Help???
I’m about ready to take a hammer to my Tripod. Like seriously!! Took it apart to clean and rewick. I line up the little triangles, but it won’t smush together. I got it closed once, but I couldn’t get the juice control to turn, so wrestled forEVAH, got it apart. What am I bloody doing wrong??
Yikes! I'd be weeping.

Maybe @ShowMeTwice can help?

Good afternoon (or whatever it is where you are), Shinies. :)

Both FT packages are in Los Angeles. The old regular epacket took 8 days to get there, the expedited--18 days.

Off to backread. :)
See, you worried for nothing.

Finally tweaked my mandarin kiwi yogurt to "keeper" status; only took 4 versions for this one!
all %
FW blood orange 1
HS cream 0.7
TFA greek yogurt 4
FA kiwi 2
RF SC kiwi 0.7
FE sweet orange 2
FLV sweetness 0.2
Lovely tanginess to this one I quite enjoy. Not particularly yogurty so will keep this one and v5 will try FW yogurt & WF mascarpone for a creamy sweeter yogurt. Gotta have variety eh?
That does look good. Stole it!!! ;)

Matt T. posted the Charlie Noble yogurt recipes in his Not-So-Discontinued series back in March. Charlie Noble Yogurts

Knowing you are "the" Citrus Junkie, I couldn't help thinking of you with the first recipe. In his notes he says it has that "citrus-y tanginess that we all know and love" and "heavy citrus overtones in there as well".

Also in his notes he writes; "FW Yogurt was the best I’ve found for a solid, creamy yogurt, without too much sweetness or too much of a “greek yogurt taste”."

I haven't tried his yogurts yet so IDK. I did make Commodore Pearry and felt it was really good. Commodore Pearry

Nah. You're thinking of the kayfun 4. I have three of those. Have not been able to face it yet.

Honestly, nothing to it. You really only have to deal with 5, 6, OK, maybe 8 main components in real use. ;) It's the filling and juice control and turning this ring this way and that ring that way every time you need to refill or access the deck that's killing me. I never remember what to do and in what order. But the draw is just perfect for me.

it uses the same chip as in the SXK 70w BB clone.
Right Ange. They used the Asmodus GX80 board in the SXK 70W BB clone. Famously unreliable reading resistance (sorry @Daniel Forsyth ) and the main reason mine sits in it's box for long periods.

For example, I read the above post three times and I still don't understand it.

Next on my shopping list is a black and silver Aspire X Sunbox Mixx, I’ve also been trying to find a DNA60 side by side but their much harder to come by, same as the original BB.
Dovpo have a new SBS out that uses a DNA 60 called the College

Also it isn't difficult to buy new authentic Billet Boxes - they do a drop of new product once a week and you usually have between 10 and 30 minutes before they sell out.

    Nooooooo, not the Hammer!!! :D

I don't remember if you have the Atmizoo or Ulton Tripod or the other one.

Try lubing the o-ring on the base with VG. Slop it on! This one...
    -6.jpg

Sufficiently lubricated, that o-ring helps the JFC to rotate smoothly.

Also apply some VG to the SS tabs just below the o-ring on each side of the deck. That will help when you are reconnecting the deck to the tank section. Even with the authentic it can be a little tight reconnecting those. Rotating the base a very tiny bit CW and/or CCW while connecting them will help.

Then when you try rotating the tank and if the JFC still doesn't budge then replace that o-ring. It is possibly loose and binding. If you have the Ulton Tripod the o-rings they supply are not the best as Mordacai noted in the Tripod thread.

Also if your AFC ring does not move easily, there are two o-rings that should be lubed underneath the AFC ring. Our Qorax Stan mentions lubing those in his video. See the 2 o-rings on the base, lower right-hand page three.

Good luck, and please No Hammer ... Yet. :D

I'm actually kind of looking forward to having the energy to watch a couple of videos and then build one. I just have no idea when that happy day will arrive.

Hehe jargon city. SXK do 2 versions of their Billet Box clone: the more expensive one uses an Evolv DNA 60 board and the cheaper 70W version uses the Asmodus GX80 board

    Bartender: That’ll be $20.20. :)

Phil Busardo or Ruby Roo--I would never have figured it out without their videos. I must have watched them a hundred times. :vapor:
