Well I knew that you have to have replacement glass, but I didn't know you had to worry about replacing other parts like posts. And what is an insulator?
Here's a pic of the a kayfun & the doggy replacements. I won't try to explain because I'm not an electrical expert, but it goes under one of the posts to allow the electricity to flow without shorting out. They may last forever, but if they don't, the atty is useless without a replacement.

103 at 11pm? That is outrageous even for the Mojave desert.
It's been nasty the last few days (and nights) I don't know if the open desert is staying that hot at night or if it's the urban heat island effect. There was 2 car fires on the freeway 3 house fires and a big brush fire on the East side of the city yesterday. Today is supposed to be the same then tomorrow should start cooling off.

That's awful when it's that hot....I feel for you buddy. Thank god it's cooling off and wearing a mask is horrible in the heat too :(

We are under a mandatory mask order here but it's only indoors. We went back to phase 1 for 14 days in some counties. It's so hot that people dont mind this time since nobody is going outside. What I don't get is local businesses have to close but we can have the casinos open and bring people from all over the place to the city.
I used to work construction and had to wear dust masks to protect from the Medite we were using. That combined with a hard hat kept you pretty miserable in the Summer.

Morning guys. 3:39am Tuesday here. East Coast Low raging outside.

Got a question that's been niggling me for a while- I got in the habbit of shaking my juice before I refill an atty or squonk bottle with my little 60ml current mix squeeze bottle.
Question is does the nic settle down the bottom and is this necessary? Can't remember where I saw/read this. Thanks!

Well, not really. There probably is no such thing, I guess. BUT, atties that don't use propietary parts that are really prone to breaking or wearing out are probably the best bet. And unfortunately, 2 of my 3 favorites- Doggy & True, don't really fit that bill, so the Precisio is probably better long term than them, at least. Doggies, though- you can still get plenty of parts for them, really cheap. So even though Precisio is my main vape, I bought extra tanks, insulators & posts for the Doggy. I wish I could get parts for the Precisio.
Me, too. But even spare glass for the Precisio is rare and v. expensive to ship. 'Tis annoying.

I read recently that if the temperature does not drop to at most 85 at night, the body cannot properly recover from a day's overheating. Also, one can lose as much as two liters overnight from sweating in one's sleep.

The AC is able to cool it down at night. It struggles to keep it 80° In the daytime. The summer 2 years ago was worse. It didn't get below 90° for over a month and we hit 117° a couple days. I was working graveyard then and it was always too hot in the house to sleep during the day. I don't understand how people lived here prior to air conditioning.

I'm exactly the same. Got into the habit from shaking up DIY mixes, and now I automatically shake before refilling. Tried to stop doing it, but OCD took over and won

But no worries, you can ask your local post office to see if they already got your parcel."

RIght. USPS is a hot mess. Been there done that.
I do now. I am hoping this is one of those things that will just show up eventually. It is not the fault of the shipper so I cannot blame them. It is stuck in some port somewhere and I am sure all countries are not operating well due to Covid.

FWIW, the same thing happened to me and my package from FT before Covid. I hope it will just show up unexpectedly on your doorstep. So sorry, Chanel.

I shake my eliquids often. And I shake nic base before mixing like crazy to get rid of possible nicotine hot spots.

Is it Necessary to Shake Your E-Liquid Before Use?
