Hey man,dang...thanks a bunch,i mean this is one of those times you wish there were a word that meant more than a simple ''thank you''.

The part of my pops, well i don't consider myself anything special, family is family and this is the way i have been brought up.

Pains me to hear some of the comments from younger people, stuff like hey if he is that much of a hassle just put him in a retirement home...yeah sorry i don't roll like that.

Full disclosure i've never had a good relationship with my pops,he was from an older time where physical punishment was used as an education tool when a kid got bad grades or something...let's leave it at that.

Younger generation seems to lack the true meaning of family.

I only mention my tribulations here in ECF because, well you know it's my life, that is about it,just what goes on day after day.

And i know some of you have gone thru the same thing so it feels good to share but as i said before i'm just a normal dude (with exceptionally beautiful green eyes hahaha) who tries to do the right thing.

Well anyway, ill send you a pm buddy and yeah it's huge gesture from you to make this offer to me.

    cheers

I too had a strict father. I lost him to cancer in June and I miss him sorely. You never know what you have until it's gone.

I get it. We do what we have to do. It’s emotionally and physically exhausting sometimes. You’re doing great. And you will never regret a moment of this, I promise.

Just try to remember to take care of yourself. If you don’t, you won’t be able to take care of anyone else.

When my husband was sick, I wasn’t paying attention to whether I’d slept, if I’d had anything to eat. I was focusing on caring for him. One day I wasn’t feeling so good, went to the bathroom to get a wet wash cloth to put in my head. Before I could do that, I passed out. Face first into the side of the tub. Came to curled up in the floor in a puddle of blood. (Almost fainted again because I can’t stand the sight of blood, LOL) The whole side of my face was bruised and swollen, had a cut over my eye, a fat lip. Hurt like hell, looked like I’d had the crap beat out of me.

Trust me, after that I made sure not to skip meals, and I took a nap whenever I could.

Sorry to hear that you went thru that.

Kind of funny because lately i have learned to say no.
Think i spoiled my pops to much but if you are a softie like me if and person is sick and looks at you with puppy eyes you tend to cave in.

Sometimes he asks for me to cook for him meals that require a lot of prep and work and i just don't have it in me.

The other day he asked for Cocido (like a type of stew but with a buttload of ingredients, even ''special'' meatballs called pelotas) i looked at him and had to say no.

I mean come on 2 and half hours of prep yeah sorry that is just one of those days i got so much to do and so little time.

But yeah DeloresRose (Rose was actually my moms name,Rosa in spanish) you are right,if i get sick i can't take care of him properly so i make sure i eat right and get enough sleep.

I too had a strict father. I lost him to cancer in June and I miss him sorely. You never know what you have until it's gone.

Sorry to hear that buddy, yeah i feel the same way about my mom.
Cancer took her away in 2010 and no a day goes by that i don't think of her.

If you don't mind a gently used one...I may.

    Morning shinies ;)

@Ange did you buy the smaller (2*2mm and 2*3mm) AFC inserts for the Dvarw DL FL?

Yup. The first thing I did with my DL FL was remove the stock 2*2.5mm (equiv to a single 3.54mm) insert and put in the bigger 2*3mm (~4.24mm). It's been perfect, so I haven't tried any others yet.

    Hey Katya. This is it.

It started a few weeks ago. Been behaving impeccable up to then. I haven't stripped it to check o rings and such yet. I'm kinda hoping someone can point me straight to the problem before I start dissecting it...:thumb:

Since you had it running fine before - I'd be blaming a pinched o-ring on the chamber/top cap, or even one in the deck itself. Have a look in this thread, but prepare to drool over Rob Fisher's collection

Hello everyone. I cant get on the internet here because it keeps telling me there are problems with the digital certificate.

At any rate I think I've found a work-around to that issue, so it may resolve itself although I keep randomly falling asleep and it's difficult to make it through one post.

At any rate, I wanted to say I'm okay, and doing very well, and I'm absolutely 100% grateful for all your loving likenesses and care..

And yes @Hightech Redneck , I'm definitely wearing boots and a hospital gown.

    Lol...

At least the hospital gown part is correct! Haha

Extremely glad to see you. Listen to your nurses ;) and I hope the pain levels are controllable :wub::wub:

Got a new pod to play with from sourcemore today :)

Enjoy! Let us know how you like it. I love mine, but the pods tend to leak. I hate leaks. I have to take the pod off the mod every time I'm done using it for a while and wipe everything dry. I ordered different coils (.8 and 1Ω) in hope that they will provide a better seal than the coils that came with the device. But I also bought a Vinci to 510 adapter (thanks @Pigs for the tip) and if those new coils leak too, I'm just going to convert the whole thing to a regular 510 mod.

Anyway, good luck and keep us posted.

Happy to do it. Strangers helping strangers has choked me up a time or to myself. It was hard to hear someone longing for something I had right here, not even using.
I got your info and will have it in the mail in a day or two. Any way you slice it taking of your dad is a noble thing to do and you deserve a perk.

Hello all you lovely people...and Thank You to the emergency responders....
I'm glad to report I got the Dvarw sorted. The first thing that came to my mind also was wicking, but i've been wicking it for some time without problems. I fiddled with the coil height and even lifted the cotton off the deck. The only way it can leak through wicking, is if it's wicked to loose...juice flows through the cotton into the air hole. That's not the case, so I sat down, put on my magnifying glass and had a good chat with it. The only way I could see it loosing juice is thorough this o ring
    Screenshot_20200910-111110~5.png

I took it out and inspected it...it don't look damaged, but the old eyes aren't what they used to be. So I replaced it with the spare, and so far it's keeping its juice inside. I'm positive that was the culprit.

If left more than a day the 0.8 will seep fluid too. Still the coul I like best though. Haven't used the rba head and may never. For me purely a stash device. If the presets annoy you like they do me put in rba mode and you won't have to deal with it anymore. Doesn't matter what coul ir style of coul you're using. I think you just press one button until the screen print turns blue.
