany so not to many moons from me.

What I can tell you is that they're one of Rob Fisher's favourite mods and his staple beater mods for out and about.

Is he still around by the way. I haven't seen him on here for ages?

If he is still around best place to find him is in the "picture of your setup" thread.

@Katya, sorry, sorry, sorry but I thought of another RTA for you to check out. The Coppervape Hussar Project X. It is totally in your AF wheelhouse. Dual sided AFC with three 1.3mm holes on each side (might be 1.4/1.5mm). It's an airy MTL or an excellent restricted DL wide open. $17.17 Coppervape Hussar Project X Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 2ml / 316 stainless steel + PEI / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping

With all the ones you've been looking at I don't remember if the X was one of those or not. :)

There is also a 4ml tank option, $7.25 Coppervape Replacement 316 Stainless Steel + PEI Extended Kit for Hussar Project X RTA - 4ml at FastTech - Free Shipping

I have a few, they're very nice. Easy to build on and serious bangin' RDA like flavor. Ask @AngeNZ, she loves hers. Also see the Project X thread for much info, tips, build pics and videos etc. throughout.

Just a another option for you to consider. ;)

Dani, a beater mod. He has so many beautiful custom mods and atty's. I'm waiting for his mega collection photo like Shawn Hoefer's.

If he is still around best place to find him is in the "picture of your setup" thread.

He was in the Pic thread not long ago with more awesome mods and a nicely engraved Dvarw DL if I recall correctly. :)
