How you doing lately Charlieman?
Haven't had an update for some time. Every time I see you...I wonder.
Oh I'm ok on the slow conveyor belt of recovery. Still waiting for my bloods to come back to normal and then I can get this darn O2 off and then we're there. My worst problem at the moment is side effects from all the meds bad stomach, nausea etc.

We'll get there.
How are you mate down in the windy city? :)

Ah that's actually very good news mate...compared to where you was. Soooo glad for you buddy. You're almost home ;)
Nah it's all good here atm. Coldest winter in a long time I had here actually. The wind is silent for now. It starts up just after spring arrives and lasts till beginning of summer..sometimes most of summer. It's not your usual strong winds either. It's a strong wind combined with viscious, destructive gusts. Man it breaks stuff.
But being a new born Kiwi...I take it in my stride :D

    Maybe @virm can help?

    Sure hope so.

I sent them an email but i don't really have high hopes, but it doesn't hurt to try anyway.
If they could deliver here then it's easy to send the package to Daniel, that is the easy part.

Hope i get a response or maybe someone in ECF is from Germany and can give Daniel a hand.

No worries Mate, I appreciate the thought:thumb:

Depends on the rda and wattage/coil used. On a small single coil RDL rda, I usually mix 70VG/30PG, 5-10% flavoring, 3mg/mL, ~30 watts on a .5-.7 Ohm 24 Ga.Kanthal A1 build. Every one of my little.single coil rda's require different coil height, some a lot, some a little, to get the best flavor.

On a dual coil RDA everything changes, resistance is lower, airflow is increased, wattage is higher, coil placement changes, I also need less flavorings because more vapor is produced.

I'd suggest playing with the coil height so the airflow hits the coil(s) center and a little low, adjusting wattage to see what your sweet spot is for the build you have in there, and squonking every 1-2 hits to make sure your wick(s) are saturated enough.
Thank you for the tips! I’ll be using them!

I agree with those above. I find my RDAs give me a more intense, concentrated flavour than RTAs. And where you stick your coil makes a huge difference to the flavour you get.

Even a small 2.5mm id coil can get you decent flavour, if it's aligned so that the airflow hits the bottom third of the coil. Just try coils with different leg heights and see if it improves. In a new RDA once the coil is inserted, I always poke a skewer through the airflow inlet, to see where it's hitting my coil. If it's not hitting the bottom third, then I move the coil until it is.
Thanks! Good to know, love the skewer idea!

Hope it works out for your buddy.
Went to my friends vape shop this morning and asked him if he could check if any of his suppliers had it in stock and no dice :(

My dear Brewdawg! How did you find my post here?

I do know how you feel about the Precisio. I was soooo close to getting one, as you know, but this ultem scared me. Or maybe I was just sore that you beat me in that contest. ;)

*sigh* I'll probably get one. Time for experimenting, picking, and choosing is running out. Time to get off the fence. :D

Not sure how I found your post, really- I pop in from time to time to scroll & see if there's any new shiny that interests me, and your post was near the first place I landed.

And yeah, the vapocolypse thing is what convinced me to get more of these. Doggy uses plastic threads daily. True has the proprietary gasket. Nothing like that on these- just well machined metal and o-rings that should be available forever. I was thinking about it after I posted, and realized that except when I first got it, I've never unscrewed the ultem. So like a lot of tanks, the main concern for longevity could be the insulators. I'm kind of set, but maybe I need to order more myself. :)

So are you saying the Precisio is pretty much future proof?

Well, not really. There probably is no such thing, I guess. BUT, atties that don't use propietary parts that are really prone to breaking or wearing out are probably the best bet. And unfortunately, 2 of my 3 favorites- Doggy & True, don't really fit that bill, so the Precisio is probably better long term than them, at least. Doggies, though- you can still get plenty of parts for them, really cheap. So even though Precisio is my main vape, I bought extra tanks, insulators & posts for the Doggy. I wish I could get parts for the Precisio.

Well I knew that you have to have replacement glass, but I didn't know you had to worry about replacing other parts like posts. And what is an insulator?

I did contact Elegomall about not receiving my prize and I got this response
"We do send out your prize, and we are sorry to heat that you do not receive it so fat, you can tack your parcel here:ALL-IN-ONE PACKAGE TRACKING | 17TRACK
It seemd there is no update on 13th, June. But no worries, you can ask your local post office to see if they already got your parcel."

A sure and tell tale sign it came from China, if I did not already know, I do now. I am hoping this is one of those things that will just show up eventually. It is not the fault of the shipper so I cannot blame them. It is stuck in some port somewhere and I am sure all countries are not operating well due to Covid.
