If left more than a day the 0.8 will seep fluid too. Still the coul I like best though. Haven't used the rba head and may never. For me purely a stash device. If the presets annoy you like they do me put in rba mode and you won't have to deal with it anymore. Doesn't matter what coul ir style of coul you're using. I think you just press one button until the screen print turns blue.

That's what I do.

Still have some hope for the .8Ω coils. And I won't be leaving them for a long time on the device.

I'm still contemplating an RBA, but the one I want is sold out everywhere, so TBD.
Buy Authentic Reewape RUOK RBA Coil for Voopoo VINCI / VINCI X Pod Kit

Thanks!

I took it out and inspected it...it don't look damaged, but the old eyes aren't what they used to be. So I replaced it with the spare, and so far it's keeping its juice inside. I'm positive that was the culprit.

Congratulations and thanks for letting us know. Do you lubricate your o-rings? I do, I believe it helps to keep them healthy, but, of course, some are not that great to begin with.

Hello all you lovely people...and Thank You to the emergency responders....
I'm glad to report I got the Dvarw sorted. The first thing that came to my mind also was wicking, but i've been wicking it for some time without problems. I fiddled with the coil height and even lifted the cotton off the deck. The only way it can leak through wicking, is if it's wicked to loose...juice flows through the cotton into the air hole. That's not the case, so I sat down, put on my magnifying glass and had a good chat with it. The only way I could see it loosing juice is thorough this o ring

please keep us informed as I ordered this tank and am counting on you to keep me current on its problems

So kind of you, but I'll wait for the Ruok. I've watched a bunch of reviews and tutorials and it seems to be the easiest one to build (simple two-post deck). I may also skip the whole RBA idea altogether.
After reading these posts, I just realized I had forgotten all about the Argus Air. I need to try mine out one of these days.

Yes I generally do lubricate them. I did this one I replaced. I used to use Vaseline...learnt that when I was an apprentice. On another thread someone said that Vaseline being petroleum based aren't good and actually helps it degrade..don't know, but I use good ol VG now.

If left more than a day the 0.8 will seep fluid too.

I saw this advice the other day and I just may do it. Makes sense to me and protects the mod.
I can say without a shadow of doubt that this is caused by the ingress of liquid into the mod and onto the circuit board.
My friend bought one of these, and me, being a vaper of many years, was interested in this new pod design.
When I tried his I was very impressed with how good it was, and after confirming that the battery would last a whole day I decided to order a couple from China and pack away the joytech I had been using for the last couple of years.
But within 2 weeks my friend reported this same issue, the resetting to 5, turning off by itself, not being able to restart, ect ect.
Thought he had bought a dud untill I received mine. Within 2 weeks the same started to happened to one of mine.
I had noticed there was small amount of juice in cavity between fills, no more than on most mods.
Almost like condensation build up.
I figured it might be leaking into the mod where the plate the pod sits on meets the body of the mod.
I decided to use some silicon sealant smoothed around the edge of this plate and also around the 2 gold pins to see if this would stop any ingress.
Since then (nearly 3 months) I have had no further issue.
The mod that had started to show a fault is working fine...No more issue.

It is poor implementation of a good design by Vaperesso.

Edit:
It would seem that other pod mods from other manufactures suffer the same problem.
I would say that it is an inherent problem with the design of pod mods.
The cavity that is left between the pod and body of the mod allows warm vapor to sit, where it condenses back to liquid when it meets the cold surface of the mod. Eventually it 'pools up' over time, and leaks into the mod if not sealed properly.

Anybody know how to label this for international shipping? I guess I could call it faucet parts like FT does eh?
You're shipping via USPS to Spain? Shipping internationally requires that you fill out a customs form (doesn't matter which carrier). If you have a USPS online account you can find the form there. If not, they have the form at your post office. For contents write "gift, hobby parts" or "gift, <insert what you want>". Don't just write "gift" as that does draw attention, sometimes. That should avoid Cloud having to pay customs fees. We used to ship a lot overseas and that always worked for us.

Good luck, it's easy. :D

Vaseline can degrade o-rings depending on the type. Think I saw that same thread.

I use VG on RBA o-rings too. Works great.

Right now, I would say skip them, built 2 Reewape RUOK RBA's for the Vinci and both leaked out of the bottom badly, and sure couldn't get more wick in them channels, I need to watch a video on one, and see if something I am missing, but right now they are a big fail for me.

Agree, it's dependent on the type. Rubber is degraded by petroleum I learnt. Not sure how much rubber is in these cheap o rings though...
